“270o View” is a house with private swimming pool looking down the cliffs (caldera), in the entrance of the amazing village of Oia. A small church of 11th century is within “270o View”'s surrounding area.

The owner of the property, Manos, a talented architect, designed and constructed the house during the period of 2008-2011 with extreme respect to the natural landscape and the well known Santorinian traditional bioclimatic architecture. High quality materials combined with the traditional methods of Santorini’s technicians gave an outcome of excellent minimal aesthetic and fully functional interior spaces completely adapte...d to the unique scenery.

Its location provides an amazing and unobstructed panoramic view of 270 degrees towards the village of Oia, the Caldera, Thirasia’s cliffs, the islands of Folegandros, Sikinos, Antiparos, Ios, Naxos, Amorgos and the unique Sunset of Santorini.

“270o View” is adjacent to the beautiful path which connects the village of Oia with the city of Fira. There’s immediate car accessibility but also the ability to use public transportation since a bus stop is right on the entrance of the complex. You can also enjoy a number of quality restaurants in walking distance.

The house ( 100 sq.m. with 3 bedrooms ) can accommodate up to 9 persons. The living room and the fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor are comfortable and sunny spaces with immediate access to the swimming pool with the built sitting areas. The bedrooms (some of them as cave-houses and some as lofts) have adequate wardrobe spaces and most of them private bathrooms.

The “270o View” house, is designed and located in such way so that the resident can enjoy space and privacy. The house has its own private plot and swimming pool where any outdoor activities can take place among built sitting areas and landscaped gardens with automatic plant watering system. The volumetric and morphological approach to the traditional local residential architecture along with the use of natural materials and bright colors blend effortlessly with the unique scenery of Santorini. It surely gives you something you shouldn't miss: the experience of living surrounded by land, sky and sea....

Pricing is for 2 people.

For every additional person plus: €60 from March-October / €40 from November-February

Deposit: 50%

Balance due: 21 days before arrival.

Prices exclude exchange rates or bank tranfer fees.

Cancellation Policy:

- No penalty for cancellations 60 days or more before confirmed arrival.

- 59-21 days prior to arrival, results in 100% of cost of deposit.

- 0-20 days prior to arrival, results in 100% of cost of stay.

If the cancellation derives fr?m my part, for any reason, the deposit is refunded in full.

The above rate includes

1) Bottled mineral and sparkling water, wine, juice/sweet upon arrival.

2) Breakfast provisions: honey, butter, marmalade, wheat rusks, cereals, 3 kinds of coffee and tea, cocktail of herbs etc.

3) Daily (Mar-Oct), twice a week (Nov-Feb) maid service, change sheet, bath and beach towels every three days.

4) Sattelite tv, Wi-Fi and Aircondition

5) By showing our card you have discounts or free deserts to most restaurants in Oia!

6) You will be offered a bottle of Santorini wine with your meal at the OCHRE Wine Bistro which serves excellent food. Please look it up: www.ochre-bistro.com. I recommend you to go there 30 minutes before the sunset, in order to have the best table and enjoy the famous sunset of Oia. (It is 5 minutes drving distance from the villa).

  The island of Santorini is magical and the views from the villa fantastic - it really is a 270 degree view - stunning and priceless. Prices in Santorini are very expensive but this is good value by comparison, but be prepared to dig deep into your wallet. Only 5 minutes drive from Oia the position is perfect and the local tavernas - especially Finikia directly opposite - very very good and restaurants in Oia fantastic. The terrace and pool (which was far too cold to swim in (maybe OK during July and august) are also exceptional. But here are the "buts";
  
  The internet site and photo's really do not represent the villa. It is much smaller than the images project and could never sleep 7; 4 certainly - we were 3 and it was just really big enough - it misrepresents the villa and could result in disappointment on arrival. The photo's suggest that the villa is all on its own - it is one of 4 all of which are attached. This villa is not over looked but does overlook the other villas. Fortunatelly, there were no other occupants otherwise we would have been extremely disappointed.The quality of fittings is good as the villa is brand new - we were the third set of guests to stay in the villa. Access is up a very steep hill (although, of course, this enhances the spectacular view!!!) so you need to be very able-bodied. Dragging suitcases up to the top was a nightmare. I would suggest that this is not ideal for children so an "adults only" party should be very happy -we were! Hot water is supplied by solar energy - we didn't have any at all in the mornings so showers were not possible and the temperature was only marginally better in the evening. This was easily resolved after having spoken to the owner (although we only had hot water for the last morning of or 11 day vacation! - our fault!). We wanted tradditional Santorini "cave" and we got it; if you are claustrophobic you may struggle in the main bedroom...
  
  Facilities are good as you would expect and the maid service excellent - they were more than helpful and the pool was attended to every other day and immaculate.
  
  We had a wonderful holiday and would certainly recommend the villa but there are some drawbacks but this is "work in progress". Manos and Maria are great and I am sure they will continuously focus on enhancing the villas in general.
