This was our first trip to orange beach. The ride in was a little conjested but the beach and the great condo made up for the traffic. We felt very safe because of the friendly security guard and we could leave our chairs and umbrellas on the beach at night. We will be back next year. Betty and staff at Bender were very nice and helpful.

Winward Pointe 603 needs a definate overhaul. The blender smells like it is on fire, the lighting in the 2nd bathroom is hanging out of the ceiling, the floor was so dirty after "being cleaned" eveyones feet turned black. The back right eye on the stove didn't work,the front of the microwave was gone,the air went out and the maintenance guy argued with my husband about fixing it,the bottom lock on the door didn't work,the toaster cord had wires showing,and for 2 days the pool had a lot of grass in it. Not worth $2000 rent and $130.00 cleaning fee because I had to clean it myself on my vacation after waiting for it to be cleaned and inspected. You need a new cleaning crew. Also overheard people on the elevator saying how they had to clean their room as well. Not sure how other rooms are in this complex but would definately recommend accorind to this unit is way over priced, outdated, and horribly dirty upon arriving. When checking out the ladies at the desk said I hope you had a good crew and I said ok but you definately need a new cleaning crew and they told me to have a good ride home.

The balcony and floor were dirty, very dirty. Only the dead bolt lock on front door worked, the siding door from the master bedroom could not be locked and with small kids that was a major concern. The microwave needs to be replaced. The bedding in master bedroom was torn. This unit was not up to my standards. Again disapointed

Nice place and was perfect for the family. The beds in the master and the single queen room had a few issues. Master needs a new mattress because it was slopping to one side and the queen bed the mattress would not stay in place. Other than those things place is nice.

Only two people could bathe then all hot water was gone in guest bathroom. Called in Maint. and he came and checked it and said it was nothing he could do to fix it at this time. Coffe Pot did not work well and not enough Pots to cook with. I was so glad
there was lattice work on the Balcony to cover the bottom of rails because we had two toddlers with us and that gave us a sense of securtiy. Thanks for that. Will stay again.... -

Condo was good size with a nice balcony with great view of the beach and pool. The electronics and the rest of condo needs updated, the carpet and furniture needs cleaned.

The layout of this unit was great. And everyone had a bed in which to sleep because one of the bedrooms had 2 queen beds. The balcony was very spacious also. But if you are looking for luxury, this unit is not for you. However, with small children, we didn't have to worry so much about spills, etc. The furnishings were very nice, but very outdated; and the kitchen could have used a better set of pots. Overall our stay was great and we would definitely go back again.

There was no stopper in the bath tubs in order to fill up the tub to take a bath. It's hard with little ones to make them take a shower instead of a bath. Also, the vertical blinds weren't as nice as having curtains on the sliding glass doors. They were constantly getting messed up then wouldn't open, etc. We stayed in 804 last year and 603 this year at Windward Point and while we liked the two queen beds in the 3rd bedroom in 603 we liked that the tub worked and the curtains on the sliding glass door in 804.

My family and I had a great time here.. we had four adults and two children and were never cramped...two baths made a huge difference.... deep porch provided the chance to enjoy the view without having to be in the sun.

The only complaint is the master bedroom (with the king size bed) was VERY hot the entire stay. For whatever reason it would not cool off! Besides that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to others and if our golf association plays in Gulf Shores again next year we will definitely try to stay in this condo again!!

The unit needed more items, such as more towels, silverware, etc. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, but some of the other beds were not. Children may not care, but adults do!
I would stay at Windward Pointe again, but I am not sure I would stay in this unit. -

When I first got there the balcony view was great. There were some minor problems which was a little irritable for the money we paid. The dining lights had some electrical problems...wouldn't light up to its potential, so we ate with little or no light. Some of the electrical outlets in the rooms did not work. Some of the lighting in the rooms did not work...they need an electrician to come fix this place. We only stayed a very short trip, and didn't want to be bothered with people coming in to fix the place,but it was a hassle at night time. The shower curtains had mildew stains on it, and the tubs had black spots (???) on it which grossed my kids out really bad. Both of my kids woke up with really big bites on them (made them swolen)...they were like spider bites. I think this place needs to be kept up better. We went out quite a bit to avoid the atmosphere.

I wasnt sure if it was a new owner,but we had very little utensels in the kitchen.And the room was not clean. The house keeper left blood in the fridg.and did not sweep the floors. the screen door was off,and no trash liners in the trash cans.I will not stay with this owner again.we spent to much money for the room for it not to be clean.People love a good clean smell when they first enter a room. I will makea difference for the relaxation the are looking for on Vacation or just a weekend away!Hope you can get this problem under control.You need to take a good look at the money that we all give to the condos of Orenge Beach and upgrade on the cleanlyness of your staff,grounds,and rooms.Thank you for asking.That is a great place to start.
