Our stay was excellent! We would definitely recommend this place. It felt like home the minute we walked in the door. This condo is very close to the pool, and club house. The beds were super comfortable. My son loved the slide in the kids room. Every attraction was within twenty minutes. There was a grocery store and convenience store less then a mile away. There was games for the kids, movies, washer/dryer, wifi...it felt like they had us in mind when they set everything up. They were also very friendly at the front desk. They were happy to help with questions about the condo, or about the amusement parks. The pool and hot tube were great as well, my kids could have stayed in the pool all day. Everything was clean, and easily accessible, we hope to go back some time.
The transaction was great and working with Wendy and Bryan was great. Thanks, this is exactly what we were hoping for in a vacation. -

Lovely apartment between Universal Studios and Seaworld. Spacious, comfortable and secure. Very helpful owners who provide good information.

Although this review is a little late (2 years!) I still thought I'd send it in as I am still telling people going to Orlando to look into renting this place...it was that nice. Went down with four 18-yr-old girls who'd just graduated high school for their visit to the Wizarding World of Hpotter and they loved this condo almost as much as Universal. The location is great, close enough to everything but still has some quiet and seclusion too. The pool and clubhouse were huge and very nicely set up. Loved the security of the gated community too. The condo itself was quite nicely appointed, almost luxurious but also homey-feeling. And the cost to rent was so much better than getting 2 or 3 hotel rooms for the 5 of us. All in all, this place can't be beat!

My family and I stayed here with some of our relatives and loved the fact that the owner had plenty of toys/supplies for the kids.

Close to the airport
Don't have any cons the unit fit the description with some added bonuses.
We will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else traveling to the Orlando area. The owner even extended our stay for us on short notice - emailed them after 11pm on Saturday night and was able to switch our departure from Sunday to Monday (Thanks again). -

I have nothing bad to say about my stay at Vista Cay Sunset. Nothing at all.
It's a spacious, beautiful, clean and modern living area. My wife was ecstatic when she saw it for the first time. So were the kids. She was even more excited when I told her how much I had paid.
Wendy and Brian (owners) are great to work with. I mean really, really great. They're patient, answer all questions, and are very helpful.
In fact, Wendy just sent me an email stating that she had noticed that she never refunded my security deposit. And I had completely forgotten about it!
I strongly recommend this place for a vacation. -

We chose this apartment because of the great reviews on Trip advisor and still we were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the accomodation. My daughter has repeated asked to live there! (she's 9). We don't go on many holidays and when we do I expect the highest standards. This apartment feels like it had the sq ft. area of my entire 4 bed house in the UK. The facilities within the apartment are great (I especailly loved the giant washer and dryer tucked away in the hall, which makes having clean towels every day for the pool so easy). After a hard day on your feet at the attractions it was great to get back to a spacious comfortable apartment with every facility on tap. My daughter loved that we had a DVD in every room including the bedroom, and the computer with internet access was great when my husband forgot his prescription goggles and managed to get some fed-exed to him from a us website. Normally we go out to eat on holiday but the apartment was so nice that I was quite happy to pop to the local supermarket and cook supper most nights. The resort pool was great and the grounds were spotlessly clean (but beware the jacuzzi next to the pool which was so over-chlorinated it stripped your skin and you could barely breathe in it, safety gone a bit mad there). Our friends were staying in a nearby 5* hotel that didn't even come close - they loved it too. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if we went back to Orlando and I would give it my unreserved recommendation.

This condo was perfect for our needs! We were traveling with a 10, 12 and 15 yr old, and all were happy! The pool was close and great! The condo itself was very quiet--very important to us. Place was clean and the beds were very comfortable! Close to Discovery Cove/Sea World and Universal as well as great restaurants. Loved it!

The condo was very clean and well taken care of first of all. I stayed there with my mother-in-law, husband, twin 5 year old daughters and my 2 year old son. Aside from being decorated beautifully and well furnished, I was most impressed with all the extras not mentioned in the description. They had lots of toys and games for children of all ages and for both boys and girls. They had bunk beds with a slide that my kids just got a kick out of. They had a great movie collection for both adults and kids of all ages. They had pool floats and water toys for the pool use...which we didn't get a chance to use from being at Disney the whole time, but I was still impressed with all of these extras that made our stay at the condo peaceful and enjoyable for my family. I will come back in a heartbeat. The communication was so quick and easy as well with the owner. I highly recommend this unit and think this is the best way to go as far as a trip to Orlando for any of the attractions and parks. Thank you so much!

