HometownLovely Cottage in Ontario
Left on 03/22/2013 for a stay in August 2012
We enjoyed our stay at Bass Lake; it was exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect. We were close to amenities and yet the cottage gave a feel of being away from it all. The lake was quiet and the lot was private, we did not really notice the neighbours. Beds were very comfy - loved the guesthouse. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and it was nice and cool inside despite the hot weather. The new deck was great and trees provided much needed shade on those hot afternoons. Lots of space for entertaining family and friends. Everyone enjoyed the lake which was warm and nice for swimming...We would have loved to use the firepit by the lake but unfortunately a fireban was in place during our stay. Beautiful sunset views from the deck and the dock. Lots to do in the area - golfing, farmers market, Leacock festival, hiking trails. Nice family vacation spot.

HometownWonderful Weekend Getaway
Left on 03/22/2013 for a stay in June 2012
We have just come back from a wonderful weekend at the cottage on Bass Lake! The interior of the cottage is tastefully decorated - from the stone fireplace to the spacious and comfortable sitting areas. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is clean and well-organized. The windows provide a beautiful view of the lake and the new, large deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the spectacular sunset. There are many activities near the cottage - hiking at the provincial park, walks on the country roads, and a farmer's market in town. Bass Lake provides the perfect setting for a peaceful canoe. The hosts of the cottage were gracious and welcoming. They provided us with additional information about the cottage and nearby areas of interest. We have rented cottages over many years across the province and our vacation at the cottage on Bass Lake was a highlight. Thank you again for such a lovely and memorable weekend!

HometownGrateful Memories That Will Last Forever
Left on 03/22/2013 for a stay in January 2012
What a wonderful place to spend time on cold winter days and nights! The fire was glorious and the layout was absolutely ideal for everyone to hang out together while cooking, reading, dancing, playing games and telling tales. We loved the lit deck at night that showed the snow-covered splendor of the outside world and amplified our sense of being warm and cozy inside in the perfect cottage setting. Thank you for being so kind, hospitable & professional, to boot! We are truly grateful for all the fantastic memories we'll have forever!
