Ojai is a small town of 8,000 people that is centered around the 5 diamond Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and the Topa Topa Mountains. The town boasts wine tasting, a movie theatre, fine dining, outdoor activities, tennis, golf, horseback riding, biking hiking, yoga, wellness services, antiquing and adorable boutiques. Ojai is 1 1/2 hours north of LA and 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. It is 12 miles to the Ventura Beaches, and in the winter less than 20 minutes up the mountains to snow. We rented Rancho Francese with our extended family for a long weekend, and we
were more than thrilled with our stay! The house is even more stunning in person
and has that
quintessential mid century ranch feel you only find in California mixed in with
gorgeous -and I mean gorgeous- home furnishings and modern amenities. The
linens, cookware and mattresses were of the highest quality which is important
to our family and a rare find in vacation rentals. The owners couldn't have been
more helpful and pleasant to deal with. We didn't want our stay to come to an
end and we will definetly be returning again and again (a whole week this
summer). Thanks Rancho Francese for a wonderful weekend of memories!
