Sandacre sits on a rare one-acre lot in the heart of Palm Springs’ famous Movie Colony neighborhood. Discover a taste of Hollywood’s golden era at this picturesque Spanish Estate dating back to 1933. The home was extensively renovated to enhance the splendor of its history, while updating the amenities to contemporary standards of luxury. High gates and tall shrubs provide you with complete privacy.
During the peace of the morning, pour a cup of coffee and stroll the grounds, discovering all that Sandacre has to offer. The classic tiled patio features both in-ground pool and hot tub. Relax on stylish deck furniture and look up to th...e rugged San Jacinto Mountains. Seek shelter under the poolside cabana or spend quiet afternoons on the second, covered patio. Challenge guests to a game of doubles on the private tennis court, then replenish your energy with an al fresco feast, prepared on the grill. An outdoor fireplace sets the tone for memorable evenings under the stars.
Elegant beamed ceilings hang atop the creamy hues of the great room, and light streams in through Spanish-style doors. The living room houses a plasma TV: just one of the villa’s many technological touches, including a home-theater system, Wi-Fi and more. Guests can chat to you from the living room, as you prepare a gourmet feast in the chef-appointed kitchen. Grand meals can be served in the charming dining room while quick bites can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar.
Sandacre’s five bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each presenting its own, unique vista of the grounds. The Master bedroom houses a fireplace at the foot of its four-poster bed. The second and third bedrooms are interconnected, while the fourth includes a cozy Double bed. It’s rumored that Marilyn Monroe frequented the property and preferred the comfort of the fifth bedroom, in the tower.
You may never want to leave Sandacre, but if you do, there’s lots to explore. The Movie Colony neighborhood makes for fascinating walks as its rich history unfolds before your eyes. Cruise down Palm Canyon Drive where you’ll find everything from upscale shops to fine dining, art galleries to vibrant nightlife and more. Appreciate your natural surroundings on one of Palm Springs’ many golf courses or head out to Joshua Tree National Park to experience the beauty of the desert.

It was all we imagined it would be. We have a wonderful time.

I was surprised that the kitchen did not have pot holders or extra towels in the kitchen. Everything else was in good order. The furniture in the family room would need a good cleaning the chairs had stains on them. The door handle in one of the bedrooms fell off and the guests had to go outside by the carriage house to get back in. Other than that we had a wonderful time - Barbara B., California, USA

I was concerned when we were handed over to another company on the ground in Palm Springs. I would give Homesrun a score of 3 on a scale of 5. There were a number of problems with the house - flood, master shower head didn\'t work properly, a misrepresentation of one of the bedrooms (One large bedroom was a converted garage room that you could only enter through another bedroom). This is NOT mentioned in the literature. Main conceriege for our house went on vacation and we were left with a guy who had only been on the job for a few months. Does not know much about Palm Springs. Very nice however, found our granddaughters necklace and mailed it back to her which was very nice. Generally speaking, the interior of Sandacre could use an update. It is really a 3 bedroom house. The garage bedroom has a huge gap running along the bottom of the garage door that can allow critters in the house. The kitchen appliances are great. - Lynn G., New York, USA

Property is magnificent.Having a private tennis court and pool made for the best vacation ever! There are, however,a few leaks that I feel must have been known by the owner and not adressed.Other than a few small issues-the place was well tended and,in short, heavenly! - Deirdre D., Oregon, USA
