We come to Orcas every summer and this was by far the best place we've stayed. Great kitchen and playroom. Pond and outside fire pit kept the kids beaming! We will definitely be back!

The house is situated in a great location very close to the state park, hiking trails, nearby beaches and scenic views. Although it was a bit too wet to use during our stay I can imagine the outdoor fire pit and dock by the pond being wonderful places to sit outside and enjoy the sun and nature. On the chilly nights we were there we enjoyed the large fireplace and well equipped kitchen. Our dog was welcome and there were even pet bowls I hope it was ok to use! Overall our stay was excellent.

Want a magical vacation? Want to leave all of your worries behind? Want to never return home? Then Frog Song Farm is the place for you.
This Orcas Island home is dreamy. A gourmet kitchen stocked with copper pots and Le Creusets. Decks wrapping the house for lounging and reading. A steam shower to melt in after a long hike up Mount Constitution. A pond with a small deck perched over it for an afternoon happy hour retreat. Owls occupying the valley at night while you sit around the fire pit enjoying your family or great friends. 15 acres all to yourself. This place has it all. It's heaven.
The house is well cared for by it's owners. They proved to be super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It's great for a large group and families or for a couple looking for a week of privacy.
At first, we were skeptical of retreating to an island and not having a water front view. This was all forgotten about upon arriving at Frog Song. We've returned to this house again and again, and we've never been disappointed. Frog Song is our goto place when on Orcas. We can't imagine staying anywhere else.
And yes, The frogs will sing to you too. But only if you ask nicely. -

Loved the home! It was elegant and charming and the whole farm was ours to run and roam! It was perfect for my sisters, spouses, children, and uncle. The rooms are beautiful and with 3 floors we could break up the party into better privacy for all. We wanted a Thanksgiving where we knew what the weather would be: cold and rainy! But it wasn't completely true. The day we hiked to the top of Mt Constitution was gorgeous and sunny. The turkey was delicious from the gourmet oven and plenty of room to make all the side dishes. We want to come back in the summer to enjoy all the wonderful outdoor spaces we didn't take advantage of due to the winter weather.

We have been to the Frog Song many times and would not stay on another place on Orcas. It is a fantastic Orcas retreat. Open space, high quality throughout, with room to wander and recharge. You cannot go wrong. Wendy, thanks for your great hospitality always!

My husband and I stayed at Frog Song Farm with our two young children for a little less than a week toward the end of august this year. We were on Orcas to get married, and wanted to find a place that was truly "away-from-it-all", big enough to house the four of us and our parents, and above all else, comfortable and nice, as this trip was obviously something really special. Everything about Frog Song Farm exceeded our expectations -- from our interactions with the owner, Wendy (who answered our many, many questions promptly and in depth), to the feeling we had when we left -- that we had gotten more than our money's worth (!) was amazing. It is rare to feel like you are getting a deal when you do something nice for yourself, but here we were surprised at every turn.
Let me begin by saying that the pictures do not do this place justice -- it is so very much prettier than it appears online. Perhaps that has something to do with the fact that you can't really capture the essence of a place like this on film -- the sweet smelling air, the quiet nights and the lovely chirping frogs (we got serenaded the night before we left -- so cool) lend as much to the charm as the house itself, which is a really nice marriage of rustic and refined. We loved the 6 burner Viking range and numerous cookbooks, the light throughout (due to many many windows and skylights) the porches off every room and I was especially in love with the master bath -- that beautiful clawfoot soaking tub and shower and steam room pretty much sold me the moment I saw them. The beds were comfortable, and we could put our kids right across the hall, while our parents got to enjoy a little quiet downstairs. This house just feels... loved. It's a really special place. We are already planning our next trip there so we can take advantage of this place when we can have a little bit more of a quiet trip! If you're looking for a place to escape on Orcas, Frog Song Farm is ideal. -

We didn't know what we were in store for when we booked this home months in advance.
We literally could not have been more pleasantly surprised. What a spectacular house! It was so much more than the pictures show; beautiful house, beautiful landscaping, and a private peaceful pond! Such beauty and a great place for our kids to roam. This home truly has it all, a fantastic kitchen to cook in, lovely bedrooms and baths,and a back patio to enjoy those perfect nights in Orcas by the fire pit. Our only regret is we could not have booked it longer. We hope to one day make it back, I don't think I would stay anywhere else in Orcas!
