We have spacious serviced studios, 1-bedroom apartments and a vacation villa.
The apartments and vaction villa are serviced Monday through Saturday and we regularly receive compliments about our high standard of service and cleanliness.

Heb in Paulines appartementen gelogeerd van 6 tot en met 11 september 2012. Pa is een klein maar zeer luxe en comfortabel complex centraal gelegen ten opzichte van de high rise hotels en uitgaansgelegenheden. Appartement is ruim opgezet met mooie luxe woonruimte ( met tv ), slaapruimte, keuken en badkamer. Bed en meubilair is goed en netjes verzorgd. Met name bed is prima en gaf mij een meer dan uitstekende nachtrust. De schoonmaak is prima en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Gastheer en gastvrouw zijn aanwezig voor hulp en advies maar zeker niet zichtbaar. Aan de term gastvrijheid geven zij echt de juiste invulling. Heb met heel veel genoegen in dit appartement verbleven, kom hier zeker weer terug en zal dit bij iedereen aanbevelen.

You can get to the hotel area (Palm beach) in 10 minutes to walking.
There are two markets close the apartement.
All people are very friendly in aruba!

The owners are very serious and come through on their promises. Paula, the housekeeper, is also very dependable.
We stayed in a studio apartment and found it quite spacious for a couple. The furnishings were all very high quality and it was nice to have a working kitchen. The property also has a washer (us$2 per load) and dryer as well as a clothes line.
You can easily walk to several restaurants and a large supermarket. Most bars and restaurants only stock ridiculously small 8 oz. (255 ml) bottles of beer so, if you want to buy something larger than kiddie size, the Kong Fui supermarket will be your salvation. Be advised that they charge more for cold beverages than cans or bottles of the shelf.
The beach is a 15 minute hike (which I loved and my wife did not). After 4 days at Palm and Eagle beaches, we rented a car and visited the national park and Baby Beach. If you are just visiting Palm Beach/Eagle Beach, I would skip renting a car.
The only real negative was that Pauline's wifi service was very unstable. Our connection to the Internet went down for a few minutes or, more often, a few hours 7 of the 8 days we stayed there. Sometimes the problem could be fixed by rebooting the property's router; other times the problem was due to the local ISP. But as long as you are not on a "working vacation" and have some reading material, this should not stress you out too much.Response from Paulines Apartments - 09/14/2012

Service: Fabulous
Home: We are repeat customers, so that must mean something, (we love it)
Location: 2 blocks away from town and 3 blocks away from the beachfront, all can walk to.
Amenities: free wifi, which most big places charge for, 10% discount on several places to eat, the place is just quaint, nothing really sums it up more than that, just a comfy place and everyone makes you feel welcomed and that you should be there, Stefan is great. See you next year...
Downfall: The onl downfall I can come up with is that the place does not have a swimming pool, but I forgot to mention, you get free access to Moomba Beach. -

I have stayed at Pauline's apartments 3 times. My last stay was for almost 11 weeks. The apartments are comfortable and well maintained. The housekeeper, Paula, keeps the apartments spotless. The owners, Thamar and Stephan, are delightful hosts and are always close at hand to make sure everything is working properly. Pauline's is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach if you are not driving. Because I stayed at Pauline's apartments, I also got a discount to eat at Stephan's (the owner's) restaurants. DaVinci's is one of my favorites. The food is great and it is quite moderately priced.

This is an excellent opportunity for those that already know aruba, will rent a car and want a very nice place to stay on a really affordable price. The appartments are well equiped, really clean and confortable, they includes a pair of beach chairs, towels and access pass for a nearby beach club. The kitchen appliances are home-style (not a tiny fridge but a big one) the place is quiet and secure (every appartment has a home like alarm). The a/c works as it should be and even has a ceiling fan. There is internet wifi and by net cable that works. The bathroom could be a little small for the size of the apartment, but its new and clean. The place is managed by its owners Sthephan and Thamar who are a well established dutch entreprenuers of the Island, thery are trustworthy people with who you can make reservation by the phone and payments with no hesitation.

