Luxury 2 Bdr 2 Bth Home in South Palm Springs

As you enter the home, you are greeted with 10’ high ceilings and wall of glass which creates a feeling of space and frames the striking views of the pool area, San Jacinto Mountains and Palm Springs. This home was completely renovated in 2008 and features

a custom interior with dramatic living & dining areas.

Each Bdr features a king size bed with luxurious linens & bedding, a sitting area, ample closet space and a flat panel HDTV. Each bathroom has granite countertops and frameless glass & granite shower enclosures. The master suite is directly accessible to the

pool.

... The kitchen has the same slate flooring as the rest of the home with granite counter tops, Viking gas range and appliances along with a recessed sound system.

The large living room is a great place to relax or entertain. Luxurious seating takes advantage of the views as well as the 48” flat panel HD TV and media system.

Out on the pool deck is a Pebble Tech Pool and in ground spa. The elevated back yard provides an extremely private outdoor living and entertainment area.

This retreat is within a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs, with it’s southern location, it’s a quick ride to other desert cities to enjoy golf, tennis, dining and shopping and access to the Palm Springs trail system.Children OK over 12 and No Pets

  Since we could not locate a hotel in Palm Springs that we felt would give enough space, luxury, in a quiie ambiance, w decided to try a vacation rental. Smokewood Palms was the first to show up on Google, and after extensive reasearch on numerous different homes, we decided to go for it.
  Not quite knowing what to expect, as we had never rented in the us, and in France, a certain level of disappointment is always round the corner, waiting for you by the door.
  
  The rental process was extremely smooth and simple. Fill in a form, sign a contract, provide a credit card number. We were all set, and provided with the adress, and instructions to ring someone when we would be 30 minutes from there. This is what we did, and as our GPS took us up the final road in a pitch black night with 102°, another car was 200 ft ahead of us, which stopped in frint of "our" house; Time for the very friendly guy to switch all lights on, we were in. He took us round, and the house was nothing short of spectacular. Online pictures are just what you get. What you get is actually better.
  
  Typical 1950s house, in a sought after neighbourhood, up a hill, protected from the wind, offering a very nice view over the valley and the mountains on the other side. It has been beutifully refurbished in full 21st century taste, packed with the best amenities. No expense has been spared, and details have been tastefully crafted eveywhere. This house is opulent, albeit does not stink money, if you see my point. Everything is right, where it should be, and very good taste. Eventhough I would not take it all back home, I could not see one thing I'd would want out of my sight.
  If there was one single thing to improve, that would be a better black-out in the main bedroom. That's all really.
  
  This home is only meant for 2 couples, with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Lighting is easy to work out. Garden beautifully designed with self watering device. Great outdoors furniture, with outstanding spa and pool. No ugly liner in there, no tiles, beautiful stone. This is awesome.
  
  Check-out process was as smooth as check in. The boss called in the morning, allowed a late check-out, came up, picked up the key, and we were done. Friendly, nice guy, very customer oriented.

  The location and amenities offered by this home are perfect for a couple to "get away from it all" Quiet neighborhood, great location and the house is beautiful!
