NYC Girls Getaway
New York, NYAmazing Oasis in the Desert
Left on 05/13/2013 for a stay in May 2013
My friends and I stayed for a long weekend in May for a girls getaway. The house is beautifully appointed with en suite bathrooms, tvs and walk in closets in every room. Kitchen has every tool a chef will need, towels and bathroom amenities are luxurious and everything you will need is on site. Outdoors is just as well appointed as the indoors with plenty of patio furniture on each patio including enough lounge chairs for everyone, though they can use new umbrellas. The ones they have don't have wheels on them and they are very hard to move when you need to find some shade, a third umbrella for larger parties would be nice as well. Also, be sure to let them know what temperature to set the pool at prior to arriving. We couldn't get it to cool off below 90 degrees the entire trip so mainly resorted to swimming at night. Overall a fantastic experience and we plan to return.

I'm so glad that Amber had a great stay at this property. I want her and future guests to know that, at her suggestion, I've purchased heavy wheeled umbrella stands that won't blow over in the wind and are easy to move.
While the pool, like most Palm Springs pools, has a pool heater, it doesn't have a pool cooler. When it is over 100 degrees, as it was when Amber was here, the pool does get warm. I'm afraid nothing can be done about this. -

We were looking forward to our Palm Springs vacation and I can honestly say the Villa Del Valle house exceeded our high expectations. It is a beautiful home, desert garden and pool area that was perfect for our family vacation.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We rented the home for 3 weeks and it met every expectation we had. From the outdoor cooking area, the fire pit and on those cooler nights sitting by the fireplace reading a book. Plenty of room with great spots to catch an after noon snooze. Thank you for the pool toys we were all adults and really enjoyed just relaxing in the water and floating in the sun.

We had a fantastic time in this beautifully designed, tasteful villa.
The photos look great, but the place was bigger and better than we expected. Private drive, large garage, lots of parking space. The grounds were well planned and maintained, very private and allowed good separation of seating areas/sun terraces around the property for individuals or groups. The pool and spa were clean and lots of bathing towels available. All beds and furnishings were comfortable and the fans and air conditioning worked efficiently. Two spacious living rooms functioned well to suit different tastes. Well equipped kitchen and convenient bbq area. The service we received was very good and we would book this property again. -

Left on 07/03/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Went with my 80 + year old parents. Perfect mix of indoor/outdoor living areas. Easy for them to get in and out of the pool. Lots of different areas to hang out so we weren't on top of each other.
Efficient and quick check in/check out. Central location to downtown Palm Springs. -

Los AngelesFabulous Home You Won't Want To Leave!
Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in May 2012
In fact, we did not leave. We went out to eat the first night and never left the house after that.
I emailed probably 15 different vacation homes in PS and this was the last one I called. When I saw it, I knew I wanted to stay here. And now that I have stayed here, I have to say: as amazing and enticing as the photos were - this house is much much better than the photos. It will exceed your expectations. Everything in this home is top of the line and high quality; from the construction of the house to the furnishings, decor and the details that make a vacation home (linens, kitchen equipment, etc). This home has it all and what it does have is the best. The couches and furnishings are so, so comfy. The beds are luxurious. There are eight comfortable lounge chairs and a great lawn area around the pool perfect for laying out in. Even the pool towels are fabulous - like blankets. We sprawled them out on the lawn and basked in the PS sunlight. The salt water pool was a huge plus for us. We felt like we were in a boutique 4 room hotel. The rooms were spacious and hotel like, each with en suite bathrooms. I can't rave about this house enough. We had all our meals by the pool around the outdoor dining table. We cooked amazing meals with many chefs in the kitchen - plenty of room. The property is completely gated, perfect for our dog. I could go on and on... just book it. You won't regret it. -

Left on 03/21/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Absolutely beautiful home in Palm Springs. We traveled with two large dogs and our 8 month old twins.
The home is a little less than a mile to downtown restaurants and attractions and about 5 mins walking distance from Ruth Hardy Park. The property is tucked away off a less than impressive street.
The home is private, gated, and completely enclosed. The pictures of the house don't do the property justice. House is gorgeous and the views from the home are breathtaking.
The home has everything you could need to feel at home. Kitchen is well appointed. Nice appliances.
The bedroom layout and floorplan of the home allows for privacy if you share the house with family or friends.
Yard and pool/ spa were incredible. Temperature of the pool and spa was easily adjustable from a control panel inside the house. We were able to heat the pool to a temperature that was comfortable for the kids. Spa heated quickly. Pool was cleaned and landscaping was done twice during the week. Dogs loved the huge yard.
Lots of amazing art work all over the house. A little stressful for us with two curious and crawling babies. There really isn't a baby friendly area of the home so it's important to keep a close watch. Lots of things kids can break and lots of things that can break kids.
Besides the property itself, a huge pro for this house was the housecleaning. We rent a lot of houses and this place was the cleanest house we have rented. Everything was immaculate. Appliances were so clean they looked brand new.
Only suggestion would be for the owners for upgrade or clean the shower head. We only used the master bath shower and it had a lot of build up so the water stream wasn't great. (not such a big deal overall). -

Hillsborough CAPerfect getaway
Left on 02/28/2012 for a stay in February 2012
From the moment we arrived at Villa Del Valle we felt we had begun a wonderful vacation. We rented the house with 3 other couples. The size and configuration was perfect. Each couple had a room with a private in suite bathroom, and a private patio. One couple stayed in the casita, which had easy access to the rest of the house. The spanish decor was great, with authentic antiques and interesting art. The pool/spa area was surrounded by high walls creating total privacy. In the pool area there is an outdoor fire pit with built in seating. Also there is an out door kitchen with a BBQ . This entire patio area has a central music system similar to Pandora so it had choices that would fit anyones taste. My wife and I could not have been happier with this rental. We live in a beautiful home in Hillsborough Ca and we like to travel in style and this property met all our expectations. We did not want to leave at the end of the week and are already talking about trying to return next year.

Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Villa del Valle is a wonderful property situated in a residential area, but still incredibly private, quiet and secure. We went as a destination Christmas trip so that my husband and I, our grown children (daughter, son and girlfriend) as well as two large dogs could all be together. The best things about the property were the ample living space, lovely furnishings and fabulous art, an incredibly well stocked kitchen; we did a lot of cooking, and of course a lot of privacy, and space for any activity. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and family room, or outdoors. We barely watched television, but appreciated the quality and number of televisions available.
The pool area is lovely. A grassy lawn borders the walled border, and a courtyard patio borders the other side of the pool. We didn't use the back yard or private patios at all, but I imagine they are great little nooks for more serene moments. The spa and pool were heated and wonderful. We enjoyed wine and hors d'oevres around the ice-fire pit, and breakfast at the outdoor dining area as well. There are so many thoughtful touches.
There is a big park within walking distance. We drove whenever we wanted to go into town, which was quite close.
There are many, many positives to this property. The few things that were a little surprising but really no big deal were that we had to put all the cushions out on our arrival, we were responsible for taking out the trash/recycle and washing pool towels before we left.
We really appreciated that they allowed large dogs. I think the dogs had as much fun as we did. They really were almost gleeful!
