Nestled back on a private cul de sac with outstanding views of the continental divide. Quite location to
regenerate your life. Outside room has fireplace, hammock and swing to relax and enjoy the outdoors or take a quiet nap. Apartment has one bedroom with king size log bed, fully stocked kitchen, full bath and livingroom with hide a bed. Only a short trip to the hot springs, skiing or fly fishing.
We can set you up with a hot air balloon ride or private massage.....

Private cul de sac with ample parking. Fly into Durango or Albquerque, NM and have a scenic drive to Pagosa Springs. We are world famous for our Hot Springs and powder skiing. Quiet location with fabulous views of the continental divide. You can take a walk or snow shoe out the front door...skiing, hot air ballooning, fly fishing, white water rafting and Navajo lake close by for water sports... come enjoy clean air and small town living....

Although always apprehensive about trying a privately owned, non-commerical facility, this "mountain hideaway" was, indeed, everything it promised and more. Every evening we were greeted on our return from adventures by a doe and her fawns, and most mornings. Darlene, the proprietor lives on the upper level and we never heard a disturbing sound. In fact the silence (since we live in a city) was almost deafening! The outside patio/room was an especially pleasing bonus, although we were too busy to take advantage of it. The gardens, forest and mountains over which it loved were beautiful. Our advice: Do not spend your money on local hotels...you can do that anywhere. Stay here! You'll not regret it. (BTW: We did not rate the service below because other than a very pleasant welcome and departure, we had no need of service...everything was in working order and our privacy was completely respected...so I guess I'd rate it excellent as well...so I will!)
