We were a party of 9 and everybody love the villa. It's spacious, big and clean. The pool and the lanai were perfect and it was very close to all the theme parks (Disney, Universal, Outlett). The neighbordhoud is very quiet and safety. The children (5) were very happy about their vacation and the parents either. Thank you for all the little attention and be sure we will come back as soon as possible.

What can I say? This house was great. We travelled as a family of 6 adults and 2 young children (3 mos & 2 yrs) and were never short on space. Booking this house was easy, I simply emailed the owners and inquired about the availability. Andy & Lynn were quick to reply and confirm availability. They were also very prompt in their replies to any questions I had about the property or any other relevant information leading up to our stay. It did take quite a while to actually pay for the duration of our stay as their management company had some difficulties in setting up their credit card payment system. A payment via paypal was made instead for the stay and the security deposit (which was promptly returned after our stay).
First impressions of this house were excellent. The house has great street appeal and the house itself was exceptionally clean. Very impressed by all family members. The rooms are all a very good size and well furnished. All of the details of the rooms can be found on their website, but I can assure you they are accurate. The pool and deck area was perfect and a great way to spend an evening enjoying a couple drinks after a long day at one of the theme parks.
The location of the property was great, close to food & drug stores, as well a a few local & chain restaurants. Driving times to the theme parks are accurate to what they advertise. The vacation guide that andy & Lynn have compiled is a great source of information and was referenced by our party a number of times.
Lastly, a welcome basket with some groceries was delivered the day we arrived, a very thoughtful and welcomed touch after a day of travel. This really summed up the level of thought and care that andy & Lynn have put into this property.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an exceptional home with proximity to the parks and other services such as food & grocery. -

The rental exceeded my expectations. We traveled with a two family group and everyone had their own space. After leaving the Disney parks we all relaxed in our own desired areas. The house was clean and comfortable. We've stayed at other homes and villas but this one by far has been the best. I refuse to return to the area for an extended stay without staying there.

Wonderful holiday home which does feel like a home rather than a rental property. The owners have really gone the extra mile equipping the property, with music systems, games consoles, computor etc. The property is very clean and well cared for and the neighbourhood quiet. The owners are lovely to deal with and make the process very easy, even down to providing a very handy 'Guide' based on their own knowledge/ experiences and a Welcome pack. We throughly enjoyed our stay and thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home.

The first time we ever went to Florida was in 1995 and since then we have had the good fortune to visit 10 times to date 2011.
We enjoyed our 1st stay but have particularly enjoyed our 2nd stay at this spectacular, homely, loving villa and played, laughed, and had lots and lots of fun during our three week stay. Alas the holiday went too fast! And we were all sorry and sad to leave; taking home the treasured memories will keep us working hard so we can book this villa again - for the 3rd time - hopefully soon.
The villa is located at the Champions Gate area, which we think it is best placed for all the parks and shopping plus it is very upmarket, clean and a safe area to stay whilst on holiday with your family. The management company are excellent and are only a phone call away.
You can tell the owners andy & Lynn love and adore this villa -as all the furniture is top speck and they consistently upgrade adding the newest gadgets; new silky bedding, pots + pans and games meeting your every need. This 2nd stay we took our Granddaughter and there was everything for her; cot, highchair, trolleys, toys, pool toys, games etc.
In our opinion it is the best villa in the whole of Florida.

Wow - what can I say - an amazing 5-star holiday home! Beautifully furnished with all the mod cons including heated pool and spa, wii, playstation, x-box kinect, sonos music system, pc, printer, pool table, air hockey and darts board. Great location in the lovely community of Westhaven, only 15 mins drive to Disney Parks. The villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a conservation at the rear. The owners provided excellent service before our holiday, and gave us lots of useful advice to help us plan our holiday of a lifetime! It is not the cheapest holiday home on the market but I would defintely recommend paying the extra rental fees to stay at this superb property. Tip: book early to avoid disappointment. We have a fantastic time at The Shire and we'll be back again soon.

We stayed here with another family, 4 adults, 4 teen/tweens. Lots of space, toys and great pool and spa. No concerns about the house - our only complaint was the traffic getting to and from attractions - but this is Orlando now... Wished we had more time to spend relaxing at the house.. the club house also looked great but no time to visit.
Highly recommended for families and with children, teens and tweens. It is a beautiful and well maintained property. Andy and Trish were very attentive and answered our every question - very easy to book it. -

