Concord, MassachusettsVery clean and comfortable apartments in lively part of central
Left on 09/08/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My husband and I stayed with our two teenagers in the apartments Klimt and Miro in the beginning of august. Both apartments are nicely furnished in modern style with comfortable beds (also the sofa beds are comfortable). They are very clean and have well equipped kitchens. The air conditioning works well, which is very important in the Palermo summer heat, and so does the Wifi. Excellently located, in a part of the old center that has many restaurants, it is an easy walk to historic sights, markets, etc. Fulvio, the manager, was very kind and helpful. He knew the arrival time of our flight and without further communication was already waiting for us when we arrived at the apartments to get us settled. We will certainly return when we visit Palermo again.

Split, CroatiaGreat apartment in central location
Left on 08/06/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We were staying for three nights in Klimt apartment. The location of the property is perfect, right in the heart of the city with numerous restaurants and bars. All major city sights and attractions are within easy reach of the apartment. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need. Fulvio, the owner, is a great and helpful host.
We will most certainly come back to Palermo and, if possible, to Casa Laure. -

Left on 04/11/2012 for a stay in March 2012
I stayed in the pretty and colourful Klimt apartment for five nights, and found it perfect for a city break. It's in very good decorative order, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The area feels very safe, and is close to the heart of the city: just about everywhere I wanted to visit is within easy walking distance. There are plenty of good, well-priced bars and restaurants nearby, but the building itself is an a quiet sidestreet, so noise wasn't a problem even though the area is lively at night. Fulvio, the owner, is really pleasant and helpful, and dealt with all queries very promptly.

The apartment (Klimt) is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It can accommodate four persons, but that means that two of them would have to sleep in the dining/kitchen area, which is fine for a short stay. The TV set works poorly, and offers very limited number of channels, all of them Italian. An electric kettle in the kitchen would be an improvement.
The neighbourhood is lively, with many restaurants, mainly offfering kebab and other oriental food. All the city's must sees are within walking distance, as well as busses to the airport. -

Left on 10/01/2011 for a stay in September 2011
Two appartments with excellent location in the heart of Palermo.
Pros:
Both Miró and Klimt appartments are well thought through.
The smaller Miró is facing a nice backyard and is suitable for 2 people.
The Klimt appartment is facing the street, and is suitable for upto 4 people.
Both appartments was tidy and clean when we arrived.
They have modern windows against noise from the outside and aC, which makes for a good nights sleep.
The appartments has TV and free WiFi (Adsl) Internet access (from Telecom Italia) at these speeds DL: 6,96 Mbit/s, UL: 0,40 Mbit/s (measured against a server in Denmark). Quick enough to watch streaming TV.
The hosts are absolutely nice people. They are always there to help if needed.
Listen closely to their advice!
The neighborhood of Casa Laure includes bars, some nice restaurants, a small convenience store and a church.
Facing the Klimt appartment is a narrow street with it's own life!
There is a guy who has two cats and a small dog.
He feeds his cats and walks his small dog often.
When the cats gets their food on the street, a large dog who lives in the top appartment barks and he commands it inside. Most often successful!
The Casa Laure is approx 600 meters from a coop supermaket/laundry service and outdoor market where they sell everything. Even closer than the coop is the smaller shop Prezzemolo where they sell everything we needed incl. tomato juice.
Cons:
None to us, but for disabled people there might be. Ask the caretakers! -

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this apartment for just over a week. It is perfect for a young couple or solo traveller and has everything you need. Its good value, clean and in a great location. Right in the heart of the city but just off the main roads so its still quiet.
Fulvio was a great host and offered advice about things to do and see. I would highly recommend to my friends and anyone thinking of traveling to Palermo.

Oakland, CAThis was perfect lodging for a month in the historic center.
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
I spent a full month in Palermo in the larger apartment, and was joined by friends who took the smaller studio. The location was ideal to the historic sites and restaurants, bars, cafes; the apartments were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The kitchens were suitable for enjoying 2 light meals there a day. The apartment manager was extremely kind and helpful. He connected me up with a great cooking/cultural experience, see the website associazionetegami.com, which I enjoyed throughout my stay. I'll be back.

Left on 06/02/2011 for a stay in May 2011
I spent the month of May in the larger (Klimt) apartment and was later joined by friends who stayed in the adjoining studio (Miro). The location of the apts got us quickly to restaurants, bars, shopping, theaters and the Vucciria and Capo markets. The apt manager Fulvio was a delight and helpful with recommendations. The apartments were well maintained and completely equipped. It was a convenient place to crash after a lot of walking around the city and sites., and a good location to transit centers. Fulvio made the connection for me to Maria Randazzo, website www.associazionetegami.com, who provided a view of Palermo that most tourists will not see, an unusual experience in the mix of food, culture, and geography of the area, including hands-on cooking lessons.
This is where I'd stay again in Palermo. -
