Ned Darcy's Cottage is a wonderful detached cottage 2.5 miles from Oughterard in County Galway. This quality cottage has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, tucked next to a mezzanine balcony up a bespoke wrought iron spiral staircase. The open plan living area has a modern kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with lovely pot-bellied woodburning stove. Outside is a pleasant garden and off road parking for two cars. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

This is a delightful cottage, especially for couples although it can accommodate 4 using a bed settee.
It is in excellent order with a great kitchen to cook in, which is not always the case in holiday cottages.
The cottage has been rebuilt from the ground up and everything in it is high quality. It has oil central heating and a woodburning stove and we were warm and cosy during a really cold spell in March. We could not have made a better choice and it was excellent value for money. The spiral staircase might not be suitable for some people with disabilities. The lovely owners live nearby and were really helpful. The area is stunning and we had a wonderful week in Ned Darcy's cottage. Thank you and best wishes to everyone concerned in the running of this beautiful cottage. -

Everything about this property is positive,the location,the decor - just lovely,would definitely recommend - it's only 5 minutes drive from Oughterard town where there are shops & places to eat,also plenty to see in Galway & if fishing is your thing then lots of lakes.A very family friendly location.
