This custom 3 bed 3 bath home features 2 master suites with king beds on opposite sides of the home. The third bedroom changes configurations to meet your individual needs: a full time media room, or queen bedroom, your choice.

THE CASCADES is truly a unique property. This spacious designer home is located in the Movie Colony area of Palm Springs. It looks as though it was carved from its backdrop, the picturesque San Jacinto Mountains. One is greeted at the front security gate by a bronze crane relaxing beside a gently cascading water wall. The marbled entryway leads into a spectacular living room with built in couch, fireplace, custom... furnishings and artwork. Walls of glass in the sunroom lead to a private sparking pool and a large above ground spa. The master suite features a king size bed with light beneath looking as though it is floating on air with Custom lighting, linens, and designer accents throughout. The second master suite features a king size bed with custom built-ins. The sliding door that leads to a patio off the pool is protected by a heavy roman shade for late sleepers. The third bedroom can be customized to meet your needs. It doubles as either a full time media room with a convertible couch or is converted into a queen bedroom with large TV. It is your choice: advance notice may be necessary to convert the room. Visit The Cascades and make it your home away from home. This is a non-smoking home.

  The location was great. The house was immense but badly in need of updating. It was very dark so you really couldn't see it was dirty. Alot of indirect lighting but hard to determine what switches control what lights. We didn't even find the switch for the cascading waterfall until we left to return home.

  Home OK On arrival, security alarm did not work; we called PSRA immediately and a technician came out, but could not fix it and it was in that state for two months. In the PSRA literature, great emphasis was laid on security, but from the first moment, the home was vulnerable and the side gate would not lock, so we were not too happy about that.
  
  The property was 'tired' The kitchen, without any window at all and no natural light, we felt was not a place to linger. There was a central breakfast bar and there was a new fridge/freezer, but an ancient gas hob, with a jet which did not work. Reported it to PSRA, but they were not particularly interested in any shortcomings.
  
  We replaced the kettle and one or two other worn kitchen items and thoroughly cleaned the home early on in our stay. It wasn't dirty, but not to our standard and we left it considerably improved when we left. PSRA say that on rare occasions, they do not make a departure cleaning charge if the property is left in a very good condition. We pointed this out to them, but them did not respond and we did not find them particularly helpful once we arrived.
  
  My wife and I were there for two months. Good points were excellent location for downtown; aerial tram; golf courses; shops, restaurants and in a quiet neighbourhood. We were shocked by the bill for heating the pool.
  
  PSRA gave information when we called at the office just a few minutes by car, but they always seemed so busy and we felt we were interrupting them when we called. We needed to stay another four days in the area before returning home, but they could not help and did not seem especially interested in accommodating this short term request.
  
  It could have been so much better with just a little more interest and effort from PSRA.
  
  Could stay there again on a couple of conditions 1) if the property was spruced up 2) if I could deal through another agent