The Sunset exceeded our expectations in every way. Communication with Wendy made the whole rental process smooth and easy from pre planning to checkout. The 3 bedroom accomodations allowed me, my wife and our 2 children to spread out comfortably. This vacation home is newly remodeled and furnished with all the comforts of home. Our kids really enjoyed the toys, books, dvds, etc. that were made available to them. I greatly appreciated the computer with internet service and the ability to make long distance calls at no charge. The kids loved the pool that is conveniently located right next door. The location of Sunset is convenient to all the parks, shopping, food, etc. We hope to visit again next year.

Very comfortable...all the ammenties of home! Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, having laundry facilities was a plus--beats a hotel room anyday!! The only small downside was the overcrowded pool. Would have been nice to see a second large pool on the grounds to service the large number of vacationers.

We stayed for a week with our grown sons, their wives and our grandchildren. This condo was perfect for us and centrally located to the theme parks and great shopping. Everything we needed was in the condo with lots of extras for the children. The condo is located very close to the pool and clubhouse. The owners were great and you will not be disappointed.

To me, vacation just isn't a vacation if your kids have to sleep in the same room with you! Vista Cay Sunset is your home away from home. Three bedrooms means your kids can be passed out from a day at the park yet you can be in the living room on the porch with the lights on and the TV blasting. If you've never rented a condo, look no further than this unit. The Baiers have thought of everything! They've got toys for the pool and in the room. There are board games. Sand buckets. Beach towels. Dvds. Other condos don't offer these little extras! The unit is clean, comfortable, and bright. It's nicely furnished and our kids loved the bunkbeds which come with a slide! Our first day we had to leave Disney early because the kids wanted to come back and play in the pool and the room. The pool is adequate for swimming after a hot day at the park. Nothing fancy but after Disney you don't need anything more.
We prepared lunches and snacks for the parks. At night we ordered take out for the adults and cooked kid fare at the condo (mac&cheese;, etc.) You'll save money and you'll still feel like you're on vaction --- we ate sushi, Maggianos etc. With kids ages 3 & 5, the last thing we wanted to be was in a restaurant with them. Bonus! Vista Cay has a home theatre in the clubhouse that you can reserve free of charge. My kids loved it. We ordered pizza (NY Pizza was good) and had snacks and juice. You can rent a movie in the clubhouse or bring your own. We went to Cocoa Beach --- about 45 minutes to an hour away. Look for Lori Wilson public beach, it's past the Ron Jon Surf shop. It has free parking, outdoor shower and washrooms. It's much cleaner than the beach area near the surf shop. You'll have to buy an umbrella there are no rentals around.
The Baiers are awesome hosts. Very helpful with good tips and willing to help you with any of your needs. Those without kids will appreaciate the adult decor. You won't even know that this condo is kid-friendly. -

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at the Vista Cay Sunrise condo unit in late May. The unit is a second floor, three bedroom layout that faces the plaza in front of the clubhouse.
We've stayed in many other units in Vista Cay in the past but none as nicely appointed as the two owned by the Baiers. There is a large screen LCD high-definition TV in the living room and smaller flat screens in all other bedrooms. There is a Wii system and other games in a guest bedroom for the kids. The unit has new carpeting throughout. The furnishings are outstanding in every room. A desktop flat-screen computer is available for your use along with wifi internet.
You certainly get the sense that you're living in someone's impeccably designed home rather than simply a rental that's thrown together with the least amount of effort and expenditure.
The aim of any stay in a resort area in Orlando is convenience, comfort, and safety. Vista Cay is centrally located, adjacent to the Convention Center, International Drive and Universal Studios, and within easy driving distance to Disney. It is a gated community so safety concerns are minimized. The resort has outstanding amenities, such as a child's wading pool, a large resort-style pool, and jaccuzzi just behind a beautiful clubhouse that contains a fitness center and game room. There is a great running/walking path that encircles a lagoon perfect for an early morning or evening jog or stroll. All of these are just a 30 second walk from the front door of the Vista Cay Sunrise condo.
Bryan and Wendy are extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly.
We've been staying in the Orlando area for many years and stayed in many rentals. Some have been fairly mediocre, others very nice. However, we've never stayed anywhere with this level of elegance, convenience, and "at home" comfort.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vista Cay Sunrise to anyone. -

