East CoastA nice place, but not worth the cost.
Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Best parts of the house are: the outdoor area - extremely private and lots of space to spread out. Kitchen nice, living room good sized with comfortable furniture. Lots of room with 5 Bdrs, 4 Baths and Master and another open onto the pool area which is nice. Great wifi access and a printer as well which was very convenient.
The Negatives are that a number of furnishings and appliances are too run down for this expensive a rental: the MBR had nightstands with wood splintering off, sink faucets weren't fully attached and broken blinds. Washer/dryer do not work correctly. Dishwasher makes a very scary noise when you open and close. Very cheap coffeemaker and no hairdryer. Bedroom #5 has an air mattress.
Other disappointing items: Mountain view is "peekaboo" at best. Overgrown greenery blocks any view and litters the pool with leaves. There are bikes in the garage, but they are locked up so you can't use but take up space so you can't fit two cars.
We had a good time, but will pick a different house next time to rent from Palm Springs Rental agency who are always great to work with. -

Alberta CanadaExcellent!
Left on 12/15/2010 for a stay in December 2010
For a family Christmas getaway, we stayed for one week in this lovely house, along with our daughter, sons, their wives, & granddaughter. There was no shortage of room for all of us - we each had a spacious, lovely bedroom (everyone reported excellent sleeps in very comfortable beds.) No shortage of supplies - well stocked cupboards, lots of towels. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful pool area & especially how two of the bedrooms opened up right onto the pool courtyard - you could just roll out of bed into the pool or hottub (which my husband did for the majority of mornings we were there.) Beautiful views of the mountains from both the front & back yards; we spent many moments basking in the sun in the front on the comfy deck chairs. Quiet & peaceful - even though located fairly close to downtown - we walked down to the "strip" on numerous occasions. It was probably one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever been on, especially with the entire family! I would rent this house again in a moment.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and spacious home. The layout of the home was perfect for gathering together for meals and conversation and perfect for retreating to your room for some quiet time. We were able to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub daily, even in the sprinkles.

San Pedro, CAEverybody loves PS!
Left on 09/24/2010 for a stay in September 2010
I have been to PS a lot of times, however, this was the first time I go there with my family and the first time I stay at a home instead of at a hotel.
I made the reservation with Ian, who was extremelly friendly and very helpful in finding the perfect home. His customer service skills are outstanding and on my next trip to PS I will make it a point in dealing with him.
Upon arriving in PS, the staff at the office was very nice and informative in regards to the property.
When we arrived at the property it was nice and cool and spotless! the following day somebody from your office called us to make sure everything was in working conditions. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed like the outdoor light and the radio needed to be connected. So immediately they sent somebody to correct these minor problems and the rest of our stay there was impecable.
Even grandma loved it and suggested we spend the week of Christmas there! so we shall see, we might just do it.
Thank you very much for everything and all of us are looking forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Ivan.

Rancho Palos VerdesFun and relaxing annual friends & family trip.
Left on 08/12/2010 for a stay in July 2010
The property was great. The rental agency was great. The only 'downside' is that I had to go pick up the keys from the rental agency whereas other agencies have a lock box on property. Also, it's been a little over 3 weeks since checking out and I haven't seen my deposit. What takes so long?

San Diego, CANice house with a few problems
Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in December 2009
We enjoyed our stay in this home. Kudos to Palm Springs Rental Agency. They were very helpful throughout the entire process from booking, key retrieval, questions on operation of systems in the home.
The house is very open and comfortable. Although there was a notebook on operating most of the appliances, there were no instructions for the spa and heating it. Also, the lighting did not work in the front bedroom and the hot water was inadequate in that front bathroom shared by the 2 bedrooms in the front part of the house. We ended up taking turns using the shower in the master bedroom. Only one of the garage openers worked for opening the garage. Fortunately, after discovering this problem, the agency gave us the code to use the outside keypad which saved the guys' golf game. -

Left on 12/03/2009 for a stay in November 2009
The entire experience was excellent, from booking to departing. Your staff
was very helpful and attentive and the booking process was easy. The house
was very nice and accommodated us very well. Upon arrival the pool and spa
were heated as promised. The house, with its' four master bedrooms and
baths was perfect and very comfortable. The kitchen, while a little small, still
accommodated six cooks at one time. The dining and family area was large
and had enough seating to accommodate a large family. The outdoor patios
were lovely, and the entire outdoor space was beautifully landscaped.
Location is very good, lots of walking streets, large well maintained park
nearby, and a long walk or few minuet drive to downtown. Check out was
quick and easy. We will be coming to Palm Springs often, and will certainly
book with your company the next time. -

Jacksonville FLGreat Home In A Quiet Neighborhood
Left on 02/12/2009 for a stay in November 2008
Very clean and well-maintained home in an extremely quiet neighborhood. Beautiful yard and pool and a short (15 min) walk to downtown for dining and shopping. We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving and were in awe of a home just a few houses away that took up half a city block. All of the grounds were filled with lights and holiday displays and it was certainly the highlight of our trip. If you visit during the holidays, you won't miss it!

Pico Rivera, CaliforniaAbsolutely beautiful
Left on 02/12/2009 for a stay in September 2008
We spent 3 nights in this beautiful home, we wished is could have been longer. It is a beautiful home and very well equipped. It is a well stocked home we only had to go to the store to get what we were going to make to eat because we just wanted to stay in the beautiful pool. The beds are very comfortable. You will not be at all disappointed. We will be back.
Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to everyone. -

San FranciscoGreat house, but had a few problems
Left on 02/12/2009 for a stay in May 2008
The house was exactly what was needed for the weekend and the accomodations for the number of guests. There was a few issues that took away from the overall stay. Small issues like a coffee maker that didn't work properly and a washer/dryer that was broken (it was on, couldn't be shut-off, couldn't be used) were things that could be overlooked but when coupled with a locked front gate that we didn't have a key for and a hot tub that didn't have jets that would turn layered into an overall disappointment. The response from the rental agency wasn't timely and didn't express much concern. It felt almost as if a case had to be presented as to why the items listed were truly disappointing when in actuality it's a given that all items/accomodations should be in working order and even one not working properly is unsatisfactory let alone a number of items. The rooms and other accomodations were great and the house itself is one I would consider again but I would look at similar homes first due to a fear that similar problems as before would be encountered.

San Diego, CAGreat stay...but..
Left on 02/04/2009 for a stay in October 2008
The house is beautiful and accomodating. No issues with the house itself barring one or two little ones. Not show stoppers in any way. All the rooms were well furnished, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated. One small issue with what appeared to be with the room that seemed to be a converted den with sliding pocket doors. Not a lot of privacy in that room when you cant get the doors to close fully.
During the stay, gardeners arrived for yard maintainance. Inconvienient to say the least while on a nice quiet group retreat to have exactly the things we're looking to escape going on around us. We surely could have done without their visit.
The pool. Some issues with getting it heated properly and a couple of the guests had very minor skin issues after the stay due to some sort of saline or other chemical issue in the pool itself. However, we have stayed there as a group again since this and no issues were encountered that time (except for one person with notably sensitive skin, but even they were happy that the initial issue had been mostly corrected.)
Otherwise, well equipped, private, clean, well maintained and comfortable in every respect. I look forward to staying there again on future getaways. -
