For fans of Midcentury modern architecture this is a great place to experience the house's style, comfort, and open-floor plan. In addition, the big yard with barbeque area and a nice-size pool make it an attractive stay for both children and adults. Very private and cozy. Great kitchen, appliences, beds... A perfect palce for a romantic gateway or a family retreat away from civilization (with all the luxury, of course).
Some negative points: We didn't have hot water the first night because they had forgotten to turn on the water heater. The Internet password had to be reset for some reason and we were without Internet for a day. The house is not a walking distance from the main street (which we knew), but we didn't realize that some of the smaller planes landing in Palms Springs fly near by. The propane in the barbeque finished as soon as we started the barbeque. We had to cook our meat inside in the oven. Finally, in the guest book there were too many "don't"s or else...
