Want to get away from Bali’s tourist hordes of Kuta, Seminyak, & even Ubud? Then come to THE GREEN ROOM, one of our 2 brand new BALI MIMBA VILLA units, just next to Padangbai, Bali's charming and still "undeveloped" fishing village on the pristine East Coast.

The GREEN ROOM is a Balinese-style luxury unit with air con & hot water that sits beside a traditional "Bale" (a Hindu-Bali pagoda for relaxation), next to a 6 meter private pool, right in the middle of a rural banana & coconut field, 5 minutes from Padangbai's famous "White Sand Beach" (actually in Mimba Village). Perfect for quiet relaxation, intimacy, & "chillin'" on Bali's n...atural & still-pristine East Coast. (1-2 hours from Denpasar's airport). We are also within short walking distance of a completely "naked" and sprawling "black sand beach", entirely unpopulated by humans!

The GREEN ROOM is an independent unit next to Bali Mimba Villa's "WHITE HOUSE", also available for rent at the same price. Please inquire seperately on FlipKey or ask for a 20% DISCOUNT if you want to rent BOTH UNITS at the same time.

The GREEN ROOM has two Twin Beds which are brand new and comfy. The main living-bedroom is air conditioned, and there is a separate bathroom (w/ a hot water shower) and a kitchen that has a new frig and cookware to prepare meals at the Villa.

Our super manager/concierge, Made (maDay), is available 24/7, along with a full-time staff person for all your needs. Staff is available to hire for cleaning, cooking, food shopping, babysitting, massage, scuba diving, and anything else one’s heart desires.

Both overnight & long term stays are available. Long term stays are particularly suitable to retireees or pensioners.

The GREEN ROOM is situated in green & rural Mimba Village, adjacent to Padangbai, Bali’s small east coast fishing village & main ferry hub for points east in Indonesia. As such, there is no major “development”, like in the Kuta-Seminyak “strip”, near the airport, loaded with t-shirt shops, pollution, & wall to wall traffic. In fact that's what's so perfectly grounding & restorative about the natural setting at Bali Mimba Villa.

Yes, there are good restaurants catering to tourists in Padangbai, great diving, beautiful beaches, and lots to see and do amongst the Balinese locals, with their almost daily Hindu-Bali ceremonies to which you will be more than welcome. But come to our the GREEN ROOM & our Bali Mimba Villa to relax, re-charge your batteries, and to "get away from it all" and be with friends & family.

Our main man, Made (Ma-Day), can pick you up at the Denpasar international airport, check you in personally at the Villa, and be your personal tour guide to Balinese life and culture: everything from traditional wedding ceremonies, to Barong ballets & "kecak" monkey chants, to local night markets, to scuba diving & snorkeling, to multi-day trips eco-adventuring to Ubud, Amed, Lovina, and all the other magical places around the island.

We are removed from the main road so you can either rent a motorbike to get around locally ($5/day), rent a small car, or hire a driver at a daily rate or for as much time as you'd like. Buses and ferries do run frequently to Padangbai.

Our new and "away from it all', "Bali Mimba Villa" and its GREEN ROOM, is located in Mimba Village which is beachfront adjacent to Padangbai, Bali's still undeveloped East Coast fishing village, from where ferries depart to Indoneisa's easterly islands. The town and village are steeped in daily Hindu-Bali culture, with functional and toursit-friendly ceremonies being part of the every day fabric of local life. Our Villa is set back from the main road all by itself in the middle of a coconut and banana field. A great artist/writer RETREAT. Yet it is only a 5 minute walk from a naked and sprwaling 'black sand beach" and a 10 minute walk to Padangbai's famous "white sand beach". Good restuarant and tourist services are located in town nearby. Guests will need a small car or motor bike to conveniently come and go to the property, where they can privately park their vehicle, and our manager can arrange for bike or car rentals, cooking, cleaning, day trips, eco-tourism, and anything your heart desires!

The Villa will be clean upon your arrival. The daily cleaning fee is $5/day. If you don't want the place cleaned every day, just let Made know.
Made can arrange for staff to shop for you, cook, drive, massage, babysit, anything you want or need. Just ask. We want happy guests!
