Very nice to have open spaces, great views of the mountains and the convenience to the Squaw Valley ski area and village. Much nicer than apartments. Great living area with lots of 'board games' and fire place. Main bedroom very, very nice and there is a comfortable 'bunk room' for kids. Only negatives:
The second double bedroom is quite small and it shares a bathroom with the 'bunk room' and the audio visual set up for watching TV or Dvd's is very limited. -

The house was perfect for a long weekend getaway for two families. The location was great with close proximity to Squaw Village and the slopes, and off the beaten path for the kids to play without traffic concerns. The service was as one would expect with great customer service and very quick responses to questions.

We stayed at Sandy Way Chalet over an extended weekend. Great location - easy access to Tahoe City and the lake. Wonderful house with everything we needed, and well set up for kids. Great for a family.

Place is very well located within walking distance of Squaw if you don't have to carry your skis and boots. Driving to garage can be a little tough in heavy snow conditions without an SUV or chains. Tv didn't work for our week long stay presumably due to snow knocking down cable lines. Hot tub is great. Overall a nice experience.

Our family experienced an incredible time with our stay at Sandy Way. We ventured the Summer, Fall, and one of the best snow season so far!!! We will never forget our life ( 5 plus months ) that we lived there! No regrets, just wonderful memories!
