Two levels apartment in the heart of Palermo. It is located at the third floor (no lift) in Discesa dei Giudici n.28 very close to the "Vucciria" market and 10 mins walking from the train and bus station ("Stazione Centrale").

Downstairs you will find:

-a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (+shower box) and a walk-in closet equipped with air conditioned;

-a second double bedroom with a little TV equipped with a fan;

-a bathroom with a shower box;

-a little studio.

Upstaris is connected via an inner staircase and there can be found:

-a large and spacious living room/dining room with a so...fa, an old wooden made table with chairs and a 42" flat TV;

- a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a fridge/freezer;

- a laundry-room (accessible by the kitchen) with a washing machine and anything needed for ironing;

- a toilet with a shower-box.

But the most attractive thing is a stunning and large patio veranda that fits perfectly a sicilian dinner or an aperitive at the open air.

The apartment provides a comfortable accommodation in Palermo historic centre, where you can find out Norman, Arabic and Byzantine infulences in the sicilian architecture.
The train and bus station ("Stazione Centrale") is 10 mins walking and there you can catch either the bus or the train that leads you to Palermo airport.
Every attraction is at walking distance so you will not need a car and so you will not have problems related to traffic or parking.

-Piazza Pretoria and "Quattro canti di città" - 2/3 mins
-"Vucciria" market (where you can buy fresh fruit and vegs, fish and anything you might need for a dinner) - 5 mins
-Ballarò Street Market - 7 mins
-La Magione - 9 mins
-Palermo's Cathedral - 11 mins
-Teatro Massimo - 12 mins
-Orto Botanico and Villa Giulia - 12 mins
-Palatin chapel and Palazzo dei Normanni - 16 mins
-Foro Italico, where you can have a walk along the promenade and have a great ice cream at Antica Gelateria Ilardo - 20 mins

More, it is very easy to get to Monreale where you will admire the Cathedral and its magnificient mosaics and the Benedictine cloister courtyard.
Walk to Piazza Indipendenza (17 mins). There jump on a 389 bus to MezzoMonreale and there change for the charter bus service to Monreale (tot approx. 30/40 mins).

Finally, if you want to experience a nice swim at Mondello beach, get on a 101 bus to Piazza Don Sturzo (behind the "Politeama" theatre) and there get on a 806 bus that will take you straight to Mondello.

NOTE: tickets cannot be purchased on the bus. Usually you will have to buy in a "giornalaio" (paper shop) or in a "tabacchino" (sigarettes shop)
