Every cabinet in the kitchen had a label, making it easy to find things. That was nice.

This was a nice experience with family all together to share my wife's big 50 birthday. The accommodations were great and enough room for all my family. The staff was really helpful. I would recommend this place to my friends and family

We rented this awesome property for golf trip with 8 guys. The house was perfect. Lots of space beautiful pool area and tons of glasses, dishes, towels etc. Overall the house was very clean and in a good location near the airport.
Would stay here again in a minute.

15 family members joined together in this beautiful home to enjoy a wonderful Christmas. The home is gorgeous and fit our needs perfectly. We cooked a fabulous Christmas dinner in the beautiful kitchen with everything we needed. (kitchen knives are a bit dull and lacking large cutting boards). The location was great and if you're a golfer(s) (which our group is) the golf couse right out the backyard was beautiful! We had a wonderful stay!!
Drawbacks...the bed pillows and bath towels were not up to par. The bedroom with bunk beds off the garage is freezing at night...the wall heater didn't seem to heat the room. Only blew in cool air.

House was great. Close to everything in Palm Springs. Roomy, slept the whole team, including coaches and their families with plenty of breathing room. Loved the pool, and billards table.
Gorgeous home with all the amenities!

I rented this home for a 3-day weekend for a bachelorette party with 13 girls. As soon as I walked in the home, I was so happy and knew I made the right choice. The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and organized. The home had plenty of beds for everyone which were fairly comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of glasses and dishes for both indoor and outdoor use. The main complaint I had was that there were not enough paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) for the amount of people the house holds. We ran out of toilet paper on the third day we were there. Also the house only has 4 small dish clothes which was not enough for the amount of dishes we were doing. We ended up having to do a load of laundry just so we could have some dry dish towels for the last two days.
Great House For Vacation

This is a great house for a vacation with a bunch of people. Either family reunion, bachelor/ette party or other big group. Pool was always cool, lime trees were a cool feature, house was big, and there were plenty of kitchen amenities to accommodate big groups. Only negative was difficulties with air conditioner. Hard to get it really cold.

The home was just as wonderful as the last time I stayed there. All of us felt as though we were on a private resort get-away. It was incredibley relaxing, as well as exciting. There is plenty of seating areas for everyone in the residence, as well as activities within the property, swimming, barbequing, playing pool, playing chess, relaxing in the hammock, etc...Wonderful stay!!!

The house was great! Checked in on Friday. The pool was a disaster (trees on the golf course blow leaves directly into the pool when the wind gusts). I called the agency. They had someone out there within the hour to clean it. Good work!
Overall, the house was excellent. Good size although it does look larger in the pictures. The pool is nice but a bit skinny. There are several different lounge areas to hangout in groups. Good privacy from the neighbors and still sheltered somewhat from the golf course. Not too far from the main district.

Great Home for Gatherings & Reunions
Left on 01/11/2010 for a stay in December 2009 | TracyB
This is the third time I've rented a vacation home in Palm Springs, and for
this occasion (a small family reunion) this property was nearly perfect. It's
completey walled & gated around the perimeter of the property so it was
safe for all the kids and for our dog to roam freely.
There is an additional room in the 3 car garage that was like a kids dorm.
We only had 4 kids, but with all the bunk beds would easily sleep 8. They
loved being together in one big room. It was a surprise/bonus because
there was no picture of the "kids room" on the web site.
The house feels light & airy w/high ceilings and is tiled throughout the main
living areas. The pool table was huge hit as were the many television sets.
The pool is both kid and adult friendly with many places to sit and sun
bathe. The laundry room is particulary convenient & my husband
appreciated the private office area adjoining the master bath.
The Property is close to the airport which came in handy for the relatives
flying in from back east. It's also less than a mile away from the Palm
Springs Dog Park which we used 3 times on our visit. Close to restaurants,
casinos and shopping, with a grocery store and dry cleaners just a few
The house is neutrally & tastfully decorated. I would make a few small
changes. I highly reccomend replacing the dining room table as it's really
wobbly - almost falling apart - and it's the only place for a large group to
gather and eat. Also, while the leather furniture in the living room is
attractive, it in no way accomodates the number of guests the house holds.
Seats maybe 4 people max. A curved sectional would really be a better
choice for the space and for the size of the home. Again this would just be
my preference - the house overall was absolutely great and I'd stay here
again with a large group.
The service we received from PSRA was first rate. Whenever we needed them
they were only a phone call away. It's definately an organizati

