My wife, 2 kids, and I traveled to Palm Coast, FL and met my parents there for a week stay. The condo was perfectly situated with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with good spacing in the unit. It was well furnished with most things that we needed, and the master bathroom was huge. The shower unit in there was very large and spacious and the furniture was good quality. Overall, it was well-decorated and felt like home.
The best part was the view; a very large balcony with an amazing view of the ocean. We would often just open the sliding glass door and have the sound of the ocean just take over the condo. It was incredibly relaxing and worth the cost. I would often wake up in the morning and read out on the balcony before everyone else got up. The scenery was amazing - I would see pelicans, dolphins, and other sea birds actively swimming and flying around.
Most of our days first started out at the beach, where we would wade around the ocean, search for sea shells, and build sand castles. The beach is very private and not crowded at all. The sand is more crushed sea shells and sand, but it was very pretty and easy to walk on barefoot. After that, we would go to one of the pools that was zero depth (also had a little water slide/park set) and stay there until about 430-5pm.
The property is heavily secured with an initial security gate to enter with a guard staffed 24/7 to verify you can come in. After that, the condos and some of the houses are behind a second security gate that closes at 9pm (you need a key code to enter after 9pm). We really liked this aspect.
My oldest daughter accidentally locked one of the bedroom doors and we contact Steve Milo's team and they quickly resolved the problem that day. Very good response time and customer service.
Don't believe what you read:
I saw things like "no sidewalks to pool", "long walks to pool or beach", "rattlesnake breeding ground", etc. I found none of them made an impact on our stay. Some condo units are a bit further than others, but none of them were more than probably 1/10th to 2/10ths of a mile away. This unit was very close to everything. There were no sidewalks, but there is very little traffic; it is a very private area with only residents driving (usually around dinner time). Not sure where the rattlesnake breeding ground comments came from; we didn't see any signs for it and any snakes. Lizards are every where, but it's Florida and provides entertainment for the kids!
Tips:
- There are luggage carts located in the parking garage of each unit; take advantage of them upon arrival and departure
- Buy water shoes for the kids; the ocean has rocks/reef close to the shore and they are beneficial if they want to swim past the rocks
- Trash drop is in more of a closet right in the parking garage; there is a sign on a door that you must open to put your trash (the first trash room that actually smelled good; can't explain it)
- We would often have dinner in Flagler Beach, which is about 10-15 minutes away; the restaurants there are excellent - we never had a bad or mediocre meal
- Daytona Beach is only about 30-40 minutes away and St. Augustine is only about 25 minutes away (take a1a for the scenic view of the ocean)
- Take advantage of the pools, hot tubs, game room, exercise room, and entertainment room located on the property -

We had a great time and this condo was just beautiful. The view from the balcony made all our cares wash away-incrediable. Only problems we had were the screen door on balcony was broken off when we got there but maintenance came and fixed that quickly. Also, the soffit on the balcony was still broken and hanging off (previous guest mentioned this also) and still had not been fixed when we got there. Pieces of it were on the balcony. It made a lot of noise banging in the wind but we didn't let that spoil our stay. All in all, a lovely condo, best view, and we would definately stay there again. Hopefully, the soffit will be fixed by then.

JacksonvilleA beautiful and relaxing vacation
Left on 05/13/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This unit is wonderful. Fully equipped, with comfortable furniture and several cushy lounge chairs on the balcony. Watch the sun rise, or take the (slow) elevator down to the beach. The dollies in the parking garage make it easy to move luggage.
The Cinnamon Beach gated resort has an adult pool that looks olympic size and a family "walk-in" pool with snack bar and game room; each has a hot tub. Golf at Palm Harbor on the mainland is 10 easy minutes away. Publix and a wonderful wine/cheese store are nearby, but the best restaurants require a drive to St augustine or Flagler Beach.
This resort is not commercialized - it's perfect for people who want relaxation. -

Liked the location and the view was great. Only problem was the soffit above our balcony was in disrepair, thus creating unsecured soffit peices that rattled and could come off. Otherwise, the area was nice.

It was a wonderful place for us to celebrate a marriage in the family. There was ample room for all us to comfortably be together. The view was especially fabulous! The only problem being the "broken down" elevator when we arrived. A bit difficult in getting to the 6th floor with all of our luggage and weary travel bodies.

Bloomfield, INNice but needs improvments
Left on 02/17/2012 for a stay in January 2012
The living room furniture was so uncomfortable it was barely useable. the couch and loveseat should be taken out in the ocean and deep sixed. The telivision sound was irratating, sometimes the sound and picture would just go away, on some channels the picture and sound were not in zink. The commercials were so loud we would have to mute. May I sugest to the owner to purchase a decent couch, not one of those foldout bed things, and maybe a recliner or two, they don't have to be a Lazyboy.

Our Thanksgiving vacation was a real delight at unit 661. Our family truly appreciated the relaxing time to re-energize as we enjoyed sharing our family memories and values. Our time was a blessing from God and we were privileged to be at Cinnamon Beach together. Our thanks to all of the wonderful VRP team!

The condo was very spacious for our family of four adults and two small children. We had a great time at the beach and the view from the unit is exceptional. We arrived 30 minutes before our check in time and Justin, the property manager, arranged for us to check in early. This was a big help since we were traveling with children.

Roswell, GAAnother wonderful week
Left on 08/29/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We stayed in unit 661 the week the hurricane was moving up from the Bahamas. It churned up the water and created rip tides that were scary, but the beach was still beautiful. This was our second stay in unit 661 and we continued to love the gorgeous view

Tampa, FLFabulous oceanfront condo!
Left on 07/18/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This was really a fabulous unit. Gorgeous accommodations, very roomy for multiple families, excellent view of the beach and close to the pool and club house. Well done. Thank you for a memorable week at the beach with family and friends! Only complaint is that Everett at the security gate copped a major attitude with us at check in. We have been renting here awhile and it seems they keep getting stricter every year (ie. no towels at the pool, having to have your pass scanned every time you enter, etc.) However, it is a small price to pay for staying in such a lovely community.

Roswell, GAA perfect vacation in a perfect condo
Left on 06/13/2011 for a stay in June 2011
My husband and I have just returned from a week at Cinnamon Beach. We rented #661 from Steve Milo and we were happy from the first minute we walked through the doors of the condo. It was beautifully decorated and spotless. There were plenty of towels, hangers, glasses, and the views from the balcony were gorgeous. We were there to celebrate our 44th anniversary, and we couldn't have chosen a better location or a better condo. Check-in and check-out was well-organized and went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Hockessin, DECondo rental is the way to go!
Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
I will never stay in a hotel on vacation again. For price, space and amenities this condo can't be beat. This condo looked like a model home and had all the conveniences (w/d, cable, internet, kitchen appliances/utensils) of home. It has a great view of the beach from the balcony and the property grounds were well maintained. I would rent this condo on my next vacation.
