Description from the manager
They say that sea air makes you sleepy. If true, it's a shame - you might miss an amazing Atlantic Ocean sunrise from your private beachfront balcony. Not to worry, the spectacular show is yours to enjoy every day of your stay at Cinnamon Beach - and you don't have to walk very far at all.<br/> Cinnamon Beach Condo 655's location is the absolute tops. Directly on the beach, just above the private beach access, you wouldn't be the first guest to never leave your balcony at all. StLouisMom3
St. LouisFabulous beachfront setting but with a few problems
Left on 08/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Our extended family (grandparents, mom & dad, and 3 kids) spent a week in this unit. We had stayed in a different unit 4 summers ago and were very impressed with how well kept up the overall amenities were. The pools looked just as we remembered them. The kids loved the splash zone, but we did notice that the interior of the "dumping bucket" could use a good scrubbing. We were surprised to find that the pools no longer offered complimentary towels as they had 4 years ago for that was very helpful. The boardwalks were well maintained and the beach was clean and quiet. There are large rocks that disappear beneath the waves at high tide near the boardwalk, but a short walk in either direction avoids them. Our kids loved looking around them at low tide for sea creatures. Shells were plentiful and the sand was soft. The waves were perfect for boogie boarding. Even in the height of the day there was plenty of space on the beach.
We loved the view from this unit and its proximity to a boardwalk to the beach. The unit was extremely spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the second table in the kitchen which worked well for card games or puzzles. Having a third bathroom was very nice. The air conditioning worked well and we loved having ceiling fans, too. We had a slight problem with a drain, and the maintenance man was very prompt in addressing it.
A few negatives: The soundproofing between our unit and the 6th floor unit above was nonexistent. We had extremely heavy-footed upstairs neighbors who stayed up late and rose early which made sleeping difficult at times. There were only 3-4 washcloths for a condo which sleeps 8. The glasses in the kitchen were also greatly lacking--with the exception of wine glasses and shot glasses. Several of the throw pillows on the couch were coming apart at the seams. The linens in the master bedroom were ripped in places (comforter, fitted sheets, and throw pillows). The metal chairs on the balcony were rusted, though plentiful. The ceiling of the unit had visible dust on it near the vents and the vents were rusty. The master bathroom had some mold growing near the shower.
The unit has keyless entry, which was nice for a large group. Unfortunately we found that the code wasn't specific to our unit when one of our party accidentally went to the same unit in the building next door and found the code opened that unit as well. -

Knoxville, TNWonderful Vacation!
Left on 07/20/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We had a great time. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room in the condo. The 3 bathrooms were a great amenity. The balcony was amazing and the view was beautiful. Even though we were there during Storm Debby, the breeze from the ocean enabled us to sit on the balcony during the entire week. We never had trouble getting an elevator and the pools were refreshing and so nice. We loved the keyless entry. We will definitely be back next year. Vacation rental pros were great to work with.

Jacksonville, FLlack of carts are the biggest problem
Left on 06/18/2012 for a stay in June 2012
My main complaint is that there are only 2 carts provided per building. With all of the people coming in and going out on Saturdays, I basically had to carry everything up and down by hand. Since I was with 2 elderly people and Tom, my husband, had had knee surgery, it was all left up to me (his wife). You need at least 5 carts per building. I would imagine satisfying your customers in this regard would reap benefits down the road. Willie Bell

Mitchell, SD655 Cinnamon Beach Stay Spring 2011
Left on 03/15/2011 for a stay in February 2011
The property has an excellent view of the ocean and is much the same layout as the one we stayed at in the fall of 2010. I found the last one to be a bit more welcoming with a guest registry to leave thoughts, food recommendations, tourist info and more! I would definitely suggest NY Joes Italian right across the bridge in Palm Coast, amazing food! We went back twice!! A map with more information about the amenities such as pool, fitness center and more would be helpful. We explored and learned our way though, we will be back. Definitely a peaceful stay at the right price. Thanks!

