Long Island NYAffordable and Comfortable
Left on 02/10/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We visited January of 2013, decided to try using a condo instead of an all inclusive or hotel as a new experience. The condo was very comfortable and presented as advertised. The pool area was beautiful although we never used it because we were rarely there during the day. Internet and TV worked well and the room was comfortable. One issue that we had was that the sink in the bathroom drained very slow from the time we got there gradually getting worse until it barely drained at all. We tried to "plunge" it several times but it didn't help. Michael, the owner responded to our email right away saying his man would be there to fix it, but it looked like he never did. Short drive to everywhere, great restaurants, beaches and the people seemed very friendly.
I personally decided after this trip that I prefer hotels, mainly because I like to have everything right there, instead of driving to a beach or restaurant.. I'd rather be within walking distance.
I recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice, affordable condo. -

We had a lovely time in aruba! As we wanted a different experience from staying in a high price hotel, we opted for a condo. We couldnt have picked a nicer condo for the price.
Michael was wonderful to deal with. He was very promt in replying to my requests/questions. He had great suggestions which we went with. I would highly suggest renting a car so you can explore the island.
The property/condo was very clean and well-maintained. The gardens etc are very lovely. If any issues come up, they are dealt with right away. I liked that it was a few minutes away from the busy-ness of Palm Beach. The pool is amazing and right outside your door. Very relaxing!!!
If I go to aruba again I would definitely stay here.

We just returned from an awesome week in aruba. We stayed in Condo 5a of the Paradise Condos owned by Michael. The Condo, poporety and pool were excellent. Everything is very modern and well maintained. The Condo is very close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches--less than 2 miles to all these things. The Condo was roomy, clean, air conditioned, and just perfect. I would recommedn this location and Condo to anyone wantint to vacation in aruba.

The condo was everything Michael says and describes. It is just like the pictures, that is your courtyard. Michael is very detailed oriented, has directions for everything, and they were very accurate.
My best friend of 30+ years and I vacationed together for approximately 7days. You must rent a car, if you want to go anywhere except the grocery store across the street.
We used the rental car agency that Michael recommends and they were great. The man met us at airport as they were closed, flight problems, we got the rental paperwork done, he drove us out to the place as there are no road signs and it was almost midnight. He even helped me get into the place. His name is anand he is very good employee.
The condo was very well stocked as everyone says. Nice shower, read all the notes/directions as soon as you arrive.
The pool area is just stunning!!! -

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The best part about the stay was the pool area. There were very few guests during the time that we were there so it was almost like having our own private pool. The only downside was that the pool was only cleaned once per day. Due to all of the beautiful Palm trees it didn't take long for the pool to accumulate leaves and debris which wouldn't be removed until the next morning.
The condo itself was clean and the description was accurate. If you don't have to get the large resort experience, I would certainly recommend the condo for privacy. The market across the street made it easy to grab the odds and ends that we needed at a comparable price to what we would pay in the us. We cooked breakfast and dinner a few times and the market pretty much had everything that we needed or a close substitute.
We opted not to rent a car but we would advise others to do so. We walked to the bus stop in front of the Marriott each day to catch a ride into town. We don't regret not renting a car because we saved a lot of money. The walk was not long but depending on the time of the day we left out, the hot temperature made the walk feel much longer than it really was.
Places that we recommend to eat:
- Salt & Pepper ( variety cuisine)
- Buccaneer (seafood)
-The Dutch Pancake House ( We ate breakfast here 3 times!)
Activities
- Mi Dushi snorkling excursion ( the crew was really fun) -

Bucks County, PAVery Nice!
Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We thoroughly enjoyed our aruba vacation and this condo was just what we were looking for. It was very nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was just far enough away from the busy hotels to be relaxing, but close enough to be convenient. The pool was fantastic with lush landscaping and a beautiful, inviting courtyard right outside our door. The kids loved it and would have stayed there all day if there weren't so many other fun things to do!
We enjoyed a day at arashi beach, a snorkel cruise (there is good snorkeling right off the beaches, but take a trip to the shipwreck, it's worth it) and a jeep adventure through the national park to the Natural Pool (Aruba Royal delivered the jeep right to the condo). Late September's weather was perfect too - just wish we could have stayed longer.
Thank you! -

The condo was a wonderful home away from home. We rented for one week and enjoyed it completely. The king size bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed except we ran out of propane for a few days and because we had no computer or phone, we had no way of figuring out what to do except when we chatted with someone out by the pool who had a computer and she got in touch with the owner and next day, we had propane. My husband is handicapped and he had no problems with getting around to the condo and in it. Very spacious and open. Wonderful little lanai for coffee in the morning and the pool was excellent. Our trip was part of a rewards trip and so after our week at the condo we moved to one of the luxury hotels on the beach and the pool at the condo was nicer than the pool at the hotel. I'd reccommend this condo to anyone.
The only downside to this is having to use Pay-pal to pay for it. I'm still working on getting my deposit back.Response from Michael Gilliar - 08/28/2011

Thank you for the kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. It is a wonderful place. I will investigate why you have not received your deposit back from PayPal. It's usually instantaneous. I will e-mail you directly.

Left on 06/02/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We first found these apartments in 2008, and returned over the holidays in 2010. We really can't say enough about the owner Michael and the condos. The nondescript outside opens to a quiet tropical paradise with a beautiful patio that leads to the pool (first floor). The kitchen is well equipped, and the furnishings and place spacious, with reliable and fast internet (important to us, as unfortunately we had to keep in touch with work back home.) The owner is continuously making little improvements to make stays even better - like new screens on the windows and keyless locks. He answered emails and was a phone call away, with helpful tips about navigating or finding the TV remote.