Very Impressive "WOW" House!
Left on 10/01/2009 for a stay in September 2009 | S.H.
It was my husband's 60th birthday and we wanted to get the family together to celebrate. My husband is an avid golfer so I wanted to surprise him with a house on a golf course. This house totally exceeded our expectations. When we first walked in there is a big "wow" factor – mountains, golf course, lake, pool.
The house looks like a model home. It has very high ceilings and tasteful furnishings. It was so clean well taken care of we thought we were the first group ever to stay there.
We have a big family with lots of parents, kids, grandkids so a big house is important to us. This property had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. The kids loved the pool and yard, the men loved the golf and the women loved all the confortable seating areas inside and out to get away and catch up. We also all liked the pool table.
We felt like we were in another world and it made for the most memorable birthday. It really had everything we needed. And because the house could accomodate all our families, it was a great value. We plan to book the property again.
THE PERFECT RESORT HOME
Left on 09/24/2009 for a stay in August 2009 | Julie P.
We are a group of five couples that like to get together a few times a year without our kids and grandkids. We?re all retired and don?t like to travel too far. Palm Springs is the perfect distance for most of us. We looked for a house that could accommodate 5 couples and were all really, really impressed with Casa Sonora Grande.
The house is on a very quiet cul-de-sac in Palm Springs. The house looks beautiful from the outside. It is completely gated and very private. We had forgotten that the alarm was set for the house, so when we first entered the alarm sounded and we couldn?t find the sheet on how to shut it off. We called the rental agency and they were very helpful. They did a great job taking care of us.
We were very surprised that everything was exactly like the pictures on the website. I mean exactly. It has clearly been professionally decorated and it shows. We?re all pretty picky and the cleanliness and d?cor was outstanding. The house was perfect for 5 couples. You can kind of get lost in the house. All the rooms are in different corners so it was nice to have the privacy of our rooms and baths then get together in the main areas. We love to cook and BBQ so the kitchen and BBQ were important to us. The kitchen is at the center of house and had everything we needed. There are spectacular mountain views from the front of the house and views of the golf course, pool and lake from the backyard.
We all commented that this was one of the most peaceful, relaxing and elegant places we have stayed in. It had everything we needed. We could not image a more perfect resort experience.

We stayed at the Casa Sonora Grande in early July(7 days) and won't be returning. We visit PS sereval times a yr to enjoy the small town feeling, the heat and the relaxing pool side time.
CSG looks nice and fit the size we needed w/ friends from out of town joining us but the quality wasn't there.
If you provide a BBQ grill get a proper working one...The directions in the handbook said turn the gas on, throw a match in AND STAND BACK!! Yikes! Law suit in the making. Also when trying to grill the flame would go out more often than none when trying to use the low flame. Then you had to try to start it!!! REMEMBER...stand back. The grilling tools were worthless. We love to grill and that killed us.
No hand/drying towels in the kitchen. Sure we used the dish washer to do full loads but while preping food, small washes or just to wash your hands...We ended up buying our own and making sure we didn't leave them behind.
Toilet Paper was cr*p. Come on you charge 100s a night and Motel 6 beats this pace on the TP issue. I'm not picky but this was bad. Again we bought our own and took it w/ us.
The Managing Co was poor particularly when we checked out. My wife and I walked in to return the keys and remotes and the lady working the front desk only asked us which house we were in.....nothing after that. Not, How was your stay? How was everything? Was there anything else I can help you w/? No lady you just topped off the complaint...but thanks any way.
Other managing companies we have dealt w/ walked us thru the property and all its feature and makes sure we understand things like the alarm, pool, BBQ and any other things that may need explaining. PSRA couldn't be bothered.
We live and we learn and PSRA helped me short list my next stay in Palm Springs
