The Marlin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit on a lush tropical property and just 3 homes from the sandy Pacific Beach. This unit is in the far end ground floor unit in a four unit complex. The entire building was just remodeled in the summer of 2007 and tastefully furnished with all new furniture, beds, appliances, linens, dishes, gas BBQs, patio furniture, etc.

** If you are traveling with another family or larger group, please consider renting 2 or more of the units in this 4 unit complex. All units are 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and can sleep up to 5 people in each unit. If you rent all 4 units together your family of 20 will have individual spa...ce and privacy, but be right there on the same property and able to enjoy quality family time together. The Marlin has large windows on East and West sides. The living room offers a leather couch and love seat, flat screen television with full cable channels and DVD player. The wireless Internet and digital phone line insures that you can keep in touch with work and family and look up what to do and where to go in San Diego if you bring a laptop with you.

The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with granite countertops, maple cabinets, travertine flooring, dishwasher, oven and stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, juicer, etc. There is also a pass-through/breakfast bar going from the kitchen into the living room with barstools and granite counter.

The bathroom is a full bath with tub and shower, granite counter tops, beautiful maple cabinets, and travertine flooring. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, full closet, dresser, bedside lamps, alarm clock, ceiling fan and flat screen television with full cable channels. The second bedroom has 2 twin size beds, full closet, dresser, alarm clock and ceiling fan.

In the closet, there is an additional single size futon mat for additional guests. All linens, including sheets, blankets, bed spreads, bath towels, beach towels, etc. are provided with your rental, excluding linens for the futon mat.

All of our rentals are spotlessly clean, well maintained and we have tried to provide everything you will need for a fun and comfortable vacation at the beach. You will not have to fight for parking at the beach as a private garage is provided for each unit (SUVs or oversize vehicles may not fit) with new garage doors and automatic garage door openers.

There is also a free shared laundry room and a large shared patio area with gas BBQ, tables with umbrellas and chairs and lounge chairs. We also provide adult size beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler so you can enjoy the area the way we locals do. For families with small children, we provide a high chair and pak-n-play crib. Upon request we can also provide additional baby items such as a full size crib, jogging stroller, bed rails, noise monitor, etc.

In addition, we offer full concierge services. You can order discounted attraction tickets, food and dairy products to be delivered to the home prior to your arrival. We can set dinner reservations or tee times for you, and we can help you with planning any other activity or special request you may have.Room DescriptionBedroom 1 has 1 Queen

  30 second walk to PB break. Short bike ride to everywhere. Clean, updated and good value. Only con is the shared outdoor space if your looking for privacy but other than that you can't beat the location at a decent value. Would go back on a second.

  Just what we needed

  We stay in lots of different Vrbo units. This one was very good. The unit was clean, the location quiet and the property was well-appointed. Any easy walk to the beach, boardwalk and beer (microbrew) made the Marlin a great getaway.

  Good Beach Location -- Adequate Digs

  Great location for beach, park, boardwalk, pier and town.
  Interior adequate but nothing special. Mattress in MB very noisy and the closets were filled with baby gear -- which are in the way if you don't have a baby. Quiet street with good parking. Very clean. Good for a family. Ironing board was standing up in closet and would not go down.

  The unit was very clean and comfortable and very close to the beach. You can't see the water but you can hear the waves from inside the unit. They make sure all that you need to enjoy the beach and surrounding area is there for you. We had a few items that needed attention when we arrived, the were addressed within less than an hour! Beware of the garage it's narrow and if cars are parked on the opposite side of the alley it's difficult to get a large car in. I would recommend hanging the bikes and beach gear to make more room for parking. Our full sized rental barely fit, once the car is inside there is barely room for the driver to get out of the car and even less room between the car and garage door to actually get out of the garage.

  Great Beach House in Pacific Beach

  We got to the beach house after 2 weeks of intense partying and travel around LA and Vegas, and this was just what we needed, a great clean tidy place that had a home feel to it, everything you need is there, we were able to walk to the beach the shops enjoy the sites and come back to a place with all the comforts you need TV great furniture clean comfortable beds.
  
  Pacific Beach as a whole was great and this beach house was in a great location.
  
  I hope to visit again someday.. I love PB!