Stephan picked me up from the airport and delivered me safely to the apartment while informing on local info.I arrived and was very pleased with the location and accomadations that was given. I grilled got some great sun and had a extremly great play to stay. I highly recomend paulines apartment .

I stayed here for 3 weeks while learning to kitesurf at Fisherman's Huts Beach. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the wifi service was great (my netflix account worked in aruba) The room was cleaned 6 days a week. Flat screen TV. I rented a car to get around easily, which worked well, I think walking everywhere or taking the bus would be inconvenient. I could drive to the kitesurf beach in 5 minutes. Lots of restaurants near the highrise hotels, also just 5 minutes drive away.

La zona es muy bonita donde se encuentran ubicados los apartamentos Pauline´s, es tranquila y segura, esta muy cerca de todo, la atención fue excelente por parte del dueño el Sr Stephan y del personal encargado de la limpieza de los apartamentos, hacen su trabajo como debe debe ser, los apartamentos son muy comodos y confortables ya que se encuentran dotados con muy buen mobiliario, equipos y utensilios de cocina, le recomendarÃa al Sr Stephan en aquellos casos en que el huesped tenga que viajar de regreso en horas de la noche, permitir desocupar el apartamento o hacer el checkout un poco más tarde de las 11:00 am como esta previsto y establecer algún acuerdo con el huesped para hacer la salida en horas de la tarde, y asi aprovechar el dÃa del regreso de mejor manera.
Por todo lo demás es Excelente y lo recomiendo a aquellas personas que les gusta la tranquilidad, el confort , seguridad y limpieza

You really do need a car to stay here. Even the distance to Moomba Beach is too far to walk to in the heat of aruba. It is only a "short distance" (as described) by car. The offered "discounts" at Moomba Beach did not add up to anything but a free chair (which anyone can have)-additional charge for the umbrella (which is a necessity here as there is no other shade cover). Didn't take advantage of their restaurant discount offerings but these were not in the upper-end restaurants anyway. Checking in was a disaster for us. The owner was in the Netherlands but left us in "good hands" - the "good hands" contact person was on the beach playing tennis while we were trying to contact her on her cell phone (she didn't answer because she didn't recognize the incoming number) - In the meantime we were driving around aruba in a rental car with all our food and belongings resulting in a very late check-in and calling the owner several times in the Netherlands trying to locate the "good hands contact". The room never got really cool - the maid services were excellent - she informed us the rule was that the a/C had to be turned off everytime we left the room, however, the room was very clean and maid very friendly. It's a pretty place and it's very quiet but just too far away from any action/beaches in aruba. Room supplies were adequate.

We are sorry to hear that you found the distance to Moomba Beach from our apartments to far to walk. Although many of our guests find this distance a nice walk, it is recommendable to rent a car for a part or your whole vacation on Aruba. Not just to avoid the sometimes high temperatures, but it also makes it easier to enjoy the other parts of our beautiful island. The different beautiful beaches, Arikok National Park, Oranjestad, Natural Pool, the Natural Bridge and other sights worth visiting are located all over the island.
In previous reviews former guests write that the distance from our apartments to the beach, shops, restaurants, nightlife or other action is perfect and nothing to ‘worry about’. Pauline’s Apartments is about a 15 minute walk away from the Radisson Hotel, which is in the center of the hotel strip. In this area you will find the majority of shops, restaurants and nightlife available on Aruba. The area is called Palm Beach, named after the long stretch of white sandy beach right in front of the hotels. From all of the apartment complexes on Aruba, we are probably located as one of the closest to the hotel strip.
At Moomba Beach our guests can make free use of the lounge chairs, children’s playground, bathrooms and showers. This service is guaranteed year round for guests of our apartments. You have shaded areas under the beautiful trees as well as areas open to the sun. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a lounge chair in a shaded area is always available. Next to the free use of the beach facilities, our guests also receive a 10% discount at the bar and restaurant of Moomba Beach.
As an alternative to Moomba Beach, every apartment has free foldable lightweight beach chairs, which our guests are free to take to any beach on the island. At several beaches you can find palapas or cabins where you can find shade. These are free to be used by everybody.
We are sincerely very sorry for the difficulties with the check-in. We always ask our guests at what time they will arrive on the island and at what time we can expect them to check-in. Unfortunately after sending several emails in the week prior to your arrival requesting this information, you did not reply to us. We do not have a front desk and during our stay abroad one of our colleagues handled our affairs. Without the arrival information we could not instruct her at what time to be at Pauline’s Apartments to do the check-in.
The air-conditionings in all our apartments receive preventive service at least 2 times a year. Unfortunately sometimes problems still occur. As soon as we notice this ourselves or when we receive word from our guests about this, we have the service company come in right away to fix the problem. Unfortunately the problem was not reported to us or to our colleague and we were unable to make the necessary arrangements.
Thank you very much about the great comments on our housekeeper Paula. She has been with us for years and we are very happy to have her as part of our ‘family’. We will pass your nice words on to her.

