Byfield, MAKadel Heaven!
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in June 2012
As always Kadel is beautiful and the fishing was great! That week there where very few people staying in the cove, so it was a near wilderness experience. The house was clean and well stocked and you were all very helpful with our requests.
Our only disappointment was the condition of the dock, we always come with our boat(s) and spend much time on the dock, including awesome star gazing at night! The dock is in need of some repair to the planking and the structural supports at the water end are questionable.
Other than that it was heaven. We would love to find something like Kadel on the Kennebago River or Lake, do you have any options?
Thanks,
Rich -

south thomastonWe always enjoy the Kadel camp

The driving rain and wind on Sat. night (6/2) caused the roof to leak in the back bedroom with the twin beds. I believe it was just around the flashing on the exhaust chimney. It was a steady drip but only that one night of bad wind.
Also one of the kitchen chairs needs reglueing. It was like that last year as well.
Larger trash cans with lids should be provided. Animals got into stuff on the porch while we were out fishing. -

Kadel fit our family, we had plenty of room. The cabin does not get much sunlight so the overhead lights and lamps in all the rooms were appreciated. We enjoyed out stay very much. We would definitely rent again.

Frazeusburg, OhioBack to Rangeley area for the 15 or 16th time.
Left on 10/08/2010 for a stay in September 2010
We have gone to Rangeley and been on Bald Mt. Rd. for many years at another residence about a half mile from the Kadel property. The friends that we have rented from have aged, been ill, and we were unsure how or if we would be able to rent there in the future so we decided to try the Kadel property. Our reaction:
Good Things: nice living rooml, kitchen and dining areas.
wonderful fireplace and a good wood supply
a good dock
nice privacy
clean, neat,and with all conveniences
great porch
Not So Great:
Bedrooms...no doors or ceilings which would be o.k. for just two people, but a little close for multiple adult couples or with kids.
Not as much property to "roam" as with the place that we are accustomed to renting. We also had a canoe and kayak to enjoy there.
Overall, my wife and I would return if the Koure camp is not available.
Sincerely,
Doug and Becky Spade -

We love to return to this camp every year. Whether it's raining or sunny, we love the location and the spacious living room and kitchen and covered lakeside porch.

Fantastic. I love the fact that you leave Oquossoc and you drive to Rangeley and it seems like you are going to the "big city". Doesn't get much better than that.

Sunbury, PAA fantastic spot to stay.
Left on 09/12/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Enjoyed the area and all the activities it had to offer. The cabin was large enough for our extended family and offered everything we needed to enjoy our two weeks in Maine. It is a typical old fashioned cabin so privacy was a little bit of an issue. The walls of the bedrooms didn't extend all the way to the ceiling but it just made the atmosphere very light hearted with a lot of laughs.
