We stayed at Tres Palmas for a long weekend with a group of friends recently and it was perfect. The house was roomy enough to acomodate three couples and the kitchen was perfect for cooking - we brought an ice chest of food from L.A. and we never ate out. The pool was lovely and the hot tub and fire pit were an ideal spot to relax after dinner. There's nothing the house didn't have. The neighborhood, as well, is a pristine group of Wexler & Harrison homes from the 1950s, so it's the perfect spot to take people who are interested in mid-century design and architecture.
