I moved from Maine to Florida 8 years ago. When I return to visit, this is where I want to stay. There is plenty of room for friends and family. The Lodge is furnished perfectly, right down to linens,towels and dishes. Impeccably clean and nothing you could want for.
There are plenty of things to do to stay occupied; pool table, pinball, games, and of course the lake where you can swim, boat,fish, etc. The city of Ellsworth is close as is the coast in Bar Harbor and the acadia National Park.
The views are breathtaking and waking to the Loons calling is awesome. If I want my Florida friends to experience all that Maine has to offer, this is the place I will bring them.
Thank you Dave and ann for providing the "perfect" experience to make me feel at home. -

We have been going to Happy Days every summer for the last 7 years and it is my favorite place in the world. It has everything my family needs to have a perfect vacation getaway. The swimming is fantastic. The water is so clear and clean! We love to sit by the firepit each night and look at the stars and listen to the loons and the frogs. The kids love to explore outside and are always entertained inside on rainy days. The rec room is awesome! My husband says the bass fishing is great too! We will continue to come back every year!
P.S. We've come in the fall and winter too. This lodge is great any time of year!
