This was our first time renting a house so we were not sure what to expect. We stayed at the Villa for 5 days. It was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Just as pictured/described. A wonderful house, with everything you could ever need for an extended stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the linens were well stocked, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Great communication with Steve, and the property manager was wonderful too. We needed a little help with the back door (user error:) ) and he was there in a flash and answered all our questions. The only downfall for us was that the game room. It was in the garage and did not appear to have aC. The week we were there the temps were in the upper 90's which made it too warm to use in the evening. It looked lovely, but for the week we were there it was not used. Overall a wonderful stay and will recommend to all our family and friends for future stays!! Thank you!!!

What a fantastic villa. Just what we wanted a great pool, ample space and much needed air con. It was a bonus to have the games room and ice machine as it was hot hot hot and too hot for some. There was 8 people in our party and all would recommend this villa to family and friends. The villa is far enough out from the hustle and bustle but not too far from parks, restaurants and shopping. Tennis courts and golf course on the complex and bars, supermarket and food places a comfortable 15 minute walk away. Already saving for the next visit.

My family really enjoyed this home, especially since we were looking for a quiet location. This home did it. The layout of the house worked really well, with all of the bedrooms in the back, which meant no street noise. The master was away from the pool, so kids could jump in and play around without waking anyone up. The backyard was very quiet - no neighbors behind you. There was some background noise from the highway, but you don't really notice it. The pool was great - and warm. My sister-in-law stayed at a hotel and their pool was cold - they were amazed they could walk right into ours.
The location of the home was great. 10 minutes from Disney - 20 minutes from Universal. There is a Publix grovery less than two minutes away and a 24-hour Wal-Mart 5 minutes away (the Wal-Mart is not pleasant and usually overcrowded) - SuperTarget is 10 minutes away. Highlands Reserve is a more upscale development, and has been around a little longer. A number of residents own homes there and they tend to be a quieter, more reserved bunch.
Only complaints. The beds were noisy and it looked like it had been a while since it had been dusted in the less high-traffic spots.
Final comment - Steve the owner - great guy! We will consider renting this home again in the future and have already recommended it to friends. Steve was easy to work with, responded promptly and worked with us on several requests. He addressed any concerns and was upfront about everything. Again, great guy. -

Mary Poppins villa was a real treat - set in Highlands Reserve Golf Club it was immaculately looked after, just like the course itself.
The villa was spacious and comfortable with everything you would need and expect from a holiday in Florida. Located half an hour from Universal and 15mins from Disney it was an ideal setting to escape the chaos and excitement of the parks and only an hour from Tampa/Clearwater it was perfect for us.
Best part was definitely the manicured gardens of Highlands Reserve and any request we had was immediately seen to. Thanks Steve - it's even inspired us to look for our own Florida getaway!

The Mary Poppins villa was a great place to stay for a vacation. The price was right and it was very centrally located. A grocery store just about 1 mile down the road and the Disney parks are all within 1/2 hour of the house (15 mins if you don't hit traffic). Everything was clean and prepared for my wife and I when we arrived. The pool was one of the best parts about the house; very private and welcoming after a hot Florida day. The master bed is way comfy and the master shower was amazing. If you need a vacation home near Disney parks and other attractions, you need to stay at the Mary Poppins Villa. Hands down one of the greatest experiences I've had. The owner was very easy to work with and helped everything go smoothly.

had heard that it was luxurious but did not expect
it to be as good as it was. Everything was
provided for and the pool was wonderful for either
swimming, playing with the kids or just sitting
around and enjoying a glass of wine whilst chilling
out in the evening. It is in a very well kept
resort (Highlands Reserve) which is only 20 mins
from Disney, so close enough to get there easily
but far enough away to escape the crowds at the end
of the day. Once again this is an outstanding
villa from which to base your holiday.

Thank you for the use of your Villa. The Master bedroom was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us in the house. We didn't figure out the sliding door alarm right away but we worked around it and did get to enjoy the pool some. The weather was great and the location is very convenient. Thank you for a lovely place to stay.

