Beautiful resort. Nice pool with fun Wednesday activities for kids. Conveniently located to theme parks and restaurants. Liked the unit floorplan and larger beds for adults. Don't need twin beds for my family. Resort management very friendly and helpful.
Didn't like the trash box on the front porch of the unit. The box is small but the trash bags were very large. The cleaning service should provide smaller trash bags to encourage daily trask take out. -

Stayed in this property for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. It's a great place very spacious with all home comforts at a very reasonable price, it was much better than staying in a hotel. It was also very nice to meet Bill the owner who was staying at his other property next door for a few days. I would definately recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay again in the future.

This was our second year in this unit and we were very satisfied both years and look foward to several more visits to come.The unit is amazing and the staff on site were wonderful.It is centrally located to all area attractions and to come back after being running all day was just like being at home but actually more relaxing.The pool is gigantic and nice movie room and game room for the kids.Great experience again.

I travel to Orlando at least twice a year and this is the only place I stay at. You just can't beat it for proximity to the Occc, Disney, Universal, etc. On top of that, the amenities on the resort are fantastic and everything is beautifully maintained and looked after.

So glad we found this!
It was close enough to the various theme parks to ensure we got there early for gates opening, but far enough away to feel that we'd 'escaped' at the end of the day.
House was lovely - very well furnished and appointed. Welcome pack was much appreciated.
Owner was very attentive, and called to see that all was OK.
We didn't use it much, but the pool and clubhouse would have been very useful if we'd been staying longer. -

The condo was very clean and spacious it was great for our family of 5. Location was very close to sea world and aquatics and a very short drive to universal and Disney. Pool was nice and a short walk and there was a great walking/running trail around the lake. The only thing we missed was an outdoor balcony or patio to sit on, but we spent most of our time at the pool and parks anyway.

This villa is absolutely stunning. I've stayed in this exact villa several times. It feels like home yet still a vacation. 3 floors of absolute bliss. From the check-in crew to the housekeepers...pure heaven.

The unit was everything it was purported to be and then some. The location was so convenient to everything we planned on doing and was exceptionally easy to get in and out. The management company was prompt in helping to take care of providing items on the inventory list that wasn't present when we got there. The rooms were large and cozy and there was a lot of privacy between bedrooms. The common area was large and the seating was comfortable. About the only downside I can see to this location is the parking is tight. Didn't matter to us as we only had 1 car for the group, but if there had been 2 or more cars it would have been hard to park.

While we didn't get to enjoy the resort, the townhouse/ condo was terrific...easy to get to, plenty of space and especially convenient to the Orange County Convention Center and Universal Studios.

We were very pleased wth our stat at the townhome. Everything about it, made us feel very comforable and relaxed. The beds were wonderful after a day at Disney. It was so nice to be able to relax. We will certainly pass along to friends and family how pleased we were. Highly recommend!

I have to be honest. I knew the property before I rented, and its location is incomparable. However, and this was probably my fault, I thought it was an apartment; it's not, it's a town home and getting to the last floor with my bags was a pain (heavy bags, lots of stairs). Great space, great clubhouse but be aware there are apartments on site.

Thank you for your comments on the location of Vista Cay and the level of service provided by my property management company. They truly are second to none. I am sorry you were "befuddled" by the type of unit you booked after arrival. The Rental Agreement and advertisement website that you used clearly stated this was a townhome unit.
To be clear to all potential renters at Vista Cay, there are no on-site apartments. There are 3 bed/3.5 bath townhomes (3 floors of living space that include stairs-each bedroom has its own private bathroom) and condominiums that vary in size. The largest are 2097 sq. ft. and the smallest are 1100 sq. ft. All condos only have 2 bathrooms.

It was very close to shopping, my conference location and convenient to restaurants. We did not use any of the amenities due to work schedules but the amenities looked very nice. Much nicer than staying in a hotel.

The day we checked in our family, we felt at home and everything was better than advertised! The service was great but the rental property was even better. Our Family spent more time enjoying the comforts of the propery and the surrounding area like the pool and game room facilities than wanting to go to the various theme parks. We were so appreciative when the owner of the property called to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was that extra touch of customer service. If you need a place to vacation and have all the comforts of home then this is the right place.

Photos of apartment do not do it justice. Great kitchen and facilities. Management staff were very helpful and immediately responsive on a couple of minor points.
Location is excellent for Universal and the outlet malls and Disney is an easy drive.
For the price this was an excellent choice and great value. -

This vacation home was very nice. It had plenty of room and everyone had their own space. It is conveniently located close to all the attractions in Orlando and would recommend this home to anyone visiting the Orlando area. Having taken the family to Orlando on several occasions, this by far was the most enjoyable because of our accommodations. The condo was clean, comfortable and affordable. I'll never stay in a hotel room again with the family after this experience. Bill was great to work with and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I go back.

From beginning to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Bill's vacation home. It was so helpful that there is a 24 hour management company. The unit we stayed in was beautifully furnished, and the beds were exceedingly comfortable. There was a problem while we were there, and the management company responded immediately and followed up with us to make sure we were taken care of appropriately.
The resort is very convenient to Universal and Disney as well as the interstates and highways. Unfortunately we didn't have time to investigate the resort's pool and other facilities, but based on our stay I'm sure they are great too.
Our family hopes to return here again next year! -

Loved the location. Townhouse was wonderful. Everything we needed was there to have a great experience. The only downside of our experience was the taxi(?) driver who worked out of the clubhouse. We felt that he overcharged us and then he was very unpleasant when we told him we were using other means of transportation.

