The Woodbine Inn specializes in Whole Inn Rentals--a unique and memorable alternative to regular house and vacation rentals. Whether you're planning a getaway with a family and friends or hosting a special occasion, the Woodbine Inn provides a stylish and comfortable environment to relax and make yourself at home.

Our 1850s Inn is fully renovated and decorated with a contemporary eye to country comfort, drawn upon owned, found, original and new furnishings to create a timeless... environment that is immediately welcoming and enduringly relaxing.

The 1920s Vintage Mahogany Bar, Lounge and Ballroom are now for the use of guests of the Woodbine only. They provide a fun hangout for groups, or can be set up for banquets, events and parties. Whatever the occasion, they retain the flavor of their colorful history as speakeasy, jazz club, and more.

The large flagstone kitchen is equipped with state of the art appliances and all gourmet cooking and dining needs. Alongside our lawns a pretty patio barbeque, landscaped cook's garden and gracious rose-covered wraparound porch provide a lovely setting for outdoor dining and relaxing.

The Woodbine Inn sleeps 8-12 persons. Our four luxury suites sleep 8 in our 4 sumptuous Queen beds, and all have private full baths, memory foam bedding and Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. Three of our suites have additional plush sleeper sofas to accommodate up to 4 additional persons. For large groups and events we recommend nearby accommodations for additional guests.

Located in the sleepy hamlet of Palenville (America's first Artist's colony and Washington Irving's inspiration for the Legend of Sleepy Hollow) our gentle waterfalls, pristine swimming holes and fairytale rock formations are the gift of Kaaterskill Falls, as its waters make their way downsteam in an enchanting series of cascades and pools.

We're close to the arts and restaurants of Woodstock, the antiques and shopping in Saugerties, the skiing and outdoor activities at Hunter Mountain, and all the many activities and attractions of the Hudson River Valley.

  Our 4 night stay at the Woodbine Inn was exactly what we hoped it would be. We rented the entire house and were impressed with the spaciousness of the common areas and especially the bedrooms. The gourmet kitchen was well outfitted and I cannot think of a single kitchen utensil it was missing. The lovely patio, wrap around porch, and tranquil location only added to our family getaway. We would certainly rent again, if ever in the area.
