We just came back from the beautiful Marriot Surf Club in aruba. It was fabulous! Super clean, room was huge! We rented a 2-bedroom for our family of 5 (myself and my husband plus our three boys...11, and twin 8year old boys). Lots to do at the Surf club all throughout the day. The "Den" was the boy's favourite...as was the lazy river. The beach could have been better though...lots of shells and fallen palm leaves and plastic cups all over the place. It's so windy there so everything gets blown all over the place. My son cut his foot on a shell the first day at the beach so we ventured to other beaches in the area ...Arashi beach and Eagle beach. These beaches were by far way nicer than Palm beach...all sand, beautiful water and waves, super clean, hardly any people. The one complaint we have about this hotel is the chair situation. You need to be out at the pool to reserve your chair by 7am...and most mornings, my husband was there and still there weren't any chairs left! It was ridiculous. Other guests told us that they were on their chair at 4:30am to reserve. The hotel policy is if you reserve before 7am then you must be physically present at your chair or security will remove your belongings. Believe it or not, these crazy people would go at 4:30am and sleep on their chair until 7am. This was not something we were planning on doing on our vacation so we switched it up. We drove to the surrounding beaches in the am, then we would come back to the condo for lunch, take the kids to the "Den" until 2:00pm, then go to the pool and get a chair. By 2:00pm there are lots of chairs to be had.
Regarding Vacation Candy, they were truly wonderful! We hadn't heard of them prior to booking this condo through Vrbo. Their customer service team is so dedicated to their customers. Communiation surpassed my expectations for a Vrbo rental. All emails were responded to promptly and pleasantly, good tips and information was provided to prepare us for our trip, and they followed up just before we left to check one last time if we had any questions. Thanks so much to the team at Vacation Candy!! We will definitely rent from you again. -

Surf club is really nice. Lazy river a lot of fun. Love the pool area for adults only. Snorkling a lot of fun. Wonderful restaurants in the area. People at owners desk not very friendly and pushier than they need to be.
