Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third has a queen bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as a/c units. The master bedroom has cable TV. The master bedroom opens directly on to the pool deck. This beautiful villa has a private pool that has great views of the ocean. Beach Daze is perfectly situated on the Dutch St. Maarten side, only a short distance from Marigot, capital of French St. Martin and just 15 minutes from Philipsbu...rg, the Dutch side capital. The Dutch side of the island offers you great casinos and fantastic nightlife while the French side has wonderful dining for your pleasure. This is a non-smoking villa! Bedrooms: Master Bedroom King Bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom, safe, flat screen TV, DVD player, Cable TV , bedroom opens onto pool deck.   We cannot say enough about this property. We stayed at Beach Daze april 20/2013 for a week. My wife and I have travelled the Carribean many times, but we have never had the views that were experienced here, they were absolutely breathtaking.. The view and the interior pictures of the rooms were exactly as the pictures show. The villa was very clean and extremely well equiped, right down to a number of beach towels and a large cooler. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the bedrooms were quite roomy, and beautifully funished, each with their own full bathroom. The villa was also beautifully decorated, wih a beachy theme. A previous review said that the couch smelled mouldy, and there were cockroaches but we do not feel the same as we did not have this experience. I have not written a review prior to this stay and did not want people to believe the previous review that said this property it was unsafe. It is a gated community with strict access. We were not even allowed to drive past the security gate the week prior to staying here. There is also a nightly patrol for added security. If you use common sense and properly lock up the villa at night and when you leave during the day, you should have not problems. We did have a problem with the safe locking mechanism and a toilet but both issues were resolved very quickly after advising the property manager Steve. He was great! The problems occurred during our visit so there was no way owners could have fixed them prior to our arrival. As an added special and thoughtful touch, complimentary coffee,soft drinks,beer,wine,bottled water,snacks,bread, jam, fresh fruit, crackers and cheese, etc etc was stocked in the kitchen prior to our arrival so that if we didn't have time to shop the first day, we had some basic supplies to hold us over. Wow that was a very nice surprise. Not sure if this always happens, but we were so very pleased. A cell phone was fully charged and provided for local calls. This came in handy when needing to call the maintennce person to repair the safe as we were provded with his direct number upon arrival. The beds were very very comfortable, the outdoor patio had 4 loungers, and 6 chairs and a table. The pool is a plunge pool, perhaps not the best for smaller children, but was perfect or adults and older kids to cool off. The Villa also had a BBQ grill which we used for a couple of meals, was clean and useable, not dirty like a previous review stated. Overall we absolutely loved this villa and would definately recommend it. It is evident that they take pride in keeping this villa in high standards, and both Steve (property manager) and the cleaning lady Sonya were friendly and really made us feel well taken care of and welcome.

  We were robbed.

  We arrived at the house on December 24th with my wife and three children. On the second night we went out for dinner and when we returned, my iphone and our 2 ipads were stolen. We locked the house (or so we thought) but they found a way in. We had to leave the property because my kids were very scared and felt unsafe to sleep. We moved to the Westin for a night and then to a property in Oyster Pond.
  Unless you want to have the security shutters always down and miss the view and the breeze, i would choose to stay at another property. This property is unsafe and i felt lucky we only lost electronics.
