This Mid-Century modern house is uber hip. Think Ocean's Eleven meets Elvis.
The backyard is anchored by a super pool with spa surrounded at one end by a canopied lounge area and shaded eating area (seats 4). The other end is a fully equipped Tiki bar (extra fridge & dishwasher), outdoor rain shower, dining area (seats 8) and hammock. Between the outdoor dining areas, gas fire pit, outdoor bar, lounges and more - this is where you will feel like a glamourous member of the Rat Pack - Frank, Dean or Sammy sipping Martinis or Manhattans poolside.

Our stay was truly fabulous. The rooms were all great sizes, the place was spotless and we instantly fell into a very relaxed vacation lifestyle. It was our first visit to Palm Springs and there is no doubt that it's a hot place so we were really glad for the great air-conditioning and abundance of bathrooms to take a cooling shower.
Most mornings were spent swimming, the pools is 20m - 25m, so just big enough to do laps and then lots of splashing with the kids and the huge abundance of water guns and lilos. Afternoons were all about sleeping, catching up on email (OK so there was a little work but the internet works great) and doing a some exploring. Evenings were family meals - the kitchen is well stocked with everything that you need - and then once the kids were in bed and it was cool enough relaxing in the Jacuzzi and staring at the stars.
As a family we are a little challenging when it comes to food (we have vegans to only meat eaters) so we were glad to be able to drive 10 minutes to a whole array of supermarkets and stock up on the essentials.
In terms of trips, Palm Springs is a little quite but there is still stuff to do, even in the off season. One day we went to the local boomers (15 minutes away) which did a great all you can play (go karts, video games, climbing wall, crazy golf) deal that was the highlight of our overstimulated kids holiday. Another day we drove 3 / 4 hours to Santa Monica and got to write our names in the sand and feel like proper tourists eating over-priced ice-creams on the beach.
Our only regret is that we may have left a few marks on the white sofa; however, we have been told not to worry about it as was being replaced.
We'd recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a great vacation in Palm Springs. -

We really enjoyed our stay in this classic mid-century bungalow, nicely decorated with style & panache. Once you close the front door you're in your private corner of paradise, nicely laid out around the pool & spa, complete with casita & tiki bar. The furniture and amenities are top notch, comfortable, clean & inviting. Accommodations are suitable for a larger party, with extra living space in the casita for teenagers or another couple who want some privacy. Great service, great accommodation and a handy location, minutes from the airport, just a 5 minute drive to downtown. We're already planning our next stay!
