The Arches is immaculately appointed with beautiful, sturdy, Caribbean wicker furniture throughout. With the split villa design you can vacation with your friends and yet have a total sense of privacy.

This place was so wonderful we decided to come back with friends after staying here for our honeymoon in June 2010. Secluded, spacious, breathtaking, clean and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. The sunrise (although near 5 am!) is worth getting up early for , comes right over the water's edge. The pool and landscaping make the villa hard to leave. The amenities in the kitchen are great. You can cook a full proper meal if needed. The care takers are very attentive with their work, the place is always spotless. I really cant say enough about this place and we are all looking forward to visiting again in august.

This villa, The arches, was very well appointed and maintained. It is on the Dutch side. It was located midway up a mountain, facing Oyster Pond, which made for a little bit of a steep drive. The view was so worth it. We felt totally secluded and had plenty of privacy. We had a twilight dinner poolside one evening that was awesome, early morning swim at the pool but we were all so happy just gazing at the view. I just can't say enough about it. You could even walk to the beach, no prob. The staff were very attentive and hospitable. A few wonderful waterfront restaurants with great food and atmosphere. Casino and dancing close by. This was one of our best vacations ever and actually we returned to St Maarten for x-mas last year but experienced a different villa which was also nice but did not have the spectacular view. The arches was very reasonably priced, too. Looking forward to our next visit!!!
