We enjoyed our vacation at this location very much. The location was perfect for a family with children (small or grown). The beach area was very clean. There were a couple of things in the condo that could have been taken care of but all in all it was in good condition. We did have to wait to check in which was a little rough being that we just drove for quite a while and we had small children, but other than that everything was great!

1404B was a good condo. Definitely could use updates. Master bath had issues with shower door that would not open until my husband got it back on the tracks. No toilet paper holder. Kitchen was well equipped. Loved the spacious balcony. One of the elevators was not working for a full day. Pool was good but there was always something in it that looked like throw up on the sides of the pool? Not sure what that was but it was there for a couple of days. The location was awesome. Overall I would stay again.

The Bender Realty staff were beyond friendly! Everyone I encountered from my first inquiry to the moment we turned in the keys was professional and downright sweet. Summer House is smack dab in the middle of things and made getting groceries, souvenir shopping, and even sightseeing convenient. The pool and beach were wonderful, but we weren't at all impressed with the indoor pool, which was across the parking lot and 5 ft. deep. We took 4 small children on vacation, so that portion of the property, which includes a small kiddie playground, just didn't suit our needs like we expected it to from the pictures we had seen. The elevator was HOT and slow, but reliable. Our condo was the old-fashioned style with a small kitchen and no pantry. The appliances worked great though. The bathrooms are small, but plenty of hot water and the convenience of the washer and dryer right off the kitchen. The furniture was sturdy, comfortable, and there was plenty of seating area, a sofa, 3 chairs, ottomans, and the convenience of the dining table near the living area so those at the table were included in tv shows and discussions in the living area. The beds weren't all that comfortable, but there was plenty of room in them to move around and to place suitcases out of the way. Mirrored closets gave us a place to do hair and makeup without taking up coveted bathroom space -this condo sleeps 9, but only has 2 small bathrooms. The parking lot was flooded 2 out of 3 days due to heavy downpours. Driving through in a compact car might have been scary. Beware that there is more than one Summer House building, hence the A or B designation. We were so excited to get to Summer House that we brought our luggage up to the first building we saw-lol! Overall, a great vacation. We didn't get any complaints of the noise we made with 4 kids and we never heard more than footsteps from other condos. For the price and the fact that we booked extremely late, Summer House was more than adequate.

It was a great vacation. All the family enjoyed the pool and lazy river, We hope to got back to the same location in the coming years. The view from the balacony was so relaxing. We watch the boats on the harbor and enjoyed the atmosphere of tranquility.

We had a wonderful time in Orange Beach Alabama (loved the location of Summer House). We did expericence a few "glitches" during our stay...our air conditioner quit working (spent a very warm night and a hot afternoon, but it did get repaired). We were issued two room keys one of which did not work 80% of the time and we had a tough time preparing meals with the limited amount of pans provided. That aside, the weather was ideal, the people very friendly so I would say we had a pleasant stay.

I loved the layout and furnishing of the unit 1404b T summerhouse. This unit has the potential to be an outstanding rental. But there were a few things that may seem trivial but gave the impression of being cheap (chinsy). Bender initially gave me only 2 magnetic key cards which was ridiculous for a 3 b/r unit. My family had to keep figuring out how to make sure we knew how we would get into the unit. After 2 days of this I did call and talked tosomeone who agreed I needed another key. Then, there was only one partial roll of tp in the master b/r and a full roll in the second. After years of renting condos I have always seen a spare roll tucked in the cabinet. I also noticed that there was a SMALL bottle of dishwashing liquid that was only a 1/3 full and 2 small cakes of dishwasher detergent. It would be exceedingly inexpensive to provide several of these cakes and a full miniature bottle of detergent. I did notice also that the floors in the unit were not clean. I found some sticky spots on the first day and under the master bed there was a layer of dust and sand.

GOOD EXPERIENCE, CONDO WAS DUSTY (ITEMS SITTING AROUND) AND ONE BEDROOM HAD DIRTY SHEETS WHEN WE ARRIVED - THERE WAS SAND AND HAIR IN THEM. POOLS AND LOCATION WERE GREAT!!

The unit was nicely decorated and the kitchen very well equipped. There were books and games for guests to enjoy also. Master bedroom huge with door to balcony. Very clean. Only strange thing, had to plug in all the lamps??

We loved eating breakfast out on our balcony every morning - what an amazing view of the beach! Because the price was more reasonable than most other beachfront condos, we were a little concerned the quality might be questionable. Thankfully we were wrong - it was high quality for an affordable cost.

The only negative comments I have are the elevators didn't work very well. One day we had to walk down 14 flights of stairs but we saw a family with small children having to walk up the stairs which was very difficult. Also, the mattresses in our unit 1404B were horrible! I recommend replacing them ASAP. In EVERY bedroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We would recommened this place to anyone! Was a great view, and getting to see sharks and other creatures from the ocean was awesome too! We did have a leak from upstairs. Called manager and they came right out. Said they had taken care of it. The people upstairs were doing something that they shouldn't have been doing. Well they seemed to continue doing it, because it continued to leak. I called manager again, and they came right out again after hours! What a nice place to stay. The home is lovely, and I hope that the damage to the roof is minum, because this house is a keeper! Thank you for sharing your condo with our family!

The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. The outdoor pool was great. The indoor pool and hottub was good to use when it rained on us one day. The workout room had everything we needed as well. With Winn Dixie about 2 blocks down the road we were able to get to the store quickly. Would definately recommend this condo as well as Bender Realty for a stay in Orange beach.

All the floors throughout the condo were very dirty, we had to vacum the floors upon our arrival. There was crumbs under some of the beds and in the hallways. The whole place needed at good cleaning, otherwise the condo was great for the price.

Property was in a nice location close to souvenier shops and the grocery stores. Overall property was well kept but the condo room itself wasn't clean. When we arrived the room had not been swept, there was paper on the floor and roaches in the bathroom, and fur (dust) growing on the fans. The balcony was extremely dirty. If you go on the balcony put on shoes or your feet will turn black. But other than the condo needing cleaning our stay was enjoyable.

My family and I try to spend a week each fall in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores. We love it there. This was a really nice condo, and the people at Bender are very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The property was beautiful and was in a great location!! We have been vacationing in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for 7 years and my whole family agreed that this was the best condo yet. It had ample space so you didn't feel like you were on top of each other and the size of the balcony was simply incredible!! We don't feel like vacationers anymore when we come down. It feels like we are going to our second home and Summer House just made it seem all the more like home!! We would definitely like to stay in 1404B next August again. Thank you!

My fam ily and I loved staying at summerhouse.We will be coming back.I thought bender realty was great.They knew we traveled all night to get there and they saw to it that our condo was one of the first ones cleaned and we got to check in about 12:30.I would recomend Bender to everyone interested staying in Gulf Shores

The property was a good bit more dated than I am used to staying in. That aside, we found that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned which was a bit of a disappointment. However, we did not let that keep us from enjoying our vacation. The location, size of balcony and size of pool were great! Would stay again. Thanks!!

I would not only recommend Summer House to other interested folka but I have already sent my in-laws to Bender Realty to find a place to stay next winter. My parents have been to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach several times in the last 15-20 years and used another realty company for several of the years. They tried out Bender a couple of years ago and wish they had done it sooner. They recommended it to us and the rest is history. We can't wait to return next Spring. Erica Hulett

We stayed at Summer House in October and it was wonderful. The rates were low and the weather was absolutely beautiful. All of the ammenties such as the indoor and outdoor pools were so well maintained. Everything you needed was right at your doorstep. We definitely hope to be back this October.