San Diego, CaliforniaRude cleaning staff
Left on 08/09/2010 for a stay in August 2010
The cleaning staff was rude! They woke my guests up by coming in unannounced at 8:00 am the day we were leaving - even though check-out isn't until 10:00 am and people were still in bed. They were actaually trying to clean the place while people were waking up, showering, eating breakfast - no kidding! Then, when my guests were a few minutes late checking out because the cleaning people were in the way, the cleaner then said they were charging us an extra day and told us to call her supervisor. That supervisor (Rick) was very rude, said to call the office and hung up on my guests. Very unclassy and very rude. They will tell you that this is a story I we are making up but I tell you it is not. I actually live at Cinnamon Beach and was getting blow-by-blow updates as all of this was going on.

Byron, ILPerfect end to our vacation
Left on 06/10/2010 for a stay in June 2010
After 7 days at Disney World, we had two days left of a 10-day vacation. Our daughter and son-in-law are teachers and were interested in the history of St augustine. I contacted Vrpros about a beach property near St augustine, but with short notice they had nothing closer than this property, which is about 20 miles from St augustine. We decided to take it, and are very happy that we did. The quality of the property and amenities more than made up for the distance. Our grandchildren are ages 4 and 7; they enjoyed the pool and beach very much while their parents (who also loved the property and beach) enjoyed St augustine. We managed to tear the grandchildren away from the property for a trolley tour and the alligator Farm. This was the perfect end to our vacation.

Left on 10/26/2009 for a stay in September 2009
This is our second visit to the complex. The pool is great for our little ones. It was a little quiet, because of few occupied units, but it was perfect for us. The unit was wonderful. I would certainly rent again! Thank you!

Condo was in a superb location and ideal for our party of three couples. Really enjoyed the early morning walks along the beach. The pool areas were very well kept and the hot tub much used after our rounds of golf. Plenty of great tips on dining etc from Steve Milo.

Douglas, GAWe have stayed 2 Years In A Row And Will Definitly Make It 3.
Left on 08/18/2008 for a stay in August 2008
This is the absolute best place we have ever stayed. We are a family of 4 with two small children. The spacious condo and all of it's amenities will give you all the comforts of home. The only difference is outside on the balcony you have a breathtaking view of the atlantic Ocean. Awesome views and easy access to a more private beach than anywhere else we have been is a definite plus. Splash Zone and the pool are great for the whole family. Speaking of family that is what is most important about our stay. This is a relaxed atmosphere that is very family oriented. We look forward to coming back in 2009.

Left on 08/02/2008 for a stay in July 2008
I would recommend this rental to all my friends. The condo community was neat and clean and the grounds were beautiful. Our rental was spacious enough for both families to enjoy comfortably. We enjoyed staying at Cinnamon Beach, just a short drive from Marineland and St. Augustine. We are already planning a trip for next year. Thanks Steve!

Jacksonville, FLGREAT WEDDING LOCATION
Left on 06/16/2008 for a stay in June 2008
We were there from Friday, June 6 through Saturday June 14 along with friends and family in 7 other units who were gathered for our Suday June 8 wedding and I can't say enough good things about the location, units, general overall condition of the property. Everyone had a simply wonderful time and everyone was very pleased with their accommodations. If I had to register any complaint, it would be the 10:00 a.m. checkout. Even one hour later would have made a big difference. But please know that we will be returning again and again for future vacations. Lyn Jarrell Mulvey

Left on 04/09/2008 for a stay in March 2008
Wow! The four of us, including 2 children 7 & 8, stayed in 655 Cinnamon Beach and absolutely loved it! Everything was spectacular! Unit was very clean, and seemed even larger than in photos. Condo was very quiet. Buckets for the beach were appreciated. Would have been helpful to have food delivery and visitor process explained, as well as a map of the entire Ocean Hammock area. Would highly recommend to friends!
