This comfortable 1 bedroom/1 bath condo is a great place for your vacation stay.
The condo includes mirrored accent walls, ceiling fans, tiled floors in the living room and a carpeted bedroom. For activity this condo has two TVs, a DVD player, WIFI, long distance to US and Canada, and a stereo system.

We stayed in the suite for a week during our spring break holiday. The Biarritz is a modest condo development that is located approximately 15 minutes by foot from the main strip in Palm Springs. There are 2 large vacant lots on either side of the building and a slightly sketchy apartment complex behind (look at google street view). It is on a busy arterial road so there is a steady roar of traffic at the pool and in the suite when the door is open. Not the most relaxing location. By the way, it is not an "olympic sized" pool by any stretch of the imagination.
While this was advertised as sleeping 4 it is only meant for 2. The biggest problem is that the bathroom is located in the bedroom. Anyone sleeping on the sofabed in the living room has to intrude into the bedroom to access the bathroom. This layout was not clear to us in the material we looked at before booking.
The other aspect of this suite that we did not like was that it was carpeted in every room with older shaggy carpet - including the bathroom. It did not seem fresh. However, the kitchen was updated and everything was in good working order. There were two flat screen tvs in the suite but no wifi. Both sliding doors were difficult to operate.
We got the impression that kids were not welcome in this development (we were not given any warning about this when we rented). We have two well behaved and quiet teenagers and still received a frosty reception at the pool. We were the only family in sight all week and felt out of place (in fact, the only people under 60). On the bright side, the residents were quiet and we did not have any concerns about security or night noise.
We were happy with the service of the Rental Connection and would use them again - just not for a condo in this complex. -

The location was great and so were the other residents. This was NOT the unit we picked, the one we had chosen was renovated while this one was quite dated. Overall the place was pretty clean, and siuted our needs. I would only recommend this to someone else if they didn't have a rental car and needed to be close to downtown.

We paid for an upgraded unit with a gourmet kitchen. When we turned on the oven, the unit filled with smoke and there was the smell of electrical wire burning. We were finally relocated the first night into a low end motel. The next day after several hours we were relocated into a very small, very tired unit with ancient applicances, no soap or toilet paper etc. The food we purchased spoiled because the power was shut off in the first unit while we were at the motel. All in all a ruined trip.