We stayed at room 3 studio for 4 nights and it was very comfortable during our entire stay, room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. if anyting i have to point out it'll be lack of pressure on shower head. the apt's got all the basics things that you need: couch which can also be a bed for third person, small kitchen w basic cooking supplies with a full size fridge and microwave, small garden patio w outdoor table and chairs. I cooked my breakfast and walked to the beach every morning. It's not the best location nearby the beach but still walkable distance (15 minutes walk along the streets-some part w/o sidewalks) from the high rise area beach. If you're looking for something less crowded and more secluded place, this is it. we had a rental car so getting around the island was not a problem. It's pretty convenient even if you don't have a car, restaurants, supermarket and chain fast food restaurants are all walking distances. the owner is very accomadating as well. We'll definitely revisit!

We just returned from our wonderful stay in aruba at Pauline's apartments.
The host was a delight, the apartment was great, and the overall value was terrific!
For anyone concerned about the walk to the beach, don't be! It's only a few minutes / a couple of blocks and it never bothered us in the least, especially in light of the heavy dinners we nightly needed to "walk-off!" Also, having a full kitchen and a living room area helped make our stay much more comfortable and convenient.

Paulines supplied us with a nice,clean, comfortable, studio apartment which included maid service daily (except Sundays), an adequate kitchen (excluding oven and dish washer), free internet service, and excellent response to any questions/problems. The location was excellent, being about a ten minute walk from Palm Beach with great proximity to all the restaurants in that area. Probably the thing we liked least was that we were not right on the beach, but that was somewhat allieved because we had beach rights and free loune chairs available in the Mamboo Beach area. Since we usually rent a car for the duration of our stay, we found no inconveniences with Pauline's location.

We had a wonderful time while in Aruba, and Pauline's was the perfect place to stay. We came for the snorkeling the desert north side of the island. We never entered a casino while there, and had no desire to. Pauline's is the place to stay if you want a lower rate on the rent, and you don't need to be in a resort with bars and casino's. They have beach chairs that you can take to the beach, they are very well kept and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the shade under the cabana while having our morning coffee. We highly reccomend a stay at Pauline's.

For two months (mid-January to mid-March) I stayed at Pauline's Apartments. I have been to Aruba many times in the past. When I am there, I like to walk for the exercise. Pauline's is about a 15 minute walk to Palm Beach. A bus stops in front of Pauline's (about once every hour). I stayed in a large studio apartment. It was very comfortable and it was kept meticulously clean. I normally had breakfast, snacks and occasionally lunch and dinner there. Fortunately, there was a washer and dryer close to my room...it made life so much easier. The other guests I met at Pauline's had stayed there many times before (this was my first visit). Everyone was quite friendly. Pauline's does not have a pool, is not on the ocean and it does not have the amenities of the large hotels. It also does not cost nearly as much as the large hotels on Palm Beach. Pauline's is very quiet. It has good security - locked gates, in room safes, burglar and fire alarms. The owners, Thamar and Stephan, are delightful hosts. They make sure everything is working satisfactorily and will gladly help you with your requests. Paula, the housekeeper, keeps everything spotless and is delightful to talk to. I look forward to staying at Pauline's next winter!
