PALAZZO CATTLOICA is a private apartment very well located in the heart of the old city, in a magnificent and aristocratic palace whit a private imposing double courtyard: pretty much the perfect introduction to the decrepit grandeur of the historical center of Palermo.
Even though awaiting restoration, the wonderful staircase leading up to the apartment is very impressive with a headless classical statue. There are many stairs to climb to the apartment, but they are shallow, not tiring, and with such a glamorous old staircase, you barely notice the climb. For 9 weeks antonios apartment was our home where we loved to live, spent wonderful and happy moments and watched our little baby daughter learn to crawl. Antonio supplied us with everything we needed, e.g. a baby crib for our daughter. His suggestions what to see and where to go in Palermo are absolutely worth seeing. The spacious apartment is decorated with so many nicely chosen details and sicilian specialties that it is a pleasure to wake up every morning. An ideal quiet place in the heart of Palermo!
This precious time will always be treasured and in antonio and his family we have found wonderful friends.
We can't wait to return. Thank you so much!
