Paradiso is a 5 bedroom 5 1/2 bathroom villa located high up on the hillside in Oyster Pond. There are excellent views of Dawn Beach, Oyster Pond and the Atlantic Ocean. This villa is very spacious and is the perfect vacation spot for a large group or it can be rented as a 2 bedroom for a very private holiday.

The secluded Dawn Beach is a short trip down the hill and is a prime spot for swimming, snorkeling and watersports. You can spend you days enjoying daysails to nearby islands, scuba diving, boating, fishing, shopping, casinos and the best dining in the Caribbean. The villa is located near Philipsburg (Dutch side capital) and is on...ly a short drive to Marigot (French side capital).

This villa is fully furnished and has a complete kitchen with all necessary amenities. All bedrooms have A/C as well as the living room. Paradiso has TVs with cable, CD and stereo player. The villa has a beautiful pool, Jacuzzi and a gym.

  Avoid Trouble-Plagued Paradiso

  I would avoid trouble-plagued Paradiso villa where our family of nine spent a week of our 2011 Christmas holiday. It appears that it is to the financial advantage of the owner and the local manager, re/MaX Island Properties, to avoid maintenance expenses. We spent many frustrating hours expediting repairs yet many problems remained when we departed. Apparently the water line from the central supply had been disconnected for non-payment, and the villa’s water system failed during our stay – no showers, no dishwashing, carried buckets of pool water to flush toilets, repaired after 24 hours only after the serviceman was paid by the local manager (serviceman had not been paid for work performed six months prior.) Many problems existed when we arrived – leaking pool required regular refill with cold water making pool and Jacuzzi water cool and preventing the frequent use we had anticipated, air conditioner in one bedroom did not work (fixed six days later after repairman paid), DVD player for home theatre system did not function (not fixed, replaced six days later with one from a bedroom), broken shower fixed with an inferior part, dishwasher did not clean thoroughly, roaches on kitchen counter, some electrical cords were hazardous and unsafe because of exposed wires or sections that had been improperly patched with non-electrical tape, door louvers were missing in one bedroom preventing privacy, sink stopper was broken in one bathroom and others missing, some lights did not function, several vertical blinds in bedrooms could not be opened interfering with the represented views, lower level bedrooms had musty odor, many other cosmetic issues. Rental included six days of maid service but we were told we would receive only four and had to pay extra for the additional two. Although power failures could happen often, fortunately we had none because the transfer switch for the backup electrical generator had burned out and the owners/managers had decided not to replace it because of the expense.

  Paradiso- a lovely villa

  Paradiso feels like home...after 2 weeks there.
  It was clean, and spacious. The air conditioners worked and the beds were very comfy
  The pool is beautiful.
  
  The caretaker on the premises was very nice, if not too too energetic.
  The shower in the master suite didnt work
  The gill had no propane
  alot of the lights were broken
  The Jacuzzi in the pool does not work
  all video games are inoperable
  Lots of strange and scary bugs...
  The downstairs bedrooms are mildewy and leaky when it rains.
  The gym is a 6ftx6ft mold covered closet with barely operable machines
  Had 2 different maids...which one do you tip??
  The kitchen was nice, but you have to make do with a Jenn air grill and a cooktop with 2 working burners.
  
  Ok thats it.
  I will go back again, however if you are going to use more than 2 bedrooms,you may want to look around a little more.
  
  Be advised, the traffic in SXM is horrendous...and Dawn Beach is (with traffic) about 2 hours from the airport...
