Enjoy the beautiful waters and meandering trails of the Intracoastal Waterway from our ground-floor condo at Tidelands 1817. Located in the exclusive, gated Ocean Hammock complex, our luxurious condo is a wonderful "home base" for your Palm Coast vacation!<br/>And when you stay at Tidelands 1817, you can enjoy all of the amenities of the Tidelands Estates. Spread over 80 acres of lush community grounds surrounded by water on three sides, this community includes a clubhouse with fitness center, and game room; large swimming pool and hot tubs; and so much more! The atmosphere is family-friendly, but some areas are designated for adults, g...iving you the best of both worlds. Walking trails wind through the grounds, as does the Palm Coast Waterway. And the coquina-shell beach is breathtaking!<br/>But first you'll have to leave the condo, and that may be difficult once you settle into this comfortable, pleasant, beautifully appointed space. The first place you'll be attracted to is the lanai, a big screened-in room just off the great room. Sitting out here, you can play peekaboo with the Intracoastal (just beyond the greenery) and enjoy the balmy breezes. If you're so inclined, you'll find that your free wireless Internet service works well on the lanai, and the casual table makes a nice laptop stand. But you may prefer the company of a frosty drink and some good friends!<br/>The lanai is the best place to watch the sunset over the Intracoastal, and once twilight turns to darkness, step indoors and enjoy the comforts of our living and dining area. Everything in here is airy and light, just right for tired golfers, sightseers, or beachcombers after a busy day!<br/>Flop down onto the living room sofa (which converts into a bed for 2) and turn on the huge HDTV, slip your favorite movie into the DVD player, or put a soothing CD into the stereo system. A plush recliner beside a reading lamp invites you to dip into that beach novel you brought . . . and then lulls you to sleep within minutes, of course! Well, why not? You've got so many things to do and see here in Palm Coast, you need a little downtime whenever you can find it!<br/>For the livelier members of your group, our gourmet kitchen and dining area offer the opportunity to concoct a delicious feast, engage in an evening of cards or board games, or simply enjoy reminiscences that begin over dinner and continue all evening. Our kitchen contains brand-new stainless-steel appliances, wooden cabinetry, a tiled floor, and granite countertops, plus the full complement of cookware, dishes, and utensils. It's tempting to give it a whirl . . . or, if you decline to cook while on vacation, just use the kitchen for its time-saving devices: microwave, toaster oven, ice and water in the fridge door, dishwasher, blender, and more. Palm Coast has many outstanding restaurants!<br/>The living, dining, and kitchen areas of Tidelands 1817 are open-plan, so you can see right through the lanai out to the grounds even when you're at the sink. This is great for keeping the group together. But for bedtime, you want quiet and privacy, and our 2 bedrooms guarantee you a comfortable night's rest.<br/>The master suite is very generously proportioned, boasting a king-sized bed (heaven!), TV, cushioned reading chair, and big bright window. The bath here has his-and-her vanities, a walk-in shower, and smooth tiling. You will love the privacy and spaciousness of this suite.<br/>The guest bedroom is cozy, with a queen-sized bed and a TV. It's convenient to the second bathroom, shared with the living area. This bath has a tub as well as a shower (perfect for small children who balk at taking a shower!), and all of the towels and linens for every bed and bath are waiting for you here. We also have a laundry room with washer and dryer for your use.   We arrived to a very clean, very well maintained condo. Furnishings were exceptional. During our stay we were able to sit on our patio and watched the boats travel the intracoastal waterway. Dogs are allowed on the complex but their owners supervise their pets, keep them quiet and always pick up after them. If you want a vacation 'with action', stay closer to Daytona Beach. But if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is your place.

  When we arrived at Tidelands, we had of course seen pictures of the property online, but they did not do the place justice! It was so much more beautiful "in person"! My family and I couldn't believe we had gotten such a great deal on such an amazing place. I don't know how to describe what it feels like to arrive, after a few hours on the road, to find that the place we were going to stay in was so perfect. The time we spent there together as a family was even more special because of how we were treated by the staff at Vacation Rental Pros! Thanks for making this, one of the most memorable vacations for me and my family! We are already looking forward to booking next year's vacation spot with you guys!

  The one suggestion would be to have the pool open longer during the day. The day is normally spent golfing, etc and when we came back to the condo it was closed at 6 pm.
