Golden Clouds is a luxurious, six acre gated estate located in the picturesque banana port village of Orcabessa, just a 15-minute drive from Ocho Rios. The villa sits directly above the sea overlooking its own palm fringed beach and the Caribbean Sea. Entrance is down a dramatic and long palm tree lined driveway.
The main house is built on two levels. The interiors are defined by spacious rooms unto multi-level terraces running the entire waterfront length of the estate. We were spoiled. It was magic, an oasis, like stepping through the looking glass then living on a movie set for a week. Both the home and grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive to our needs. Each took great pride in his or her jobs. It\'s been many years since ringing a little bell would automatically prepare the table for our next course. We did spend the major share of time in the pool, the beach and the Caribbean but it sure was nice to have a driver and a van to take us wherever we wanted to go. We all hope to go back soon!

Paradise Found

Our Jamaica vacation was wonderful. Everyone absolutely loved Golden Clouds and the entire staff. They were all excellent. Many people called it \" Fantasy Island\". Our weather was fantastic. We went deep sea fishing and caught a 6\' blue marlin. We took a staff member from Golden Clouds with us. It was his first time ever to fish. We also took him to Dunn\'s River Falls. All in all it was an incredible, authentic Jamaican experience. I would recommend Golden Clouds very, very, highly to anyone considering a \"fantasy\" vacation. It is truly Paradise Found and I\'d love to return again.

We selected Golden Clouds as the destination birthday celebration location along with 7 other friends. I wanted somewhere we could invite friends, and we could all have enough space, our own bathrooms, but be able to gather together. What a find!!!?? We are all going back next year!!! The staff at Golden Clouds are phenomenal! They bent over backwards to ensure our stay was perfect! The food was divine! There are lots of activities to partake in on the property, and we did it all! Including tennis, ping pong tournament, lounging by the pool, in the pool, on the beach, and on the floating trampoline they set in the water for us! Did I mention they swam drinks out to us!!! It was awesome! I recommend Golden Clouds to friends, families or even enemies... you will be friends when you leave!! Thank you Golden Clouds for a most memorable vacation! Words are inadequate in expressing what a great time we had!!

155000A fairy tale wedding and family vacation

We stayed at Golden Clouds for one week and held our daughter''s wedding on the property. The service was excellent. The wedding in particular exceeded our expectations in every way.
The first morning of our visit we were greeted by a double rainbow over the sea and that set the scene for our experience of this magical place. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. Stunning sea views and top-class snorkelling in a fish-laden reef. The food was beautifully prepared and all our guests were impressed with the evening candlelight dinner. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and new air conditioning units.
We really enjoyed visiting the neighbouring small towns of Oracabessa and Port Maria. This is the "real" Jamaica - not touristy at all. The drive from Golden Clouds to Port Maria is very scenic. Make sure to visit Kokomo Beach along the way. A bus and driver was at our service all week long as part of the rental and this was very useful for getting around.
A deep-sea fishing excursion organized out of Oracabessa on the boat, De-Boss, was most interesting and enjoyable. We hooked a Blue Marlin but it broke the line.