What a terrific find! After years of expensive and inconvenient Orlando vacation stays, to be at Mary Poppins villa in Davenport was ideal. There is everything you would need for a luxury home-away- from-home and the location and ammenities are first
rate. We especially appreciated the pool and the partially-covered lannai,which meant that no matter the weather we were able to make full use of
the beautifully appointed home. We can't wait to visit next year.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Villa at end of October. Location was quiet, yet ideal for getting to and from the main parks quickly and easily. Given the time of year, the nights got dark quite early so it was a real advantage in the evenings to be staying somewhere well stocked with computer games, pool table, tv (with all sport channels), swimming pool etc. Certainly beats the hotel option hands down! Would not hesitate to go back.

We rented this villa for a week in mid-October 2009 and it is hard to imagine a better setup for the vacation we had planned. The location is excellent. We visited Disney (3 of the 4 parks) and Seaworld. We also saw some other sites nearby and one day we drove over to tour the Kennedy Space Center. The villa is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. My teenagers loved the Wii and the movies. The pool was nice and clean and I was surprised at how quiet the neighborhood was. Shopping (incl. Walmart) and restaurants are within 5 minutes away. This villa is a truly private “home away from home” and a wonderful place for a family vacation in Orlando. It’s also a great value. My wife says the “Mary Poppins Villa” was “practically perfect in every way”.

My wife & I rented this villa in the last week of September 2009. The location of the villa is great, only 15 mins from all of the Disney parks. A little bit further to Orlando, but only 20 mins or so.
2 mins down the road is a nice shopping precinct, just supermarket, take aways, etc, but more than enough to keep going. 5 mins away is a Walmart.
The Villa was fantastic, very clean with plenty of plates & cutlery, towels, etc.
There were only 2 of us staying, so only really used the main bedroom & en-suite.
Swimming Pool was really nice to have, relaxing after a day in the parks.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about the villa & would definitely recommend this to anybody staying in Orlando. -

We enjoyed a week at the villa last week, the villa is immaculately presented and extremely comfortable. Everything (and more) needed for the week was there. Location was handy for all the parks and malls (we had a rental car -15 mins or therabouts to magic kingdom), local shops & restaurants (within 1 mile) were good.

Our experience renting this home was very good. The home is furnished beautifully and has everything you could want or need. The house is very clean and comfortable and we had no issues or problems. The outdoors are also kept beautiful and we enjoyed the pool to cool off in the heat of the day.

We rented this holiday villa for 2 weeks in August 2009. The villa, which is located ideally for Disney, Universal and Orlando's other attractions was exceptionally comfortable and superly fitted out. The private pool was of a very good size and hugely welcome at the end of each day. The accommodation was of a very high standard with everything that might be needed available as standard. An outstanding holiday villa in all respects.

My family had a terrific time staying at your beautiful villa. This was our 4th time at Highland Reserve and the best. Your home is very clean and well maintained with all the comforts anyone could desire. My wife, Tracy, made similar comments in your guestbook at the villa but we are hesitant to say the same in your on-line guestbook as it will be harder to book in the future once word gets out (just kidding). The only complaint we had was having to leave this vacation home. We definitely want to return next year if we can.

Our family have just spent two wonderful weeks at the villa. This is without doubt the best villa we have ever stayed at and trust me, we have been to some gems across the world.
The villa is positioned in a superb location, close to the parks and set in a picturesque surroundings.
The accommodation is extensive plenty of room for everyone, the level and quality of the accommodation is without fault. Pictures online look great but wait until you get there
you will learn that the pictures online do not do it justice.
We would definitely recommend this villa in a heart beat - We'll be back next year. My advice is, to use a famous saying; book early to avoid disappointment!!!

This is a first class property. The furniture and decorating makes you think you are in a high end hotel. The pool was great site at the end of the day. The beds were VERY comfortable and kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I have stayed at other properties in Highland Reserve and can say without a doubt this is one of the best. Owner was also great to work with. Very plesant and helpful. Had a little problem hooking up to the internet when we arrived, and the rental company was there the same day to make sure we had things working. Great!!

we did not know what to expect. The accomadation was outstanding, all the rooms were large with TVs in. The pool was of first rate, so relaxing with Birds and Butterflys, flying past you would think you were in Heaven, the boys spent most mornings and evenings splashing around and having fun.The
games room was a great entertainment also with Pool, Darts, Table Tennis, never a dull moment with lots of laughter and fun, who could wish for more? This in my opinion is off the highest standard for a villa, My family and i will certainly be paying a further holiday visit, and guess where we be staying.