Anchorage, AlaskaWonderful Trip to aruba
Left on 05/27/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We spent four days at Paradise Condos in aruba. The pool area was fantastic. It was very relaxing and the pool is clean and very refreshing. It is surrounded by gardens and palm trees. The location of the condo is also great as you can get to Palm Beach (high rise hotel area) and Eagle Beach (low rise hotel area) in just a few minutes. You will need to get a rental car to get to where you want to go.
The condo was clean and had great air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. The king size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and our two sons used the queen size self inflating air mattress that was also very comfortable to sleep on.
The kitchen was fully stocked and a grocery store is just across the street. So we had breakfast and lunch in the condo and then enjoyed the afternoon at the beach. Eagle Beach was our favorite. The turquoise clear water was so nice. You could stay in it all day. The sand was white and felt like powdered sugar to walk on. Amazing is the word for the beaches.
The food in aruba is also great. We had dinners at Madame Janettes and Wacky Wahoo's. Both were fantastic.
We highly recommend Paradise Condos. A great place to stay with reasonable rates.

Our condo at Wacamaya Village was more than we expected. We loved the lushly landscaped courtyard, the lack of any crowds, and the calm, relaxed atmosphere. The waterfall into the pool is outstanding and hypnotic. The condo itself is comfortable but the bathroom and especially the shower are equal to what you'd find in very expensive hotels. The location has you near a number of beaches and near a very good supermarket.

If you are looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay, this is a neat and clean one-bedroom condo within driving distance of everything else. We rented a car and explored a different part of the island every day. Grocery store across the street, maps and helpful tips from the owner and previous guests. Two thumbs up!

We stayed here and had a great time. The condo is beautiful and well stocked. It overlooks the pool and garden and during the day you can hear the waterfall just outside the window. The furnishings were brand new and the king size bed was very comfortable. You never feel crowded; we had the pool to ourselves practically, and the people we did meet we very, very nice. The complex is very discreet on the outside and amazingly appealing inside and out by the pool and gardens. It was only about 1/2 mile to the beach. We used the less crowded (almost empty) beaches and coves at arashi beach, but the hotel beaches at Palm Beach were great too. You can get food and drinks served right on the beach. The owners provided beach chairs and a cooler! The restaurants we ate at were excellent, especially Gianni's and Wacky Wahoos. The night life is down by the hotels, not in Oranjestad. Clubs get busy after 11:00, so we mostly at dinner around 8:00. We loved all the attractions and can't wait to go back to aruba and, considering how much we saved over a hotel and the fact that it was nicer than any hotel and we had our own kitchen I would definitely stay at Paradise Condo again!

New JerseyHoneymooner's Heaven!
Left on 01/13/2011 for a stay in November 2010
My husband and I choose to stay here because the place looked great, we had never been to aruba and heard it was beautiful. The owner explained he gets 15-20 honeymoon couples each year, so we felt confident in spending our honeymoon here! I must say, we were not disappointed! The place was so nice, the unit was just beautiful - marble floors and all. The pool area was just as it was described to us; we just about had it all to ourselves! This unit was great; everything was new, and stylish, comfortable, and classy. Most of the first floor units, which is what we had, overlook the beautiful blue pool and waterfall. (You can't get to the pool directly from the second story units). The pool doesn't extend to the four end units, so our unit was just perfect, right near the waterfall. We can't wait to go back. Since we returned I have visited the website five times just to see pictures of the place and relive it a again. The beach was close, there was a small market just across the street that took care of all of our needs, and there was so much to do in the area. Often, we found ourselves just enjoying the peace and quiet of the pool. It was very tropical and all you heard was the waterfall and the parrots. The owners suggested the Fly-and-Dine Helicopter experience - a real treat for honeymooners. We got a tour of the island by air and was then dropped off right at the most beautiful restaurant on the island, overlooking the sea, where we were greeted by the staff with champagne and a tropical drink called a Yellowbird. I only wish I had surprised my husband with this. If you're a honeymooner, second honeymooner, or just looking for a great place, you can't go wrong here in Paradise! I'll never stay at a hotel again - ever - well at least not in aruba! And I agree with the other reviews, the only thing I don't like about this place is that more people might find out about it!

Left on 01/13/2011 for a stay in December 2010
My husband and I stayed at this condo for ten incredible days. We honeymooned in aruba 12 years ago at an all-inclusive resort. I have to say, "Hands Down," I wish I knew about this condo back then. The location was perfect and met all of our expectations. It was so private and relaxing. The accommodations were fabulous. The condo was spacious and very clean. The furniture was so comfortable, but most importantly, so was the bed. The bathroom was very modern and well designed. All the amenities were at your fingertips. The outside was also very clean. There were lounge chairs right outside our room. There were always a few available, unlike the resorts where you have to search for a place to relax.
The location was great. It was close enough to the beaches and a larger supermarket. There was also a smaller market across the street. I would highly recommend this property to any family member or friend. The price is right for all that you get. The owner was fantastic. He was easy to deal with and gave us lots of helpful information. I can't say enough about our trip. We are already talking about going back again next year. Mike, Thanks for a memorable vacation. I can't wait to work with you again.
