This 880 foot, one bedroom condo is rustic and luxurious all at the same time! It's unparalleled location, open floor plan, upgraded interior and balconies (two of them!) with views, make this unit a perfect fit for families, couples, friends and groups (there are three other rental units in the building).
The space is equipped with linens to sleep up to five people between the queen bed in the master and a self-inflating queen air mattress and comfy couch (not a pull out) in the living room.

Watch the sunrise over the mountains from your bedroom window while you sit back and enjoy that first cup of coffee. If you are lucky, you may be able to watch a rainbow over those same mountains in the afternoon or see a deer with her offspring wandering through the parking lot. This is a big apartment, with lots of windows. So much better than staying in any hotel. Read the other reviews for more good news.
I believe it is only fair to point out that this unit is at the top of the building so there are lots of stairs. Also, be aware that it is located in an urban environment so there is some noise from the highway, surrounding neighbors and businesses. It is super convenient; however, it does get busy around the building at times during the day.
Note that we did suggest to Melissa that she should consider replacing the bed as the mattress was old/soft. Her response was quick and positive.Response from Melissa Buckley - 12/18/2012

We stayed in this great condo for 5 days and had a wonderful time. We were traveling with two girls - 11 and 12 - and the condo was spacious enough that we all had plenty of room. The girls slept on the air mattress and couch in the living room and we were all really comfortable. The location is perfect! We walked all over town and took the girls across the street and down the hill to the river every day. It was incredible to be so close to everything. The condo had everything we needed - a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and a washer and dryer that were so handy for wet beach towels from the days in the river. The value was incredible and we really appreciated that the price per night included all the taxes and cleaning fees - it was really affordable and so much better than staying in a hotel. We walked to dinner every night and had great coffee just two doors down at the bakery. I would highly recommend this condo and definitely stay here again.

I loved staying at this condo in downtown Pagosa. The location was perfect! We walked to all the restaurants and the River for tubing and the hot springs. It was so nice to not have to get in the car. The condo itself was the perfect size for my family. Everything is really new and nice. I would not hesitate to book this exact place again! Thanks Melissa, for being an amazing hostess as well.
