Situated in the heart of Trevone village, with its friendly pub, local
shop/cafe/gallery, and yet minutes from Trevone’s beautiful beaches, and the stunning North Cornwall coastal walks, also only one and a half miles from the popular and bustling Padstow. The Ridings has been refurbished to a high standard, providing an excellent, very well equipped, family holiday home, with lots of space and good size rooms. A private garden, and a sunny terrace at the rear.

Trevone is an area of outstanding natural beauty, and for us, the perfect holiday destination, with the charm of the Cornish Riviera, mixed with the wildness of the north coast. There are two coves, Trevone beach, a beautiful sandy bay, great for swimming, (has life guards in the summer months), surfing, sandcastles, and sunbathing, it has a lovely cafe, as well as take away facilities, a beach and surf shop, and toilets. Round the corner is Rocky beach, which is perfect for rock-pooling, shell collecting, and musselling, there is also a natural swimming pool amongst the rocks. There are fantastic walks along the dramatic coastline, see Trevones famous 'big hole'. Sports lovers are kept happy with a great variety of activities in the area, surfing, seven bays for seven days, and as many surf shops, golfing, the very popular Trevose golf club is 10 minutes away, coasteering, sailing, horseriding, fishing, diving etc.
Padstow is also 10 minutes away with its famous Rick Stein fish restaurant, as well as many other fine restaurants, pubs and cafes in the local area.

Bright, spacious, quirky 70's type property. Loved the colorful 70's interior and comfortable furnishings to match. Ideal property for families with pets. Safe enclosed garden ideally located for beaches and coastal paths and within walking distance to Padstow. Really appreciated the heating being on when we arrived at the house a lovely thought.

Offers plenty of space, sociable kitchen eating area. Great facilities for storing beach gear, with the added bonus of an outside shower. Lovely location, in a quiet road, yet close to the village shop, and a short stroll to the beach. Owners very helpful

We have rented this house in the summer for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. We go with friends and so between us have four children under 8 and it is perfect for young families. The house is all on one level with plenty of room for them to play indoors and out, a lovely safe, flat enclosed garden to the front of the house, an outside shower which the kids think is great to 'de-sand' from a day at the beach. The location is wonderful with only a short walk down to the beach and to the shop and local pub which is always hosting events (and has a trampoline in the garden) also a short drive into padstow. I highly recommend this house to large families and friends holidaying together it is perfect.

My husband and I first booked a holiday at The Ridings in Trevone in 2004 and have, with our children and grandchildren, returned there every year up to the summer of 2010. We found The Ridings to be situated in a pleasant village, not too far from the beach. The accommodation is spacious, well furnished and ideally suited for families. An added bonus is the fact that there is ample space for parking and the garden is completely safe for small children to play in. We will all remember our stays there with the greatest of pleasure.

We stayed at The Ridings over New Year and had the most fantastic time. The house provides every comfort and mod-con one could wish for: managing to be both spacious and warm and cosy at the same time. We were a large party and the house provided us with privacy when needed and also plenty of space for time spent together.
The location is simply stunning - it's a short walk down to the beautiful sandy beach or there are longer cliff-top walks to enjoy without having to use a car and the front door conservatory provides the perfect space to facilitate easy coming and going from any indoor to outdoor activity.
Within a short drive there is every provision you could ask for - from basic everyday shopping needs to days out in pretty seaside towns.
To have spent such a lovely time at The Ridings during the depths of an English winter, I can only wonder at how fantastic it must be during different times of the year. -

We spent a week at this house with four teenagers and elderley parents. The house is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating and equipment for eight. There are many spaces for people to hide in if they need to, and small library of books and films provided. Very easy access to the cliff top, beach and walk into Padstow through the fields. If you have an internet shop delivered, you wouldn't need to use your car. Pub opposite friendly - quiz night is fun. If your teenager (husband) gets get bored easily bring an electronic box as there is not really any internet reception. We loved it so much we are going again this year.
