Last minute vacation for Memorial Day weekend. We were very pleased with this anchor Vacations rental and anchor Vacations. We got in early and were notified the minute the condo became available. Check in was very smooth and the people so nice and friendly.
When we got to condo very clean and the views were awesome. First stay in Orange Beach and will stay again. The condo itself could use a little updating but everything worked and it was nice. If you love Bubba's you are only a hop away from it. Their food is great. The guard was very nice and helpful. Even going the extra yard to move her car and let us have her space when none were available. I must say that anchor Vacations and Romar Place employees made this one great trip.

The view was excellent and being right on the beach was great. The beach was nice and quiet , so relaxing was great.

THe layout of the condo was wonderful, great views and access to the beach. The condo itself was dirty. Food and beer cans under the beds, fleas, dirty unvacummed carpets, no sheets for the hide-a-bed, and the worst...long black hair found in ice that was left in the freezer as well as hair in the bed linens. The outdoor pool was not clean and many folks were drinking beer from bottles on the beach, but no one stopped it when reported. Broken glass was left where the group staked their claim. The group was not staying in Romar Place, but came from across the street. I would not recommend this for the high price that we had to pay. We cleaned the condo, even changed the bag in the vacumn and feel we should at least get cleaning fees reimbursed.

We are terribly sorry for your unhappy stay. We would have been happy to send someone down to take care of the cleaning problems and bring you sofa sheets if it would have been reported. We strive to keep all of our units in top condition. As for the complex and other people we have no control over that and I am sorry you were so inconvenienced. We have had numerous guests in this unit since your stay and no one has reported any problems with fleas.