We have stayed at many condos in the Disney area, and this by far was the nicest condo - it felt new, had high-end furnishings throughout, and decorated beautifully - all in a Tommy Bahama feel - so you really felt like you were in a vacation destination.
The kitchen was well stocked. The condo is spacious. We traveled with grandparents and it worked out perfectly. Grandparents stayed in one king bedroom with their own nice bathroom. We stayed in another king bedroom with our own nice bathroom. And our four kids each had their own twin size bed. Beds were very comfortable and very nice quality bedding.
Our kids had a ball. Our two oldest loved having xbox and playstation. They could wheel the game cart to their room of choice and play on their own. They also loved the basketball court, game room, pool and movie theater at the clubhouse.
Our two youngest had a ball with the bunk bed fort and slide in the 'hideaway' room. They also loved all the surprises they found tucked away - matchbox cars, boardgames, toy computers. They were well entertained while I could get our stuff packed up to hit the parks. The pool was also really great for kids - lots of steps and the shallow end, and a large kiddie pool that they loved.
My husband enjoyed the mile plus running path around the Lake and the exercise room at the clubhouse. I loved all the extras - desktop computer with internet access, toys for kids, great selection of movies, free long distance phone, located right next to clubhouse.
Vista Cay is in a great location - we will definitely go back. -

I stayed in Vista Cay by Bryan Baier with my family. We were 5 adults and 2 children. We just love it.
The house is very comfortable, the wifi works very well and Vista Cay is very close to all the atractions. The localization is really good. I recommend. -

It was nice to walk into a very clean and nicely decorated condo. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us and the kids had video games. It is a beautiful resort with pool, hot tub and work-out area. We were close to all the amusement parks. I would love to go back and stay for another vacation at the Vista Cay Sunset. I would definitely recommend this this condo to friends and family.

We found the unit clean, nicely furnished, and very spacious. It is obvious the Baiers treat this as their home away from home with all the extra touches. There was plenty of room for our large crowd. Loved the kitchen and newer appliances. The pool is close and fantastic. Will stay here again!

Vista Cay is a well located resort close to Disney, Universal, Sea World, etc., great restaurants and fabulous shopping. The resort is well maintained, the management very helpful and the pool area is beautiful.
It is obvious that the Baier's condo is also their "home away from home" because it does not have the feel of a rental. It has all the amenities of home, is warmly decorated and the furniture is lovely. They even include toys, DVD's, a high chair etc. for children. One of the things we liked the best was that there were great quality mattresses on the beds.
We would certainly rent their condo again when in the Orlando area. -

My family and I stayed at this condo for 10 wonderful days. It was more beautiful in person than in the photos and so roomy and pleasant. The closet with bunk beds is perfect for small children. The owners were so great to deal with and very easy to communicate with. If you are planing to rent a condo in Florida, this is the one you want. I have no complaints, just a wonderful time.

Our stay at this condo couldn't be better. Wendy and Bryan gave us all the information we needed before our arrival and did everything they could to accommodate our needs. The apartment was very clean and it was exactly like the pictures we saw. The condo is very well kept and very well furnished. The beds are very confortable and the size of the apartment was perfect for our party of seven. We had all the conveniences needed to have a great vacation. The condo's location is excellent. It's very near Universal Drive and all the parks. I hope we can stay there again in our next Orlando vacation.

The condo was beautiful,clean and large that it could accomodate our group.( 3 families) I loved the bunk beds adjacent to the third bedroom. It was close to the parks-very convenient. You couldn't aske for more. The condo is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable for a long stay. It shows that it is well taken care of because it is immaculate and the appliances appear new. Not only were the beds really comfy but there were special "little finds" for my children. They were ecstatic to see a kids area furnished with a bunk bed that had a slide (my kids thought having this "private space" was the coolest). They even have an armoire filled with toys and games. What a great place to come back from the parks and relax, swim (HUGE pool/and nice kiddie pool)or watch a movie in the pool game room area. We didn't miss the park hotels one bit. What a gem!! Thanks for having pride in your rental. Because of it, we had a great time and we'll be back!!

We were thrilled with our accommodations. Beautifully furnished, all the necessities with extras were provided. Spacious, nice floor plan. 2 master bedrooms with private baths. Worked really well for us as grandparents and our daughter and her family enjoyed the other master bedroom and kids bedroom separate from us. The building is right next to the clubhouse and pool, so it was easy to go swimming and enjoy the facilities. We even had a little birthday party alongside the pool. It's close to SeaWorld, the convention center and Disney. Lots of restaurants, outlet centers and shopping nearby. Highly recommend.

Impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, spacious condo. Everything you would like in a luxury rental and more. We loved the sparkling pool area- never crowded, the path around the lake, the movies and theatre seating in the clubhouse, a parking space every time we pulled in, the bunks off the master bedroom and the daybed, trundle bed in the 3rd bedrom. Huge bathrooms with everything you need, just like the best Hotels, but soo much more room. Big refrigerator, every appliance, especially the blender for smoothies, utensil and plate. The Baiers made renting a breeze, but most of all we enjoyed getting out of the Orlando crowd and having a homebase to come back to filled with all of the amenities of home, and even more. We would love to come back and stay next year, too. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!