As far as the the man working out of the clubhouse (George), he runs a car service versus a taxi service thus he charges higher fees. I called the Vista Cay Master Association president immediately after reading your comments about his "unpleasantness" and she assured me she would speak to George about this. This type of service/attitude will not be tolerated at Vista Cay. My advice to all guests would be to call a local taxi service and the fees will be much lower. Thanks again Mary-Claire.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. A 5 minute drive to the gates of Universal and 10 mins to the gates of Disney. Very close to I drive and its great range of bars and restaurants.

This unit exceeded all of our expectations, and Bill, the owner, cares deeply about his guests' satisfaction. My family called me a hero for finding such a comfortable place for us to stay on our Spring Break, and even my in-laws were impressed! Bill and the Millenium management staff were extremely responsive and took care of everything, all we had to do was ask and it was done. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

We chose Vista Cay because of it's proximity to Universal, Seaworld, and Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Mr. Maloney was very kind and pleasant, and made the rental process easy. He contacted us during our stay to be sure things were going well, and encouraged us to call the management office as much as we needed to to ensure that our stay was up to par. Traffic between VC and Universal was very light, and access to Univ simple. There is a Publix nearby, as are many restaurants. (We loved agave azul north of Universal.) The management office was easy to find, and it was staffed by friendly folks. When we got to the townhouse we could not gain entry because the key code we were given did not work. We called management and they had someone over within 10 minutes to let us in and properly set the lock. The kitchen of the townhouse had upgrades, the rest was what we consider standard. We were disappointed that the washer and dryer was located inside a closet in the downstairs bedroom--very inconvenient and we likely would not have chosen this unit had we known that in advance, as we pack lightly and launder as needed on these trips. Towels were scarce. The policy (as we learned from management) is 1 set (towel,wash cloth, hand towel) per person--a stretch if you do parks, pool, dining out all in one day. We were a party of 8 and were provided about 5 towels, 6 hand towels, and 3 wash cloths. Management brought over a few more bath towels, but we went shopping for linens so we could have enough, and so that we wouldn't have to do laundry (in the bedroom) twice a day on our vacation.

I have spoken to my property management company about the amount of towels that are placed in the unit for the guest's use and that aspect should improve. As far as pool towels, they can be gotten at the clubhouse. You just have to leave a deposit for each towel and when the towel is returned the deposit is returned. I have again asked my management company to do a better job informing guests of this service. I agree with you on the washer and dryer location. This is where the original builder put them in all of the townhomes as this room was orinally designated as a den, but I converted it to a 3rd bedroom. I have planned (when I can find the time) to move them into the garage. Again, thank you for your review and comments. What a wonderful townhome. Such a spacious and comfortable place to stay with my family. The home was immaculate. The clubhouse and pool were a hit with my children, especially the game room! The townhome was located in a great area and was easy to get to all attractions. Hopefully we will make it back to the Orlando area and be able to stay here again.

We needed to cancel after booking due to health issues. And Bill was very easy to deal with. He did his best to work with us and was able to re-book his rental and then even provided us our deposit back.
Although we were not able to actually take advantage of the rental, we hope to do so in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Rather than being crammed into a hotel room, we had 3 very spacious bedrooms and 3.5 baths. We drove to Orlando and the ability to have some space, was desperately needed.
Townhouse is lovely and beautifully decorated. Very convenient to Universal Studios.
We would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying at this townhouse twice a year for several years. It is convenient to the Orlando Convention Center without having to deal with the traffic of International Blvd. The floor plan is great for business associates and family since it allows privacy and a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The townhouse is well equipment and has very nice furnishings.

This unit was a wonderful alternative to a hotel. Mr. Mahoney was a delight to work with, and the unit itself was clean and very comfortable. The only problem we experienced was the lack of pots -there was only one very small skillet - impossible to cook anything for 5 people. However, the service company was very responsive to any requests. I would definitely book Mr. Mahoney's unit again.

Our group from work rented 2 units in December while in town for a convention.
Vista Cay is less than a half mile from the Orange County Convention Center making transportation to and from the show a very pleasurable experience. There's a Publix Grocery Store right next door as well as many restaurants within a very short drive.
The units themselves are big, bright and clean. We had 3 people in each house. All of us had our own large bedroom as well as bathroom which allowed for ample privacy when desired. The living room / dining room and kitchen allowed us to have a great place to hang out and unwind after the show. If we were to have stayed in a hotel, we would have been stuck in a bar or hotel lobby all night. It proved to be a great team building experience. Everything you need is provided from towels to bed sheets, coffee mugs to wine glasses. Checking in was very easy with the office providing everything we required in a very timely fashion. Accepting credit card payments also makes it easy to book and submit for your expense report. Above all the price is unbeatable, you get great value no matter what you compare it to. All of us would recommend this as a fantastic alternative to another boring hotel stay. Thank you Bill

The owner Bill is an excellant communicator. He will even check on you throughout your stay. The condo is exactly as pictured and priovdes plenty of pace. Grocery and resturants are at every entrance in each direction. It was simple to feed the kids a hearty breakfast before the parks. Disney is 10 minutes away...you can watch Sea Worlds fireworks in the pool. We truely enjoyed our stay. The property is well kept...superb service. We will be back. The kids had a ball. The amenities, game room and pool, first class.

My husband and I, plus another couple, stayed at the townhouse while attending a convention. It was perfect - perfect location to the convention center; close to a grocery store; perfect location to the tourist sites; easy access to freeway; convenient to airport. And the townhouse? Beautiful with all the amenities one needs to live away from home. We would definitely recommend this place to stay. Next time we're in Orlando, we'll stay here again.