Our family had the pleasure of staying at The Villa at The Shire for 10 days in late Feb/early Mar. The home is in close proximity to the Disney and Universal parks in a gated community. We were 10-15 min drive from all the Disney parks and 25-30 min from Universal. Traffic was never an issue, the home's location lends it to a reverse commute both ways. Also a bonus for coming back to the house for a swim in the afternoons before setting out again in the evening.
We have stayed in vacation rentals several times in the past and have been pleased. However, one thing that I always have found lacking in our previous rentals is the lack of warmth and Spartan decor in the homes and the real chore of stopping by the rental company picking up keys and filling out paperwork. Not so here! From my first query about the property, Lynn was very prompt and full of helpful info. Everything was handled via email/ electronically. There are no keys to pick up, as the door code is monitored and set remotely.
From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were staying at the home of a friend. The decor is absolutely lovely and thoughtful. All possible amenities are provided for, even some we would never think of (walkie-talkies for use during your stay, a real help at the parks as we could never hear our mobiles). The bedrooms and baths are well appointed with plenty of towels (both bath & beach) and comfortable linens. The pool and spa are lovely as well, well maintained and clean. There are several loungers and chairs, as well as a nice stock of pool toys for the kiddies. We enjoyed a few lazy days here!
Lynn also provides a very comprehensive website detailing all the activities and shopping in the area. I found quite a bit of useful info and tips here that I hadn't seen in any of my extensive research.
The Shire and it's owners are a real gem! We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to a friend.

From the day we booked to the day we left our Florida holiday home was just excitment plus. Our team was made up of, partner and myself, my 14 and 6 year old boys partners 19 and 22 year old girls son in law 21 and their daughter 3.
The home we stayed in belonging to andy and Trish was just out of this world, space space and more space with every concievable amenity for your pleasure. The Tom Tom available for use was a god sent and used every day. Getting to and from the theme parks was very easy everything within 20 mins really. The home was spotless like new. When we arrived the cleaners had left us an assortment of snacks and drinks which we werre very gratetful for after such a long trip from australia. There was an abundance of clean fresh towels and bedlinen. In all we had the most fabulous time in a wonderful home, we did not want to leave cant wait to return and would not look at staying anywhere else. -

Best Villa we have ever stayed in. Far enough away from the madness of Down Town but close to everything you need and want to visit. The Villa had everything you needed for a fantastic holiday with little extra's that just made it a pleasure to stay there (things like the Tom Tom Sat Nav, Intranet on things to do and other info on the computer, Games Consoles for all ages, Tele's with DVD players in every room to name but a very few) . The quality of Villa, furnishings and equipment were top notch and the place was immaculate from top to bottom. The management company around the corner were fantastic phoning to make sure things were going well through the visit and communication and information from Lynn and andy before and after the visit was outstanding. If you are looking for some where to stay in Orlando, whether there are two or ten of you i would highly recommend this Villa - Far Far Far better value, standard of accommodation and things to do around the house than the surrounding resort accommodation. thanks for a great holiday, Craig and Sarah

Having stayed in a different Orlando villas for the last 6 consecutive years, we were used to the same bland properties. Some were hired via Virgin Holidays, some privately. When we arrived at the house this year we literally gasped - a stylish retreat, beautifully furnished with every detail a delight! Classy, gated community with the reassurance of the keyless entry (no keys to lose, phew!).
Jacuzzi, PS3, WII, Games Room, Balcony, BBQ, PC with printer and free calls all made it a dream to return to after the parks - what comfort. The Tom-Tom sat-nav and walkie-talkies are genius and we were most jealous of the TV - it made our own 42" look like a portable when we arrived home.
To summarise, this property is worth every penny. It is luxury personified but warning - you won't want to leave and unless you live in a mansion, your own home will look teeny-tiny when you walk back in the door!! -

Our family had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful, spotlessly clean villa. Everthing (and more!) was provided to make our holiday a wonderful experience.
The friendly service from Lynne & Andy from our original enquiry to post holiday e-mail was second to none. The villa management company were also very friendly and efficient when we had to contact them.
The location of the villa is perfect; close to theme parks, restaurants, golf courses and supermarkets. The setting of the villa is also excellent with a view over a conservation area and the house is not overlooked by other villas.
The welcome pack provided on arrival was so appreciated by our tired and hungry group and was a very thoughtful touch not encountered in other villas we have previously rented . Andy & Lynne's online Florida guide was fantastic and gave us many ideas for places to visit and restaurants to try out.
All in all, our group agreed that it was by far the best villa we have rented and would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends. -

