Built in 1987, our Oneonta Baseball Rental is a three bedroom two full bath house located just ten minutes from Cooperstown All Star Village and Baseball World and thirty minutes from Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Two picture windows overlook the stream in the back and the rest of the house is surrounded by a large yard. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in each of the other bedrooms, as well as two pull-out sleepers in the living room. Two full baths. perfect place for visiting with family. Open area's so all could talk with each other. It is a hunters cabin in the works. The stream in the back was so nice to listen to in the evening and lots of critters to great you in the am having your morning coffee on the porch. The only thing was that the water had a very strong sulpher smell and had to buy water to drink and cook with. Tom was always handy if we had a question. We would stay there again.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I know that visitors may be unaccustomed to the sulphur water which is very common in the area and tends to be more noticeable during dry periods like we had last winter. The water has been tested and can be safely used for cooking, bathing and can even be used as drinking water, although many may not care for the taste. In the future bottled spring water will be provided to all guests.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Clear Brook Lodge because our son was attending a baseball camp nearby. We were delighted with the accommodations, a 3 bedroom home with enough room for all six of us. It was much bigger than we expected from looking at the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked and the only purchases we needed to make were food for our meals. Shopping was easy because all stores (including a Walmart Super Center, Bj's and Hannaford's) were within 15 minutes from the Lodge. After a hectic day of baseball, it was a real pleasure to return to the Lodge where the stream, front porch, large yard and walking trails were so relaxing. Anytime we had a question, we just called Tom, the owner, who was always helpful and available.
