We stayed in Ottawa with the intention of taking in some of the Winterlude activities, tour the museums, and to do some skiing in Gatineau Park. This condo was well situated for all three. An easy walk to the Parliament buildings, the National Gallery, several museums, the Byward Market, as well as the Rideau Canal for skating. If you're energetic, you can even walk across the Ottawa River into Quebec to visit the outstanding Museum of Civilization (highly recommended). It was about a 25 minute drive to the trailheads in the Gatineau.
The check-in/check-out procedure was a bit clumsy, but in the end everything worked out well. One note of caution if you have a car - especially a big one. The designated parking spot in the underground is really hard to get into, even with a small vehicle, and the turning radius to get down to the lower levels (P5) of the lot is very, very tight. We considered just parking on the street to avoid the possibility of scratching our rental SUV.
Although it's advertised as a suite for up to three, the third person would have to sleep on a very hard futon-like sofa, and there are only two dining chairs. It's really a place for one person or a very compatible couple. The photos make it look larger than it is, which wasn't a problem for us, but may be for some.