It was our first family vacation to Florida with Disney, Universal and Sea world on the agenda. We were beyond pleased with this beautiful home and it's amenities. The owners and rental agancy were a pleasure to deal with during our planning and stay. The home is new and very clean with a fabulous master suite for those parents seeking retreat after a long day of visiting attractions. Furnishings are very comfortable for relaxing. Our children enjoyed the game room, pool and provided games. Upon our arrival the rental agency had even placed bread, milk, snacks and drinks in the kitchen and refrigerator to get us started. Such a sweet thought. The location is very close to all parks and attractions. I highly recommend this home for your next visit to Florida.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at this villa and we can't wait to return. We spent hours trawling through the web for a villa in Florida, as 1st timers in Florida we had only heard of Davenport and Kissamee.
Our initial contact with the owners Andy and Lynn gave us confidence that this was a professionally run business but with a more personal touch. This was backed up before our departure with a full information pack. Everything was covered especially the very simple directions from the airport to the villa.
We had a fantastic time in Florida. The villa is spotless, extremely comfortable and is very conveniently placed for everything that Orlando has to offer. The villa has everything and more than you could ever need.
The free use of the PC, free international phone calls and the use of a pre-programmed car sat’ nav’ were just examples of the extra little touches that are provided.
The distance from Disney was about 10/15 minutes and the interstate 4 was only about 5 minutes so access was really good.
There are so many great points to this villa it's hard to mention them all, but I’m sure if you book Andy and Lynn’s house you will be delighted, it’s a true touch of class – we will go back.
If you want a happy and stress free holiday then this is the villa for you. Many thanks to Andy and Lynn for the use of you beautiful villa, you said we would have a great time in Florida and we did. -

A fantastic,luxurious family villa that comfortably sleeps 10 people.
The villa sits in a corner plot of a gated community that is not overlooked.
As soon as you enter the property you are overwhelmed by the size and grandeur of the villa.
The attention to detail is second to none as everything you could possibly require is catered for inside from the ps3 to the fantastic games room as to outside with the great swimming pool/jacuzzi.
The villa is an ideal base to visit all that disney has to offer as magic kingdom is 10-15 min away and easy reach of the i4.
lynn and andy did everything possible to make our stay a pleasant and memorable holiday and were only a phone call away if we had any questions and were only to happy to answer.
Overall it is a fantastic villa that went a long way in giving us a really great holiday and we thank lynn and andy for the use of their home. -

From the very first minute my wife and I came in contact with the Trish family we knew that this was a special occurance.
JOURNEY WITH US
Once my family and arrived in the Orlando airport we picked up our rental car and made our destination 2 TheShire. We had to call the property management to verify the address as our GPS wasn't picking up the location. We made it through the call and proceeded to TheShire.
What a beautiful place Florida is and especially the area where your home is located, the drive was so enjoyable after flying in from Waukegan, Illinois, "O the fresh air from the mid morning rain."
We proceed to TheShire passing ChampionsGate, we know that this is where we want to be in life as we previously vacationed a 2 months earlier in Florida off of Highway 27 at 228 Plumoso Loop. We pull into TheShire community and proceed 2 the gate and input the code which was provided 2 us.
WERE HERE
Let me say that we are spending 11 days and 10 nights here my family of 4 but I could be off by a day or so. We get out of the car, "O MY," exactly what I've been hoping for all along...
What a beautiful home, my daughter insisted that she be the 1st one in and so be it, she was. The home is "Ridiculous," I mean "A True Masterpiece."
We venture through noticing everything, the entry way, the garage, the kitchen, dining room, sitting area, TV room, making our way over 2 the pool, "This is heaven and there is a God."
The house of our dreams in right under our feet and over our heads, we make our way back in racing each other 2 run up the stairs as the best is yet to come. Tears breaking down our faces, we stop and just marvel at entry way 2 the Master Bedroom 2 da left and Guest Room 2 da Right, going 1st 2 da Master we open the balcony patio doors and 2 our surprise the most beautifulest decorated patio a true piece of "WonderfulLand."
This is the most beautifulest house that I have ever seen. My family needs more room to type.. -

An amazing experience that has to be seen to be believed.
The pre holiday package was great and left my wife and I with high hopes, we arrived in orlando thinking is it going to be a let down or will it be okay.
Well let me just say you get what you pay for this home delivered quality, security, ideal location and above all absolute luxury.
The owners have added lots of extras to the house and made it an excellent place to spend time.
The house does not give the impression that the owners have bought a complete furniture pack, but have individually picked the right furniture for each room.
Lets say I could live there.
The property is a credit to the owners and I hope they continue to give it the hands on attention it deserves -

This holiday home is immaculate, it is short of nothing you need to have a wonderful holiday. The location is perfect, a short 15 mins drive gets you to the Disney parks whilst there are plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants within a 5 min drive. The area is (just like the house)beautifully kept and you feel totally safe. The parks etc are amazing but knowing you are returning to such a lovely property with a great pool & spa to relax in is the icing on the cake. Andy & Lynn are very easy to liaise with, giving lots of helpful tips & advice, we are all looking forward to returning to Florida and this house in particular. Book it - you won't regret it.
