One of the few homes in the Pagosa Springs area with Air Conditioning!! New home on the spillway for Village Lake. The house overlooks the green on the 5th hole of the Meadows Golf course. And if that isn't enough it has great mountain views. Professionally decorated. Great location with easy access to fishing, golfing, shopping, restaurants and recreation center. Sleeps 6 in 2 kings, and 1 queen.
High speed DSL data access available and a gas log fireplace. This home has a hot tub!

Our stay was for seven days. Upon making a reservation, my first priority was fishing in the lake behind the house in the photograph. I was told that fishing was available - in fact, it was not and it took two days to unravel the fishing mystery and the management company was providing incorrect information the whole time. The neighbors and Rec Center knew more about the amenities than the management company. Directions to the location were vague and incomplete. There was no initial checklist for evaluating the condition of the property so that we would not be charged for existing damages. Patio screens were damaged, when the oven was turned on it smelled like natural gas. We were told we could use the garage and were given the opener - the garage was filled with construction materials and could not be used. We had numerous issues that involved miscommunication and misrepresentations of the property and even took out time during our vacation to discuss these items with the management company getting friendly excuses and again more misinformation. Overall, the house would be nice for adults. Small children would not be able to play outside due to the water behind the house. The furniture and stairs do not make this handicap accessible. The beds were verrry uncomfortable. Kitchen and pantry were not minimally stocked with normal expected items for a rental. Checkout and clean-up instructions caused unnecessary inconvenience and were actually not able to use. After our arrival home, the management compmany did call to apologize for our concerns admitting miscommunications and logistical inadequacies. If you are wanting a seamless, worry-free stay, this is not the management company to use. Our expectation that a company that had been in business as long as they have and with the number of properties that they represent, that the logistical kinks would have been worked out a long time ago. We cannot be the only renters that have experienced these same issues.

Nice home in a beautiful setting. Arrived on a Sunday, and found out property manager had set out the wrong keys. We had a person we could contact to help us, or we would have had to rent a hotel for the night. Found out a emergency contact number had been removed from paperwork in error, so I believe that problem has been fixed. Other main frustration was no internet. Home is advertised to have broadband hookup but had no modem, etc. Called property managers, and they said they would call owners and get back to us, but we never heard from them. We had to go to coffee shops to get business email. More instructions on devices like DVD players, etc. would be helpful. We got it all figured out, but most of the homes we have stayed at in the past had more instructions available. Overall nice stay though! We love Pagosa!

The house is in need of redecorating but had the necessities. I would suggest that the owners buy new pans for cooking. That's why our family chose this place, so we could save money on eating out and prepare food in the house. The management company was great to work with. The TV went out during the week and on the day I called to report it they bought a new one, installed it and had the remotes working!!!

Overall- a nice stay for the price. Very spacious and accommodating for families. Close proximity to fishing lakes was wonderful. Beds were not very comfy though. House was well equipped with furnishings and housewares. Outdoor gas grill and hot-tub were much appreciated.

The house was great! It was spacious and clean. We weren't expecting it to be so well stocked, but it was! The hot tub was excellent after a day on the slopes. I can't say enough about how great the trip was. It really exceeded our expectations. The staff at Pagosa Central were excellent. They made everything so easy and worry free and gave us advice on places to check out around town. We've already decided that we will stay at the same place when we come back. Thanks!
