This was our summer gateway, we wanted to stay in Kelowna first but after reading excellent reviews about this place decided to stay at Okanagan Romantic Suite.
The check in was quick and easy, after we settled the bill, we hardly ever saw the owners. Ian is very helpful, friendly and polite and he is always available on his phone if you need anything.
The suite is very clean and has everything that you can possibly think of! The veiws are amazing, you wake up to a beautiful lake and after you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the patio again facing the lake.
Since we were there when it was very hot, we enjoyed the beaches a lot. They are only 5 mins away, very convenient, and they don't get very busy at all. There is a small grocery store in Oyama, but Vernon is only 15 mins away and it has Safeway and Superstore.
The only negative feedback I have about this is that if you want to go out for a nice romantic dinner you'd have to go to Kelowna, and that's about 30 mins away and the drive is a bit busy becuase of some constructions.
This is a great suite and if you just want to get away from the city and relax and enjoy yourself this is a place for you. We would definitely stay there again.

We were so impressed by this suite - it surpassed our expectations in every way. Everything is brand new, incredibly modern, and all of the little details you hope for were included (nice touch with the rose pedals on the bath tub). We have already recommended this beautiful and romantic getaway to several of our friends as the perfect place to come with a great view. Close to Winfield / Kelowna and very friendly to deal with. A+ on every level!

We really enjoyed our stay here. With 5 kids at home we were looking for a romantic getaway for just the 2 of us. This is the perfect setting to reconnect. The details, from the heated floors, 2 person tub, huge 2 headed shower, quality linens, and memory foam bed made this suite, no detail was left out. The best part of this suite is by far the location and view. We were close enough to Vernon and Winfield to enjoy the stores etc, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity, nature and view. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some time away. We will be back for sure.

As promised, this suite was truly romantic; from the Tempur Pedic kingsize bed (my first time on this type of bed and it was extremely comfortable) and soaker bathtub (that can accommodate two), strategically placed in front of the wall-length window overlooking the Kalamalka Lake, to the oversized shower with two shower-heads. It's a home away from home; very comfortable with high-end furnishings (better than a high-end luxury hotel). I was originally concerned about privacy since it's attached to the main house, but it was very private and quiet and our host, Ian, was gracious and welcoming. The location was great. Its right off of HWY 97 with a short drive to either Vernon or Kelowna (in opposite directions) and it sits near an isthmus that divides Kalamalka Lake and Wood Lake. There's even a nice little beach, Kaloya, that sits on the island about 2 minutes away. It's a gem; I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Situated overlooking the beautiful Kalamaka lake sits this high end, romantic suite that is just perfect for a romantic getaway. The highlight for myself was the huge soaker tub that overlooked the lake, the views are just stunning. With that you are surround by all the luxuries of a fire place that sits inbetween the bath and gigantic bed that sends you to the most comfotable and peaceful sleep.
The kitchen was most useful and I loved the option of outside eating on your patio.
All in all a great and memorable stay, I will returning when ever I need some R&R;. -

Rented the suite for two months, as my first rental, it was extremely smooth, owner is very helpful and is very thoughtful. Bathroom is unbelievable, bed is nice memory foam. And all the appliances work flawlessly. Close to both major towns, Vernon and Kelowna, and Oyama has a nice little general store with everything you'd need to finish your meal, or to rent a movie. In-floor heat works great, love waking up in the night to get a drink of water and having a nice warm floor. And the gas fireplace is very cozy, and the rocks hold the heat long after the flames have been put out.
