Buenos Aires - ArgentinaRelaxing time in beautiful Sicily
Left on 05/13/2013 for a stay in September 2011
I went to Trappeto while visiting friends in the region and this town is just perfect to have a relaxing time. Since it's not a touristic place, you can really get the feeling of being in Sicily, the people is great and the beach is really nice.
I visited Trapetto by the end of September and it was still good to take a swim!
The apartment had everything that I needed. It was exactly what I was looking for and perfect for spending my vacations there. Fully equipped and very comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.
Giuseppe really makes you feel at home always willing to help you with almost anything. -

We really enjoyed our stay there. It's quite but everything you need is close by (e.g. supermarkets, bakery, café, gelateria) - for us the perfect combination. We also loved watching the fishermen on the old harbour which is exactly where the flat is. Thanks again for the nice holidays!

Trappeto is excellent place to go to if you want to relax and avoid too many other tourists. Food was excellent, so was also the local wine. The arrangement of renting the house went very smooth and you get good value for the money. Lovely house. The owner is very service minded. It is very good to stay in Trappeto and get the more local Sicilian feeling but at the same time very easy to get to Palermo as a day trip as well.

It was real delight to spend time with local people, enjoy very good authentic Sicilian food and wine. It was an opportunity to find solace in the warm temperatures of the Mediterranean Sea and experience the wonderful surroundings of Trappeto. The house is warm, full of character, charm and felt very homely.
Looking forward to my return!
I would absolutely recommend this to everyone!!! -

TallinnUnder the Sicilian sun, and wind, and sea...
Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in September 2012
I was visiting Sicily in september 2012.
The weather was fantastic, the food was incredible, the sea was beautiful, Sicily was (in fact) authentic and the rooms were one of the best ones I've visited. It did not feel like a hotel room at all, it felt like visiting a friend.
I did not feel there as a tourist, I felt as a guest.
I can recommend it to everyone.

londonA lovely time in Trappeto
Left on 03/24/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We had a lovely time staying in Trappeto and in a gorgeous apartment from Guiseppe- right next to the sea so that we were able to sit on the veranda and have breakfast watching the fishermen bring in their catch. A lovely apartment, comfortable and clean, really nice treat that Guiseppe left there. We would highly recommend the place- location is brilliant too- nice quite small town away from madness of Palermo but close to local attractions such as Segesta or the near by nature reserve..
Thank you for a lovely holiday! Dominik

Trappetodamare is really the authentic Sicily. I've been to Sicily five times and traveled around a lot. But no place so far is so relaxing, friendly and cosy as Trappeto.
to rent apartments from the Zenones is always simple, comfortable and they are very service minded. Us there a problem, then they help you and make sure you have the time of your life. Don't get suprised if Giuseppe ask you to join his family for dinner at the lokal fish restaurant(witch is absolute splendid) down at lungomare.
this is one of the best places for holiday I've ever been to! -

We drove just a short way to Trappeto where we were met by a local family: our first taste of local cakes and coffee. The apartment was right in the middle of Trappeto, where we could see real Sicilian life. With my rusty German we got by!! A balcony that enabled us to see the sea just down the road was lovely-we had everything we needed -cooking for some of the meals meant the good stove and pots were important. Also a comfortable bed made all the difference.
We had lovely walks in the Zingaro, swam in the sea, shared a picnic lunch with local foresters of sardines, bread and wine, visited Segesta saw the temple, amphi-theatre and went to the thermal pool.
The people were really welcoming, generous and ready to do all they could to make our stay special.

Polandslowing down and resting in Trappeto
Left on 11/07/2012 for a stay in October 2012
I went to Trappeto with my husband in mid october - so very slow touristic season - however the weather was really nice 27-28 C and we really like the silence there. The apartment we stayed was on the ground floor so the door opened almost to the boardwalk with the views on the sea (so everyday we could watch beautiful sunsets). We had big kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking which we appreciated a lot, as we like cooking and we could try some experiments with Sicilian cuisine.
The town is really small and not much is going on there in October - there is only 1 supermarket, few restaurants and Cafés however it makes that place good for resting from city rush and noise. The beach is small but very nice and quiet.
The owner of the apartment was really helpful. He offered us his advice about trips and even arranged a bus from airport to Trappeto.
As a overall we had really great time in Trapetto.

TallinnAuthentic taste of Sicily in a wonderful location with great peo
Left on 04/18/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Me and my family stayed in Casa Vacanza Rinascita for the two last weeks of august and were extremely satisfied with our choice.
We arrived with the transfer organised by the owner Giuseppe and were happy to find that the holiday home corresponded perfectly to the description!
The house was impressively clean and spacious. As to facilities, everything was provided from kitchen equipment to hairdryer, fan, TV etc.
We were greeted by the most lovely parents of Giuseppe, Ninfa and Benedetto, with a basket of seasonal fruit, coffee, olive oil and a small bottle of home made lemon liqueur limoncello. The most impressive welcome we have had so far and we do use holiday homes around Europe quite often!
As to the surroundings, it was as described. The town is small, everything is nearby. Restaurants (I would definitely recommend Sapori del Mare for great seafood with great price-quality relation!), shops, seaside were just a few minutes from the house.
In the evenings there were nice concerts in cosy places and a market with traditional products along the seafront. Sandy beach was also within walking distance from the house, but for those who don't want to walk there is a small open train that goes often from the town to the beach and back.
The people of the town are unforgettable! Very natural, helpful and communicative despite the fact we spoke no Italian. Giuseppe took us once to his countryside to have a Sicilian lunch with his family and pick some lemons, figs and other fruits from his garden. We couldn't thank him enough for this amazing experience!
The last point to emphasize is that it was really easy to move around from Trappeto. Giuseppe got us a good car deal and we visited most of the Western part of Sicily and Etna and Taormina.
We wouldn't have changed Trappeto for any of the very touristic towns we visited. Trappeto was authentic and offered us experiences we would have never got in mass tourism places. Would truly recommend!
