There's a large patio furnished in classic East Coast style, so you can step out in the morning, coffee in hand, and watch the sunrise o...ver the ocean from a comfy chair while still in your pajamas. <br/>Sliding glass doors lead from the patio to the spacious living room. Outfitted with sunny, plush sofas and an easy chair you'll love sinking into, it offers the same fabulous view of the beach-not to mention a new 60" HDTV, for viewing of a different kind. There's also a Blue Ray/DVD player, free wireless Internet access, and even a wet bar, so you just might want to spend more than a few evenings in. <br/>The dining area is attached to the living room, and it's decorated just as gorgeously. The table seats up to eight people comfortably, and there's additional seating for four at the nearby kitchen counter. <br/>If anything, the kitchen is even more spectacular than the rest of the condo. Equipped with stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and custom wood cabinets, it has everything you could possibly need, from coffee maker and toaster to cookware to tableware, to whip up and serve a seven-course meal, if you're so inclined. Of course, if your idea of a vacation involves virtually no cooking at all, there's a microwave so that you can reheat leftovers from your restaurant meals for a late-night snack. And because no one likes washing dishes, there's a dishwasher too. <br/>The luxuriousness continues in the bedrooms. The master suite, like the living room, opens onto the patio, so you'll have a view of the ocean directly from the king-size bed. If that's not pampering enough, there's also a 46" LED TV, a small table and chairs should you want to catch up on email, and a lovely coffered ceiling. The beautifully tiled en-suite bathroom has both a spacious tub and a walk-in shower, plus jack-and-jill sinks and a wealth of drawers and counter space for all your toiletries. <br/>The second and third bedrooms each have access to their own bathrooms as well-that's right, there are three full bathrooms in all. The second bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and 32" LED TV, while the third bedroom offers 2 twin beds. Fresh, crisp bedding and plump, thirsty towels await you; there's no need to bring your own. <br/>Should you want to do laundry, however, you don't have to leave the condo; Oceanside 109 has its own full-size washer and dryer, plus a utility sink for washing out the sand from your sandals. <br/>While Beverly Beach is just a stroll away via private access from Oceanside, the complex also has an expansive swimming pool, with plenty of deck area around it for drying off in the sun afterward. There's a heated Jacuzzi as well, perfect for unwinding at the end of another blissfully active day. <br/>And thanks to Oceanside's convenient location, you can make your vacation as action-packed as you can imagine.   This was listed as a luxury accomodation on Vrpros website. On the surface when you looked at it, it was. However, there were many issues. The spa tub blew black, dirty, swampy smelling water all over one of my girls when she used it, the patio door lock was broke so the only way to lock the door was with 2 plastic pipes (this door was right on the highway, so not being able to lock it was not great), 2 electrical outlets in 2 different bathrooms stopped working mid week (we tried the reset buttons on them, but it didn't work), we had to call them a number of times for things like the smoke detector beeping, no pool key at the unit (had to call twice!). Also this unit is right above the garage door, so everytime someone from the entire complex goes in or out of the garage, you hear the door loud and clear - especially in the kids bedroom which is directly above the door! Also says it is in a gated community - it is, but the only fence/gate is across the driveway - the rest is wide open to the very busy a1a Highway, which is between you and the beach (since we are from Canada, we didn't know that road was so busy). This is also the direction your patio faces - so if you don't mind having your morning coffee with the traffic, you're fine! This unit looks and sounds high end, but requires some attention - ie broken toilet seats and very loud, squeaky doors. Preparing the 7 course meal in the kitchen as they advertise would be easy will prove difficult - unless you can do so with no ovenware, 1 fryingpan and 3 small pots!! Also, if you are a tea drinker, bring your own kettle since there isn't one here. We boiled water in a pot all week! Also there are no garbage pails in any of the bathrooms (not a big deal, just annoying!). There is garage parking, which is great, but they don't give you a garage door opener, so everytime you return to the condo, you have to get out of the car, go around and into the garage and open it from inside. Not terribly convenient! Cell service is almost non-existent, so trying to talk to Vrpros office proved difficult. My cell phone bill will be wild (no us minutes), just from trying to talk with them to get things fixed. The staff tried to be helpful when I called, but it usually required sending a maintenance person, which they seem to be short on. So sometimes when they said someone would be there in an hour or two (ie when our smoke detector was beeping), they didn't show up for 4 or 5 hours - making it 9:30pm in the smoke detector case. We had been driving since early morning and had already headed to bed by the time he got there. My husband had already turned it off himself by then. This is not my first property rental (although it is the first with Vacation Rental Pros), and I really am not that hard to please. But I do expect to get what is advertised and I paid for. I don't feel I did in this case. I could have spent less on a lower end property, and been satified because that's what I paid for. But I paid more, so I expected more. All of the reviews I read on other properties managed by this company were great (there were no review for this property yet), so I don't know if I got the one bad one or what. But I do know that based on this experience, I won't be renting this unit again!
